Overpriced, poor quality and unreliable
Well, I live in Australia and paid a LOT of money for a complete set of DT speakers - 2x surround, 1 centre and 2xMythos STS towers about 15 years ago. They looked beautiful and sounded fantastic for about 5 years and I had them repaired at significant cost about a couple of years later. They worked for another 5 years and now I have been advised parts are no longer available and so they all have to go to landfill/ewaste. Pathetic for a “premium” brand as I would expect long term reliability/quality as well as service and parts to be part the premium price - not so with DT. They have failed on all counts. I would never recommend this brand or buy again.My advice to anyone living anywhere else but the USA is to get any other brand but Definitve Technology!

Frustrating Experience with Mythos STS…
I’ve really enjoyed the sound of my Mythos STS speakers, and they’ve provided me with many great listening experiences. Unfortunately, after several issues, I will no longer consider returning to the brand.Here are the problems I’ve encountered:The rubber ribbon inside the speakers, meant to absorb vibrations, came off in both speakers, causing strange vibrations as it was touching the bass radiator. I had to reattach it myself.The plastic covers on top detached due to poor adhesive.The potentiometer on one of the speakers failed, leaving me unable to adjust the bass.I reached out to Definitive Technology’s customer service, who directed me to repair shops in France (where I live). After several months of waiting, I was told the replacement parts were no longer available, making my speakers irreparable.It’s really frustrating and unacceptable for a brand that positions itself as affordable high-end. These speakers, with no support or spare parts, are now heading to the trash. Such a waste, especially considering how much I love the sound.Given the lack of support, I’ll be switching to a brand known for better customer care and after-sales service.

If they fail good luck getting competent help
Speakers sound good (except at high volume) but when they fail (mine did 6 months in with a bad amp), do not expect help regardless of them billing themselves as a 'top tier' company'. They off-shore their customer service and its clear they try to run through tickets as fast as they can. I am 3 years in with still no fix and almost 60 emails back and forth (and I think up to 8 different 'agents' helping me by now). And even though the speaker was failing months after owning it, now that we are 3 years in it's 'out of warranty' and they want money to fix it. The new agents who respond to the email thread never read back far enough to get the story. Clearly I will never buy from Definitive Technology again.

Definitive Technology BP-10’s
I have had two pairs of BP-10’s in my theater system, one of which since 1997. They both perform wonderfully and I would never consider anything else. I only would upgrade to BP-30’s if they ever brought them back!

Fantastic company
Fantastic company. I ordered a 2x floor speakers and a center channel speaker. I had some issues a few months later with one of the floor speakers. Customer service got a part out to me no questions asked and gave me clear instructions. I have had no problems since, only compliments. Eventually I will replace everything with Definitive Technology equipment.

Order Number: US-SO-105185 , March 10th 2020Worst customer service ever, always busy and when lucky endless holds on the phone for through connection.Only order parts by phone.......I had to beg them to complete my order and to finally do payment after two days of calling.Was promised items would ship next day. Still no tracking number received, but the shipping charges have been taken out of my account since two days ago.Unfortunately, here is the only place to get replacement parts for Definitive Technologies speakers.Very unsatisfied.
