The show itself was very good but it…

The show itself was very good but it was ruined because of the service. I sat in the last row in a single seat but in front of me was a 2 metre tall man and all I could see was his big head. I asked for a seat pad / cushion, as all theatres provide them, but was told they don’t have it. I sat on the stairs next to the seat and was fine with that because I could see the stage and sat there for most of the show, until a woman/staff came up towards the end saying something I couldn’t hear in quite an aggressive way and showing me to sit in my seat. I told her I couldn’t see anything in my seat but she didn’t care. I wasn’t in anyone’s way, it wasn’t a fire exit as there was a wall behind me - I’m very disappointed, nobody wants to pay to watch somebody’s head for a few hours. My back really hurts now, I almost left the show.

“Talented performers let down by chaotic direction and poor choreography”

I must be honest and say that this was one of the most chaotic and poorly put-together shows I have ever seen.I have mixed emotions because, on one hand, the individual circus acts, the orchestra, and the ensemble singing were absolutely amazing. The performers themselves displayed incredible skill and talent. However, the director and choreographer should hang their heads in shame, as they truly let these performers down. The storyline, choreography, and particularly the transitions between scenes were simply awful.Adding the clowns, who spent much of the show shouting and screaming, only made matters worse. Their presence felt unnecessary and more irritating than entertaining, contributing nothing of value to the overall performance. The director and choreographer had the opportunity to create something truly beautiful, but instead, it turned out to be a major disappointment.Furthermore, the first act was around 40 minutes long, and the second not much longer — which felt far too short and certainly not value for money. The entire experience gave the impression that the main goal was to make money rather than provide high-quality entertainment. To make matters worse, the prices for food and drink were extortionate — quite frankly, daylight robbery. It’s hard to imagine how an average working family could afford to visit your venue.

Come Alive Musical is Amazing!

What an amazing show!!!I visited on Sunday 17th August 2025 with my partner and can honestly say it was one of the best shows we have been to. The vocals were extraordinary, the choreography was amazing and the talent out of this world! We booked the VIP package which included free flowing champagne and our seats were front row centre, which made our visit exceptional! We shall return soon with the whole family :)

Booked to go on Saturday 26th July…

Booked to go on Saturday 26th July 2025. Arrived at the correct time to be advised the show had been cancelled 10 Minutes before.Having set off at 7.30am in the Morning to go to a Matinee Show there and back our whole trip to London was wasted. Not to mention the Cost to get there and the time spent.Today we have been advised they will give us 2 tickets for a later date currently on sale £15.00 cheaper. But they are kindly offering a Free Drink for an apology for what happened !! and no offer of a Refund to cover the difference in the Price between the two shows. The Free Drink is probably less than the £15.00 so actually there is no apology and in fact an insult to us.I am currently awaiting a Reply from the Box Office; but it seems a shame a Theatre can treat people this way. Be careful if you choose to go to this show.

Absolute joke

Absolute joke. When i got there they had given my seat to someone else. No apology just moved me to another seat where the view was worse than my allocated seat. Zero customer service when I complained. As others have said it’s way overpriced for what it is, a basic circus act with some good vocals. Massive disappointment. I go to the theatre at least twice a month and this show is poor and way below average for London. I thought that anyway but as they have dealt with mycomplaint so incredibly badly I thought I wouldlet others know to avoid at all costs. Sonot worth the money or time to travel there

Poor, ripoff not worth the money. Just another cash & grab.

One of the shortest shows I’ve ever seen!!! Extremely weak story line didn’t even stick to the film, Andrew Lloyd Webber would be horrified, was very confusing as both main characters Jackman & Efron were played by women didn’t get it, no Tom Tumb, Irish giant or beaded lady… 25mins into the show (barely warming up) there’s a 20min interval properly a ploy to make sure everyone pays extra for all the overpriced items on offer from souvenirs, food and drinks £11 a Magnet, absurd! Was just a glorified circus act where they’ve incorporated some of the songs. It’s a-shame as the venue is layed out really nicely. Whole performance takes 1hr 10mins with the 20mins interval break very poor value for money. Thought the bar dance end scene would have been a saving grace savour but unfortunately didn’t deliver. Please don’t waste your money can’t see this lasting long. Just another cash & grab. I don’t blame the actors & performers just a bad production. Shouldn’t be long till the word gets across and moves across to the west end, hopefully Webber can put his stamp on it at least it would be salvaged rather than destroying the film we all love.!

This is the most amazing immersive show. My sister and I had the best time you actually feel like you are part of the musical the greatest showman. I would thoroughly recommend going to see this show . It’s a show for all the family amazing !!!!! Also the empress theatre staff were so good and obviously wanted you to have the best experience whilst you were at the show so kind and helpful.

Wow! One of the best show experiences! Go!

What an amazing show, one of the best I’ve ever seen, my daughter is desperate to go again! It’s stunning and captivating from the moment you arrive. Lots of attention to detail and an immersive experience from the second you set foot in the door. Even the way the theatre is set up is like being in a circus. The performers are amazing and there is so much going on. The singers and band are phenomenal. An amazing experience. I couldn’t fault it, even when they had technical issues and despite very very little legroom seats. Still 5 stars
