Fraud and no contact

I ordered 3 packages of shaver heads.I received only 2 in a package completely destroyed by water, meaning the two products I did receive were also water damaged. I had a lot of difficulties getting in contact with the seller, who seemed to not wanting to reply.In the end I got a partial refund. Not satisfactory, and most definetely not worth the hassle. I am buying shaver heads at another place next time.

Workable replacements when needed

The chief advantage of directshaverparts.com is that it carries the spare parts I need for a shaver I bought many years ago. Those are not particularly easy to find - for shavers or anything else - given the advantage manufacturers find in built-in obsolescence. I was able to find the necessary foil and cutter quickly on this site, they arrived in a reasonable time and have since worked well.

Faulty product & now they don't respond - Not Recommended!

I ordered a set of replacement blades for my elderly fathers Philips shaver. The first time these were used, a part fell off one of the blades making them unusable. I contacted the company but they haven't replied and guess what - there's no phone number to call! Looks like I'll need to order another set from somewhere else.

Ordered Philips rotary blades

Ordered Philips rotary blades which come with foils. Delivery process was fine and I received 9 emails from 3 different companies (DSP Paypal and Royal Mail) tracking progress. Arrived in a week. However, I do not think these are real Philips authorised products as the dome in the middle of the foils is a different shape meaning not such a close shave. So I am using new blades with old foils and this is fine...but have I got anything better than ebay sell for half the price? I don't know.

The shaver heads arrived

The shaver heads arrived, put them straight in to my shaver and when I switched it on they made a lot of noise also the blades weren't as sharp as my 2 year old blades absolutely shocking, unless you like the stubble being pulled out of your face and not cut, sent 2 emails reporting the problem and guess what NO reply, would not recommend

Philips shaver heads ordered and that…

Philips shaver heads ordered and that is what arrived. It took approx 2 weeks to come, given the Brexshit and Covid problems at the moment I think that's pretty good. Would I order from them again... yes!

Slow by Swedish standards

I ordered shaver parts online on 29th December 2020. Paypal confirmed the transaction the same day. I became worried because the payment went to a private person. Alarm bells started ringing! I fully expected I had lost my money. But 13th January I received an email from SDP saying the parts had been shipped. They arrived at my home address in Sweden in good condition on 1st February and are genuine factory-packed parts. Compared to the speed of delivery and tracking information I am used to in Sweden then DSP service was not good. (I had not checked when I ordered that DSP is located in Portugal).Apart from the payment to an individual person rather than a company, then the transaction went slowly but safely. But I do not recommend DSP if you are in a hurry!

Parts were shipped from Portugal.Parts are not genuine, did not come in manufacturers packaging. Parts are very poor qualityAvoid

Read this before you send your money...

This company appears to be fraudulent. I ordered replacement cutters for my Norelco shaver on 10-29-20. They have not arrived as of 11-21-20 and the company won't respond to my emails. I am going through the process with PayPal to get my money back, but wish they would check out companies before they do business with them. In my opinion this company has engaged in outright theft by taking my money and not giving me what I ordered. This review site requires that I be polite, so please read between the lines to find out what I really think. Consider this the warning I wish someone had given me before I paid them.Now it's Dec. 4th and the razor parts arrived Nov. 30th. So, I take back most of what I wrote and posted earlier. I DON'T think that the company is fraudulent. Yes, it took the items 31 days to arrive and the company didn't answer my emails, but mainly I now think the problem was mostly my fault. I should have read the listing more carefully before I ordered. If I had, I would have seen that the company was located in Portugal and orders should be expected to take a long time to arrive in the US. I should have ordered the parts from a US based company instead, since I wanted them right away. And by the way, the parts work just fine.

ABSOLUTELY A GREAT COMPANY!!!!! Shipping was faster than expected. Product was of great quality. I will definitely buy from them again and no one else!! Everyone should buy from them. They are great...even in the Covid-19 time right now, and them being out of the US, the shipping was here way before expected. And product was wrapped securely and safe. 5 STARS+++++++ for them. Thank you Direct Shaver Parts. You have a customer for life!!!!!!

Disorganised

I had a rather disappointing customer service experience (or lack thereof) to begin with. I ordered a part on 13 December 2019, received an order confirmation and invoice ... they said the item was out of stock. Christmas came and went and I forgot about my order ... Corona came and I realised I'd never received the part. Having read one of these reviews, I contacted the company via the Paypal email, as opposed to the one on the order confirmation which I tried back in April, to no avail, and this time they got back to me promptly ... apologised that they'd had problems with their database, so had missed my order. I received the part a few days ago from Portugal. They've redeemed themselves in the end, but they really do need to get their act together!

Possibly the worse company I’ve ever…

Possibly the worse company I’ve ever dealt with.I should have checked trust pilot before ordering replacement shaver heads because I’ve had the sameproblem as others.As soon as you order and pay they contact you to sayit is not in stock.Once you’ve contacted PayPal they contact you almostimmediately to say order is on the way 2 weeks laternothing nada zilch AVOID PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEYAND GO ELSEWHERE hopefully eBay and PayPal willremove from all web pages.Update product arrived.

Would have given no stars if it was a…

Would have given no stars if it was a choice. New shaver heads just received and do not cut, absolute crap. Supposedly original parts but came in clear plastic case. Avoid.

I ordered a Panasonic WES9074 Cutter…

I ordered a Panasonic WES9074 Cutter for £11.10 from Direct Shaver Parts on 1st February 2020. When I made the purchase, their web site said the item was 'in stock'. As soon as I had placed the order, it said the item was 'out of stock'. Even so, the company had taken my payment, and my bank account was debited with the full amount on 4th February. The receipt gave the merchant’s name as Raul Manuel Oliveira. It also gave his email address. Aware that businesses are struggling during the pandemic, I decided to be patient, though a payment should never be taken for an item that is out of stock. I emailed the merchant on 4th May but received no reply. I emailed the company on 8th May and still received no reply. However, when I requested a refund via Paypal, they responded within hours. A lesson for me! Perhaps they had not trusted my emails and need customers to go through the official channel, in my case Paypal.In summary, they are not dishonest, but they should have acknowledged my emails, which they could check against the receipt I attached, and asked me to request my refund via Paypal if they could not deliver the product they had charged me for. It would be wise to avoid this company until this situation is resolved.Trustpilot is I think a helpful service in situations like this. I was encouraged to read a review from someone else in the UK who has had a similar experience this year. He said he received an apology and refund eventually. I never received an apology, but I did receive a prompt refund when I went via Paypal's Resolution Center.

Appear to be rather disorganised but not dishonesty incompetent - avoid!!!

I ordered a cutter and foil replacement on their website for my Remington shaver on 23rd January 2020 and, despite several enquiries on their system, I had still not received either the ordered goods or any response as of today's date of 22nd April 2020.However, I am happy to say that later today I heard from the company by email and the gentleman explained that they had been having problems with their database system and apologised for their failure to respond earlier.As they only had the foil and not the cutter in stock (or was it the other way round) they had already processed a refund to my credit card.Naturally I am very pleased that I have now been reimbursed.

I ordered replacement shaver cutting…

I ordered replacement shaver cutting heads for my Philips razor from this site.Although I entered my shaver model number, the website directed me to heads that turned out to be incorrect.I attempted to contact the owner through the website three times.I asked for the correct part number for my heads so as to enable a swap.I asked that if a swap was not possible that I be reimbursed.I have had no reply to any of my messages.At the same time I returned the incorrect heads to the supplier.The courier has attempted to deliver them twice and has not been able to do so.Direct Shaver Parts is a very bad company - do not use them.
