I got a complete data recovery for my SD card for a more-than-reasonable price, with incredible communication from them and a REALLY fast turnaround. Don’t misunderstand me when I say I hope I never need to use their services again. It just means that I hope to never again need data recovered. I would not hesitate to send my media here though, should the worst happen to another of my storage media.

Well, the bottom line is DataRecovery did just that--recovered our "lost" data at a price that we could afford. Along the way, from our initial phone call to getting a new external hard drive with our data, I had several conversations or e-mail contacts that kept me informed about what was going on. I had the choice along these steps to stop the process so I wasn't forced into any choices that I was uncomfortable with. They were also very fast.
My experience was quick, easy and everything I wanted. I had a quick call, shipped my broken hard drive, and received a new one back with all my files restored in a matter of days. Amazing!
Excellent in every aspect. First, I got all my files back from a physically failed hard drive. Data Recovery got a perfect result. I don't think anything at all was lost. Second, Data Recovery had professional communication throughout the entire project. All call backs were very speedy in reply to my inquiries. They kept me informed as the process went along so I wasn't left wondering what was happening. They were clear and detailed in what I could expect and what I needed to do. They were careful not to set any unreasonable expectations, yet they were descriptive such that I was able to enjoy some optimism. Third, wow, was this fast. I dropped the failed hard drive off on a Friday afternoon, and my usb drive with the recovered data was delivered to my house Monday morning a week later. If it is helpful to readers of this review, this was a 1tb SSD from a big brand laptop running Windows 11. I had my bitlocker recovery key to give to Data Recovery.
From the first contact to completion, I experienced professional and caring treatment. I felt like I mattered. It seemed very important to all involved that my data would be restored in both timeliness and completeness. My expectations were certainly exceeded, and I was most pleased with the results.I did not notice until almost the end that I could track status online. Perhaps this could be emphasized in the initial contact. I am sure I am not alone in the fact that I did not carefully read the email beyond the fact that a case was opened.Thank you for offering this valuable service and experience.

It's never fun losing your data/access to your hard drive. Thankfully, Datarecovery helped solve my problems. As soon as I reached out, they walked me through the process of recovering my data. They sent me a shipping label, which I was able to track, and I was able to track the process as they recovered my data. Fabulous work! I thought I lost my data and photos, but they were able to retrieve it fast and fairly affordable for what they do. Bradley was so nice and professional and walked me through the process and they worked with me every step of the way. I highly recommend them!
Justin was very helpful and mindful of the importance of keeping me updated in the recovery process. He was prompt in returning emails and was overall a wonderful pleasure to work with.
These guys saved our film. Before we had a chance to back up some of the files needed for our documentary film, the drive failed. It wouldn't mount to any computer we tried. Mac or PC, it didn't matter. We thought all hope was lost and some of the major interviews we shot we gone forever including one of a man who passed away. Thanks to these guys, we're good to go. All of our data was retrieved and we're back on track. I can't thank them enough!
