Terrible experience
Ordered a paint set at the beginning of December as a Christmas present. Payment taken but no notification of delivery. 10 days later I chase with an email and get no reply. A week later a second email also gets no reply. The phone number did not connect on multiple attempts and the live chat did not work. Eventually I received an automated email on Christmas day saying they did not have the stock and I'd get a refund. The only silver lining is I gave up in time to get the present elsewhere. Terrible experience. Do not use them for anything that matters or expect any help from customer services.

They hide unfavourable reviews from their site
I bought some large canvases which were ok, but not the best quality. I decided to leave a review on their site - I returned to the site today and looked at the same product but they haven’t published my review. Clicking around the site and looking at other ratings, they seem to only publish reviews that show the products in a positive light! So - buyers beware.BTW- the canvases were large ones with stretcher bars across the back and when I painted on them, the canvas was too loose and so indented where the brush marks went. And one arrived torn. As they were so cheap I thought I’d just put it down to experience and leave a review to help other customers understand what kind of quality the product was.

I used arteza often, I’ve been a good customer spending a fair amount of money, however my bf bought several things from them for me at Christmas and the half pan metal box of 12 colours were missing 3 colours , 3 other colours were replicated, after emailing them, no response, chat on their website proved useless! They absolutely don’t give a 💩! I’ll shop elsewhere from now on.

My last two orders were allegedly delivered. They were not. They use Amazon Logistics for delivery who do not take photos of where they leave parcels or send any tracking information. Called arteza (talked to Giavani and John) had the most horrible conversation and interactions with both (despite this not being the normal customer service level) where I was told that I need to provide proof from Amazon logistics regarding the delivery of the products or stop buying from them. So logic being, you pay more than other competitions for the products, and then are to be accused by way of rudeness and insinuations that you are lying because they use a delivery service which does not track parcels and does not take proof/photo of delivery nor do they send delivery emails (arteza probably choose the cheapest delivery option). So I lose 2 hours of my life, feel beyond horrible and have my evening destroyed because I chose to spent £32 to buy canvases from them. They did refund the orders, they always do, but are not worth the humiliation and the chance of coming across these two representatives.

Great quality paints
Great quality paints. I have recently purchased the Watercolours. They are of a very high grade and a little goes a long way. Arteza are always my go to for art supplies. I don't not use any other brand. I would definitely recommend. Postage is super quick and they arrived in no time. I loved the watercolours so much I bought the metallic set.

Brilliantly priced, but the “artists quality pencils” melt with any contact to water or varnish which they are absolutely not meant to do, and i’ve never known any other coloured pencils do this. The colour is really rich though which is good. Wouldn’t bother with the bigger box sets though as lots of colours are very similar.

Beware the manipulation of reviews on the Arteza website
I have bought from Arteza a few times. Some products are very good quality (matt watercolours, acrylics) some are not (fineliners, metallic watercolours, oil pencils). My issue though is how they handle the product reviews on their website. I tried 3 times to leave a 2 star review for their oil pencils. Every time I got a success message but then when I checked, the review did not post. Contacted Arteza 3 times to tell them, so they could investigate if they have a technical issue. Other than telling me to try again they ignored my messages. I believe they could be filtering their website reviews to only post the more positive ones, giving buyers a false impression. So check for reviews elsewhere before buying.

Not happy won’t buy again
I do think Arteza has good products for a good price, but have some issues. I ordered a set of 60 alcohol markers and 7 were already dried out. I went ahead and decided to order their professional watercolors for my daughter’s birthday when I paid for my shipment it said I would have my products in one week. I was okay with that because it was before my daughter’s birthday, but now it says I won’t Arrive until a week after. I didn’t say anything when the markers came with some dried out, but buying twice and it being bad both times well guess I should stop hoping for something better. I just really hope everything shows up and are useable not dried out.

Like several others have said processing and shipping is horrible. They get your money and don’t ship items that show as being in stock. If it’s not in stock refund me instead of telling me it’s “processing” to keep my money.

I order from Arteza on a fairly regular basis (a few times a year), and i’ve honestly never experienced such incredible customer service in my life. the quality of the products is usually very high, but a few times when there has been a manufacturing issue like a damaged pen or pencil, or even just when a pen has run out of ink a bit earlier than expected, Arteza have immediately issued a whole new set free of charge, no questions asked! the agents on the website chat are always super friendly and helpful, and it’s this that ensures i come back to order from them time and time again. i always know 100% that if there’s an issue they will sort it quickly and politely with no cost to me. i absolutely love this company!

I finally got my HUGE 48x36 canvases (pack of 5) in and one of them was damaged beyond repair, and another one was scratced up and the frame dented and these things are expensive, called customer service right away, and they are sending me a NEW 5 pack of canvases YAY! Arteza customer service is fantastic. She was quick, very kind, and very helpful, I'm so mad I forgot her name! would recommend Arteza, and I will be buying from them in the future. :D

Disappointing quality
I ordered the item. When I received it I was so disappointed with it. I returned it immediately via Hermes but have yet to receive any communication or refund. I most definitely would not use this company again. However I would recommend that you avoid using this company if you require a modicum of customer service.
