Elevate Finance Review: Bait and Switch Tactics and Impossible to Cancel
I am writing this to warn others about the deceptive "bait and switch" tactics used by this company. My experience started with a mailer from Fidelity First. However, once I began the application process, I started receiving emails from a company called Catalyst. Finally, when it came time to review the actual legal documents, they were issued by Elevate Finance.This confusing web of company names is a massive red flag and feels like a deliberate attempt to obscure who you are actually doing business with.The worst part, however, is their "cancellation" process—which is essentially non-existent. I have tried to cancel my engagement with them five separate times via email and called their office three times. Each time, I was either ignored or given the runaround.During my last phone call, I spoke with Julie in the cancellation department. She explicitly told me that everything was canceled and promised I would receive written confirmation via email immediately. That email never arrived. It has become clear that they have no intention of honoring cancellation requests and are simply ignoring me in hopes that I’ll give up.Bottom line: If you receive a mailer from Fidelity First or Catalyst, be aware that you are likely dealing with Elevate Finance. Save yourself the headache and stay away.

Settle the debts yourselves
I made a mistake in doing the debt settlement program. I thought it was going to wipe out my debts but then ended up in a bigger hole. I eventually canceled the contract earlier this year yet they’re still calling me. My suggestion is to settle the debt on your own before joining the program

So, I had an issue with the way things were being dealt with on my account. I was being sued by the final creditor which had not settled. I had made many calls and tried to get information on how this settlement was going. With court a week away the office manager reached out to me and got a settlement for this final debt and we agreed to the terms which he negotiated very nicely. Thank you for getting this done.

I’m updating my review positively after a long conversation with a manager at Elevate. While I can’t rate this entire experience as I’m still in it, I learned ALOT that I would like to pass along to you so you make an educated decision. He was very professional, understanding and shared his successful experience of going thru this program himself. The person trying to “sell” you this program may be more than dishonest and misleading about how the program works. The agreement you sign does have the TRUE information. So read the fine print, as pointed out it can be thrown into AI to help decipher. Secondly, if you do decide you want to go forward, after you sign the agreement, you will receive an “Initial Welcome” call. You can ask any and all questions and can back out if you change your mind. Hopefully I will come back to change this to a 5 Star after my experience is complete.

Contract now resolved
I'm giving them only 2.5 stars because so far they only completed half of there promises and contract after speaking with them they said they work very well with my two creditors and promise to get me a good offer so we settle on offer for 34 months . They said it would only take 3 or 4 months to work things out with the creditors after 4 months they settle with one great no issues there now the other has been going on over two years with no word from elevate about progress or status meanwhile I've been making my payment without miss for over two years..so today elevate calls me to renegotiate my contract because the creditors not bulging that I need to pay more money after two years of silence and understand that I only have about 10 payments left on my contract.im not bulging either I have kept up my part without miss they need to fulfill there part of the agreement.. right now it looks like there trying to scam me for more money.I want to give a quick update.After my complaint 2 or 3 hours later elevate office did call me to go over my complaint and resolve my issue. We were able to resolve the situation and they apologize for the misunderstanding and I was totally happy with it being done quickly and satisfying. I will continue to work with them.
