Pathetic Service and Even Worse Follow-up
If I can give lower than 1 star I will give. This company is such a SCAM. The entire process was absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL, the coordinator never talked to me at any point and i only had the option to leave a msg with an admin and get an email back after multiple attempts. Not only most of my items were received completely ruined and damaged, they gave me 10 days to go though all my inventory and file a claim and then took 10 weeks to process paperwork to finalize the claim which was calculated to shows that I OWE $205.40 to the company. I paid EXTRA $$ for packaging my valuables. The packaging was so unprofessional, like shoving garbage in boxes. I literally received some of my furniture broken in 2 to 3 pieces. This includes dining chairs, glass coffee tables and accent chairs that were received damaged beyond repair. I am attaching pictures that I submitted in my claim. I wonder how someone in a sound mind can charge extra for packaging and then damage the items and then take No Responsibility and Not compensate.Furthermore, the company took weeks just to provide a consolidated receipt of service, multiple receipts provided with incorrect numbers. The company also charged me for transportation of my car which they took in cash and then sub contracted to another company and taking NO responsibility for delivery.The company also charged me additional $$ to deliver my furniture to upper level to my bedroom.Everything was charged before any service was provided. I paid a total of almost $12,000 for the moving to this company....Yet i received the WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE.ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

My only recommendation is DO NOT use this service keep your money giving it to this company is a total waste of money for which they provide little service. Also the moving company they dispatch the move to is not much better. Check out movers on your own in your local area who can do Long Distance moves and provide a more accurate estimates as to number and types of items to be moved, special packing, storage availability and delivery times. I should have been more diligent with an out of state relocation. Live and learn. That is why this company has a below 4 rating. On a scale of one to ten they a one and a half, 10 being the best. Recent relocation from New York to Florida. I only hope that this one bad review will maybe effect a certain number of people to avoid these types of companies.

WARNING!!! AVOID!!! They will provide you with a great quote and then show up and try to charge you way more. I started out at $4200.00 then I did the review again before the move and they increased the price to $5500.00 I thought that would at least be safe, they showed up and wanted $11,000.00 to move me. They said I had way more stuff than what was quoted. Of course, I said I cannot pay this much I don't have it. So they tried to find another mover to do it for cheaper and they cam e back to me at $9000.00 on top of my $800.00 deposit. I explained I cannot afford it as I don't have the money for this. Of course they said ok if you reject the offer we are keeping your deposit. So I lost $800.00 and had to rent a truck and move it myself. Now mind you my original quote was for 1200 cubic feet and after the movers showed up they said it was 2300 cubic feet and that's why my price went up so much. So the original quote was almost 100% off. You would think they would have an idea when you provide a detailed inventory. They do not know what they are doing. To make matters worse, I packed all of my belongings in a 26ft truck to approximately 1700 cubic feet. So after the movers did a visual inspection of all my belongings they tried to over charge me on the spot by 600 cubic feet and not give me my deposit money back. This company tried to put me in a corner on a day that I planned to have everything done. Thankfully I was able and prepared to say no and had the time to make other arrangements. Most people do not have the option and they have to get the move done that day. I cannot imagine how many people have been taken advantage of by this company. Very disappointed with the experience. The lease they could have done was give me my deposit back since they completely missed the mark on the original and updated estimates. Their contracts are set to take advantage of you. Do not give them a deposit and I would recommend that you only work with a company that does a visual inspection of your goods and provides options if they are going to increase they charge for any reason. Be careful out there, apparently a lot of these small movers operate this way.

I booked a move with a $750 deposit with Paul Levine On April 11th, 2025 for my daughter who was starting a new job. He was very responsive and accommodating and told me they could deliver her things in the first two days of May. I missed some she had for the move so contacted to add the items I missed and expected to add to the price. They were again very accommodating. Then I looked again at the contract and there was no specified delivery date. I called on April 14th and 15th, no one answered on the 14th and on the 15th the woman said they have a 21 day delivery window – its in the fine print paragraph 8. I texted Paul directly and it took him two days to respond. When I made the deposit, I was told they could meet my delivery needs until the after cancelation time then it was we can’t guarantee anything. I immediately told them that was not what I agreed on and I could not do the move that way. This was NOT what I agreed to.

