I purchased Ellis shoring posts a few years ago for a difficult job and they worked exceptionally well. I find myself using them often on my projects. I even have some contractor friends who ask if they can use them on occasion. I recently purchased the shoring clamps for 4x4 and used the post in combination with the shoring posts to hold up the roof so I could remove the deck below. Great product. Used the Pivoting Shore Cup to support my HVAC mezzanine that was falling down. After jacking up the mezzanine I took out the old 4x4 supports and secured the Pivoting Shore Cups to the wall headers and also beneath the HVAC platform, cut the new 4x4 posts to length and secured it. Then I lowered the jacks and everything was as sturdy as can be!"
