This website is run by thieves. I uploaded a document to gain access and when I saw that they were going to keep requiring additional documents I decided to delete my information from the site… except you CAN’T. There is no option to delete your own documents or account info on your own. I contacted customer service who then forwarded me to another company that I guess does the IT stuff and they required a bunch of additional forms to be filled out with even more of my personal information just to delete documents I uploaded. Then they said the request was resolved a few days later and that it would take an additional 7 days to fully delete my account. That’s not all, apparently their terms and conditions say they have an irrevocable license for your documents when you upload them, which means you can’t delete your own documents that you uploaded so they keep them forever using them to attract even more unsuspecting students to this scam website. How is this anything but theft? What a joke.

Definitely by far one of the most glitched platforms
Definitely by far one of the most difficult platforms I've had to deal with. Just for temporary access to assignments, it charges you a subscription, and when you attempt to upload documents to unlock '5 credits' instead of paying for a subscription, it puts you in a loop where you upload 10 documents and then get asked to upload another set to no avail.On top of this, even if your documents are getting processed, some of them never do get approved and wind up being stuck with the loading animation until all of a sudden, everything just resets by itself if you either close the browser or wait after a while.

I paid for a full year of Course Hero just two weeks ago, and today when I tried to log in, my email “didn’t exist” anymore. I contacted their support and they told me they closed my account because of “suspicious activity.”The only thing I ever did was look up questions I needed help with. I didn’t break any rules, and they never gave me any warning.The worst part is that they refused to refund my money. I paid $143 for a full year, and now I can’t even access my account.Many of the answers on Course Hero are already wrong or incomplete, and on top of that, they keep the money even after closing your account for no valid reason.Very unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I do not recommend Course Hero to anyone. They don’t deserve any star. Give me back my money

Charged for a Cancelled Subcription...
I was charged for a subscription that I've CANCELLED. My account doesn't even exist anymore and when I try to log in I get an "object object" error, what ever that means. I've tried resetting my password but I have not gotten an email. This is ridiculous!

1.5?? Heck did you get that? The worst customer service. Answers quite quickly, but with horrible news and no help whatsoever. This is a very sneaky company, I highly recommend you do not subscribe to this garbage.

Please don’t use this website for your student studies! It’s a horrible website! Also, when you try cancel your subscription, they try to charge you for the entire monthly amount and they fight and refuse to refund your money. They have horrible customer service! Don’t use this website . You don’t get the access to study materials that are promised in the subscription. You either have to pay more or submit multiple amounts of your own study materials before you can access study content on the website.

They auto enrolled me for renewal and mow costing me $143. They wouldn’t cancel until next year (so basically i am paying for one full year) even after cancelling. I tried to dispute the charge, didn’t help. CourseHero went from legitimate company to SCAM.

Was charged the renewal fee of $200 and then they locked me out of my account after the charge was disputed with PayPal. I didn't even have access to my account, yet they still charged me, and now I'm paying $200 for nothing because they blocked any further account access. Nothing but scammers!

I wish there would be an option of "ZERO *". Super expensive app for study. Deducted 200+ CAD as a annual fee but didn't give an access even a month. The worst source of study in terms of their financial packages. Will never ever recommend this.

They really don't deserve a star
I'm giving them a 1-star (they shouldn't deserve any) for one that when you pay for a subscription and is the most expensive one that they offer then they should give you access to all of the documents therefore, they want you pay additonal fees to access the full documents I don't think its damn fare and I have been cancelled my subscription a month ago. Then they automatically took my card money without me knowing it. So I asked for a refund, and they refused to give it to me, so do not get a subscription with Course Hero; they are a total rip-off.
