From hating exercise to loving it
I have been with these guys for nearly 6 months. I started with the mindset of “I need a trainer and coach because I hate working out and need someone to keep me motivated”. Well, since I’ve started, I’ve lost nearly 25lbs and 9% body fat. I’ve gained some muscle mass but my overall body composition and strength are both way better. I eat well and I feel energized most days. My coach checks in with me regularly and is really helpful and easy to connect with. I can’t recommend Beyond Fitness enough. A Perfect Coaching Solution for Me
I joined Beyond Fitness after seeing an ad on Instagram, and, having looked at a few options, thought I would give it a try. I figured if they were reaching out to healthcare professionals, they would need a solid product to offer (we can usually smell a scam).Coach Jake and Beyond have been exactly what I want in a coach — I need the accountability, the technique, and the advice in a way that matches my schedule and demands. I really appreciate that I can follow a lot of the plan on my own time and at home, but have a coach an email or text away. I've taken my strength training further than with any former trainer. The use of online forms is something I like. It is helpful to track my progress and Coach Jake uses it effectively to provide feedback at our check-ins - he is paying attention and I appreciate the personal service. Even when I'm a bit skeptical, I trust the process and lean into it and he's always been right.I've been a client for 4 months now, and I have been able to do things I've never thought possible as a former fat guy: I'm lifting weights; I have muscle definition; I'm eating well and not overthinking it; and my overall fitness performance has improved dramatically - I just cut 25 minutes from my marathon time!I would strongly consider BF if you want a coach, but don't want the harassment of a personal trainer at the gym. It's also a good fit if you are a busy professional and need flexibility with scheduling workouts. I would say it's a supportive coaching environment.Let's talk cost: It's a decent investment. It's less than what I would spend at a HIIT gym if I wanted any sort of personal training. Remember you're getting weekly coaching sessions (and more frequent touchpoints with the check-ins). Costs are also inline with other online coaches I've seen. Like any investment, YOU get out of it what you put INTO it. If you follow their plan, you will be successful!

My coach Jake has been wonderful.- clear and open communication at the outset in identifying goals and coming up with a roadmap & plan together. - always open to answering questions and explaining his thought process so I understand why we are doing what we are doing — overall this helps me to stay motivated !- weekly check ins via video are helpful and useful. Including doing feedback on form videos that I upload directly into the app during my workouts (easier than emailing them!- flexibility in changing workouts quickly if they aren’t working. Also love that there is an app so it takes the thinking out of lifting routines!So far my experience has been awesome with beyond fitness. I recommend to anyone who values good communication, sustainability, and efficiency in achieving your fitness goals!

I have worked with several nutrition coaches over the years, but Beyond Fitness has been the best by a huge margin. I have had better progress than I ever have before, and I feel like their approach is way more sustainable. Coach Dawson Blades provided accountability and helped me track a number of metrics. I wish I had done it years ago. My coach Jake has been extremely attentive to all aspects of my training. Both nutrition and in the gym. Even with my nutrition even I don’t understand a certain aspect, he explained the reasoning and I decided to trust his process. And I’m glad I did. Beyond Fitness has exceeded my expectations...this is a very thorough fitness program everyone should try out!Intake Session/Signing up: Owner Kade is a breeze to work with and made the process to sign up super easy. The person you see on social media is the person you get to talk to. He is super real and genuine and he has your best interest at heart when it comes to your fitness and health goals. I felt like I was talking to a friend already about my fitness goals and that made it very comfortable to sign up. In addition, the time between first inquiring about his program to the intake session was very fast, maybe a day or two! Tracker: This is what sold me when Kade showed me at my intake session...the tabs to keep track of your macros, body measurements, progress photos, example meal plans, and it being accessible via phone or computer is by far the smartest and most thorough thing about it. The only critique I have about the tracker is that everything is broken down by week # and dates and they are a little off between the different tabs so it gets confusing to really know what week I'm on and if my measurements are counting towards the upcoming week or the previous one. However, that is so minor.Fitness app for workouts: The app they use is super easy to use to keep track of your progress every week. In addition, after every workout, the app will tell you how many of a certain animal you lifted as a fun sense of accomplishment. For example, it might say "congrats! you lifted 674 Corgi dogs this workout!" In addition, the app has form videos, a place for you to upload form videos to show your coach for feedback, and a messaging function so you can text your coach. Super easy and fun to use! Coach: They ask you what kind of accountability and personality you are looking for and pair you up with the best fit coach. For me, it was a perfect fit...Coach Blades is the man! I'm a fitness nerd and Coach Blades is so knowledgable that when he is reviewing my weekly feedback form, he will include studies or references to explain how I can improve my fitness and nutrition habits. In addition, he quick to provide feedback after you submit your weekly form so you are prepared for the upcoming week's habits and accountability. There was a moment in my training when I needed an adjustment to his communication for personal reasons and he completely met me where I was at. He was still able to deliver accountability and constructive feedback in a effective way with that a slight adjustment that I needed, I was very grateful for that.Cost: It's affordable with fixed and monthly options that fit your budget. It's reasonably priced compared to other online fitness programs I have experienced and you get more bang for your buck for Beyond fitness!What they say they will provide is what you get. You can get bloodwork done (like I did) which added another layer of thoroughness, the tracker is so organized and easy to navigate, and the different types of check in forms really make you feel that your coach is paying attention to your journey with them by asking appropriate questions as time goes on. It's clear they want to teach you the skills to reach your fitness goals and spread their knowledge and resources. They have a really cool fitness business, one to replicate for sure! It’s been a great experience have…
It’s been a great experience having Dawson coach me so far, I’m just over 10 weeks in and it’s the most consistent I have been for a long time with a lot of things, I’m getting stronger week by week, foods been well adjusted, training has been well adjusted and best of all Coach Dawson really listens to your feedback and works from that, making sure all aspects of the program are sustainable as well as being efficient, very impressed so far.
