Highly recommend Andra McCollin
Andra was immensely professional and took such good care of our girls. She really shows that she cares about who she is looking after. She was punctual, was able to "just go with it" and mostly importantly, our girls loved her! We have rebooked her again and again.

Good long term/poor short term candidates
The quality of candidates is extremely varied. Our short term/temp candidates were both very inexperienced and one was very inappropriate with our child in their language and demeanor. I do not know how much screening goes into the temp candidates. The charges for these candidates was also way above their skill sets. The long term candidates however were very suitable in their qualifications and they appeared to have been properly vetted prior to being recommend.

Tracy Schimmel--Wowđź’•
I reached out to Crunch Care for a sitter for my 18 month old granddaughter at the last minute when our caregiver broke her ankle and was unavailable for the wedding. There were some challenges getting through the paperwork online, but ultimately Courtney processed our application and we were put in touch with Tracy Schimmel. What a fabulous experience we had with her! Communication was completely easy and open. She was a delight from the very first conversation. Tracy completely had little Charlotte's heart at first sight (after a very trying day with too many people and not enough naps!) and sent pictures and messages throughout the evening to the concerned parents delight. I cannot recommend Tracy highly enough. You will be lucky if you get her!! Thanks again so much Tracy! You are truly giftedđź’•

Ohh my goodness!!!
Ohh my goodness, Tracy Shimmel is the best. She watched my daughter Charlotte (19months old) for a one time experience at our hotel while my husband and I went to my sisters wedding reception. She was on time and my daughter just ran to her and gave her, her coloring book like they were best friends at first sight. Which is saying a lot for my daughter with stranger danger during covid. Tracy radiates a humble and caring heart and my daughter new it. She was so excited to meet her with no fear, she didn’t even say bye to us as we let them sneak past us to go off on a stroller ride with out us. Tracy sent us pictures and video up dates of them doing art projects that she brought for them to do. My daughter was asleep soundly before we ever got back which we found was a miracle. She really has the magic!! She left the room tidy and she was very open to flexibility of when we would like to leave the event we were at. If we are ever in San Diego again we wouldn’t worry about finding a baby sitter. We wish she would move to our home town my husband I joked with her. Just so happy Tracy thank you so much. We will save these art projects for years to come!!

Excellent experience!

Incredibly Helpful
I was referred to Crunch Care by a different agency who couldn’t accommodate such short notice and short numbers of bookings and Crunch Care was able to hop on it! They literally booked me someone for the next day!I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done cause it was of high importance to book someone so quick!I was also able to switch girls when I felt like one of them wasn’t the best match! They were very quick to accommodate my needs all around. Very thankful!

She is excellent! Created a log that she brought with her when my son had diapers throughout the day, when and what he ate, plus what activities they enjoyed together. She also neatened up my son’s room after playing with the toys at the end of the day, unprompted!

We have a 19 month old little girl that…
We have a 19 month old little girl that is our whole world. Since all of our family either lives out of town or out of the country we don't have much of a "village", so when her daycare (which we love) took their spring break we really didn't know what to do. For better or for worse, we (all of us including the baby) are very select with who we allow to look after her and be in our home. Luckily my wife's work has a contract with Crunch for backup care. I had heard great things but you still never know until you meet the person. Within minutes of Nicole walking in to the house, we felt like we found our village and my work was saved for the week. They hit it off instantly and we knew Nicole had it under control. So much so that I didn't feel the need to leave that crazy list of everything she might need. Showed her where everything was and got that reassuring "I got this, go to work" look you are looking for with new care. During her week here they explored the back yard, went bug hunting, read books, did tea time, walks, etc. Our Lil talked about their day after. It really was perfect. Only sad we didn't turn this direction sooner when we had unexpected need for extended Care. Really can't say enough good things about the service and about Nicole. As much as I love staying at home with my daughter sometimes, I also have a business to run and it's really a relief to know we have found a fill in village.Thanks Crunch Care and Nicole!

It would be alot helpful that on call…
It would be alot helpful that on call with just sent out cases that are in San Diego to those employed in the San Diego area versus showing us jobs that are in Irvine San Marcos Etc was just a little bit far out for some of us. There should be a better way to communicate on how to call out especially the day of your shift. Wiring Place says talk to Pam the other one says get in touch with on call but nobody gets back to you when you send a message on your newsfeed

We love our nanny!!!!
Our nanny has been with our family for almost 4 yrs...since our oldest daughter was 2 months old. We love her. She is a huge part of the “village” that allows me to continue with my career, raise our toddlers and look relatively sane in the process. As our children have grown, she’s adapted to our needs...picking up from preschool, introducing new child development ideas, teaching letters and numbers, etc. And we don’t do iPads or iPhones. She keeps them interacting and entertained all day. Invaluable!
