I love the ability to try new gear without going through the atrocious loss involved with constant buying and selling gear. This company is a great option for musicians who just want to try gear for themselves! I’ve been using them for almost 2 years.

Had an issue with my monthly payment, but the company owner Dave reached out to me personally. And even through all my frustration. He worked with me and was able to get everything resolved. So I will say they have great customer service!!! Aside from that the equipment is great! I love my mic I'm currently borrowing I can't wait to purchase it!
As some one who doesn't have the money for expenses pedals this service is awesome. I love guitar pedals and to be able to try out pedals that I normally couldn't is fantastic!! Great service.
Having dealt with gear rental providers local to Austin I have a prospective on the overall takeaway that the experience can in some cases be not only a hassle with some of the providers, but also an obstacle course of red tape to just utilize the service. NOT the case with Buy Or Borrow Music! I was able to within minutes sign up for the service, provide my payment details and press enter, and less than a weeks time the team had my first Pro teir piece of gear in my hands and plugged in! It was so much easier and reasonable to have the team over at B.O.B.M. ship the gear I want to try out than go through a hassle of outrageous security deposits and proof of identification in triplicate just to rent a pedal to jam with. And the team has your satisfaction in mind, I put in to borrow for a piece of gear that got delayed by the carrier and the team reached out as soon as they bad become aware of the issue and made sure I had a piece of gear from my list on the way so I wouldn't be left in the lurch for any reason. BuyOrBorrow has been absolutely fantastic. I was able to get used to a SP 404 before deciding on purchasing. Great way to test stuff before dropping the big bucks. Highly recommended to any musician. Great customer service too. Cancel some TV subscriptions and go with this instead.
I've been using Buy or Borrow Music since... a year ish? Anyway I have been able to use quite a few things and enjoyed all of it, sometimes I like the gear I try, and use it often, and other times I find I don't like or don't use it that often, so I just send it back! That's saved me so much money on gear. Currently I'm in the process of purchasing an MPC One through them and it's been the easiest, most customer centric, awesome experience I've had with a business. And since then I've had a gig come up, I wanted to have a new piece of gear by that gig and they're working their hardest to get it to me in time for the gig. What a team!
BoBMusic is a wonderful company with great products and support. I really enjoy trying new pedals and gear, but my wallet rarely allows me to purchase high-end instruments. BoB makes things reachable for me.
