Scam call from someone named Sierra at Compass Tax Group. Said that there was a state tax lien that had been filed which is utterly false. There are no tax liens against our company and this is nothing more than a fraudulent unsolicited call to try and stir up business for themselves. Stay far away.
Chris did a excellent job of negotiating a Offer in Compromise for my business that owed more than 1mm in Trust Fund taxes. I was in a bad way and Chris negotiated a settlement of 10% of liability. This was a life saver for me.Thanks from the bottom of my heart Chris and Jody.
No integrity. Do not patronize!Scam call from this company. Claimed they found a tax lien against my company and offered their services. However, there are no tax liens against my company, and this just sent me down a rabbit hole and sucked 6 hours of my already overworked time to investigate. This is a dirty way of doing business and I hope no one supports this company.
We have been working with Compass Tax Group on an ongoing IRS issue. Our attorney Chris Tibbals is a true professional. He was persistent, gave us a clear strategy and followed through on what he said. Very happy with the service.
What a nightmare! I received a few calls (I’ll leave the person’s name out for his privacy), however the first initial phone calls were okay, however I had not called them back due to the reviews and the feedback received from an individual. Anyway, I received another phone call from the same agent and he was giving me information that I hadn’t known, he then transferred me to his “manager”. If this is his manager then I’m afraid to meet the CEO. The manager was rude, condescending, and abrasive. He wouldn’t let me speak and then when I finally stopped him and asked him the main questions I need to know. He began to yell at me and became extremely aggressive. It was like a boxing match but instead of using fists he was using his mouth, then he proceeded to tell me that he doesn’t want my business. He went from saying they were looking to help, to saying they don’t want the business because they realize you’re on to their nonsense. The experience was truly unforgettable. They need restructuring and better training. Not everyone is going to be interested in your services, it’s apart of business. Instead these people throw tantrums and become disrespectful.
Bases on the reviews this seems like a great company however the demeaning and condescending nature of the staff leaves less to be desired. The knowledge they hold should be used to educate and enlighten business owners as opposed to berating and insulting them.
I received a solicitation from a young man from this Compass Tax Group.....after explaining to him IRS will do nothing for me since I have excess real estate properties and I was on a payment plan with the IRS he refused to let it go...I had to stop the constant salesmanship as nice a s possible and he says to me " Okay, well I hope you die from Cornona'...….really? What kind of company is this?????? Must be a scam company.
We hired Compass Tax Group to assist us with a long term IRS tax issue which we could not resolve ourselves. They quoted a price and kept to it. No additional fees or costs. Our attorney, Chris Tibbals, was personal and professional. He always was available kept us updated with filings and case movement. We are well pleased and would highly recommend Compass Tax Group for anyone needing help with tax issues.

Rude and Horrible service! Even taking the time to give this negative review is not worth the time or respect the aggressive caller deserves. I wish you the best of luck and pray for this business because with cold calling manners that i experienced will be the companies own self destruction. I'm scared for my life and hate the fact that i even have to share my name. Good Luck
This company solicits business yet the representatives lie each time and say they aren't soliciting. They want to talk to the business owner about their personal business issues which are actually tax issues. The IRS messed up a return for the company I work for. It is being worked out, but in the meantime, we are getting all of these tax companies calling constantly lying to us about who they are and what they do. I do not appreciate the lies from these companies and their representatives who are all very rude. I told the rep over and over that I know it’s a solicitation and that we weren’t interested. He still kept trying to harass me.The business owner responded and said, "I don't believe this review was made by someone who had an interaction with my business." Really? So you think I like to just get on here to make fake reviews? Give me a break. A couple months later, we received yet two more calls from them soliciting business. I recorded the conversation from yesterday, 9/3/19, whose name was Joseph aka Joe, and told him they were instructed to put us on their do-not-call list months ago, which apparently they ignored. I let him know that I left them a review about their literal, continuous harassment and refusal to comply with our requests to stop calling. I told him our conversation was being recorded and that they really needed to put us on their do-not-call list. After the call ended, a few minutes later I received an email stating the firm received a 1-star review from Joseph Hickey, who is the owner of Compass Tax Group and an Arkansas attorney. Obviously, this review was left out of spite. When I learned that Mr. Hickey was an attorney, I let him know I would be filing a bar complaint due to the continued harassment and their unwillingness to stop calling. NOW he’s concerned. That’s what happens when you continue to solicit business in direct violation of a customer’s wishes.
Elise at Compass Tax Group was amazing!!. My experience was everything I hoped it would be and they did what they said they would do handling everything and staying in contact with me every step of the way. I would definitely recommend compass tax group to everybody.