If I could give negative infinity stars I would. These robbers took my money and then bait and switched - they were not the company that performed my move, another company - another 3rd rate scam - in Las Vegas "Streamline" Movers - nothing streamlined about them - horrible - rude, and called me - the customer a liar. Tried to extort money from me for more money - charging me over 1600 for 10 boxes ???? I would never have contracted for them to move from UT to CO with just 10 medium boxes- I was very clear: 1 bedroom, including a mountain bike, clothes and camping gear apartment. My things were trashed- smashed and clearly moved and actually ripped open to see what was inside the boxes, it looked like someone threw my stuff around in a warehouse prior to throwing in their rented truck. I was very clear on my pickup date and the items (no large furniture- no mattresses, couches or anything large) - when they arrived a day early the mover accused me of being a "Liar" and threatened to leave - I said go then - if you think only 10 boxes ....then he got on the phone with these clowns "Alliance Van Lines" and all of the sudden different tune 60 items total - that was correct but continued to call me a liar and then expect me to give a "tip" - oh sure extort more money from me for calling me a liar- I was super honest and upfront with my items. What a complete scam. Then the delivery date - they said with in a day or two when I booked - but then when I called this company alliance - they said 1o business days and then to call "dispatch" which was the other company - "Streamline". They never picked up - I tried all menus multiple times and no one answered my calls - they even screened my calls from the main number - Alliance Van lines has zero customer service, they take your money and then hire a third party company - you are not hiring them - you are hiring a third rate company that treated my stuff like it was trash and garbage- everything was beat up- broken - and boxes completed pierced - and ripped- luckily I packed my own items well and nothing was smashed- broken inside. Upon arrival - albeit not a business day but on a Sunday - they stacked my items with heavier items on top, I just wanted them gone and spent hours reorganizing my things. I even had wire racks from Costco, the wheels all bent and the rack tops were broken so I could not assemble them again. Never use this company if you have super valuable items and have any chance of getting the company to take care of them—they treated my items like trash and had zero respect for me as a paying customer. Oh and before they take and give your items (that you have paid and worked hard for) they want CASH only - upon pick up and delivery. So basically no matter what condition the items arrive in - you won't know until you receive them and inspect, by then they are already gone - ripping off another customer. they used stickers that were on my items- so as they were unloading - I said can we go through the inventory and the delivery guy just laughed- hahaha no idea - and just kept throwing my stuff in storage with no rhyme or reason. This is also not typical - don't you want to go through inventory and make sure all your items are accounted for - it is just an exercise in futility for this company. Terrible experience- never hire if you value your items and your sanity. Move on and hire a real company or just move it yourself - forget these robbers and save your money - the worst moving experience of my life. I moved many states- countries and never had my items treated so badly and with such bad communication. DO NOT USE this company at all costs if you want your items and valuables white gloved or even a semblance of care- they are bottom basement company.

I’m a retired nurse after 32 years of service.I moved from Winnipeg to BC.When the company came to pick up my stuff in May 28 2024. The mover asked me 75$ in cash to disassemble my bed.He said this is the only fee I have to pay and he will put it back in BC.On May 30th 24, the company called me and said “ I have to be in BC to get my stuff on Sunday. And the mover wanted to be paid 2 days prior the delivery date. I asked can I have my stuff for storage? They said no because I didn’t not pre book. I paid Jun 30th. I called my realtor got the locksmith open my condo in BC, got the keys. I paid 262.50$ for the locksmith. The realtor gave the key to my cousin so she could open the door to the movers. Then the company called back after they took the payment. They said the delivery would be June 3rd. So I think I would have enough time to get to B.C. for the delivery. Because my cousin is working on Monday and the plan was for her to open the door on Sunday. On Jun 3rd there was no delivery. On June 4th, I called the company said June 11th. I told them that I begged them to give me more time but they said no. I wished they just told me the delivery date is June 11th that would make my life a lot easier. I didn’t have to sleep on the floor for the whole week with a minimum of clothes on my suitcase. On June 9th, the mover called they said they would deliver on June 10th. On the 10th, they wanted 100$ to put my bed back. I had no choice I had to pay them, because I am a senior I can’t put the bed back myself. I had a small safe. I opened it and showed the mover it was empty. I asked him should I lock it or unlock? He said lock it! So I did. After the delivery, I checked the safe is broken cannot open it. I called the locksmith and asked the price to fix it. They said to open it cost 397$ not fixing it. I thanked them and said I should throw my safe and buy a new one is cheaper because it is empty anyway.I wrote the note for people want to use your company to avoid the problem in your company. This is honestly, reliable company.

PHEMOMENAL EXPERIENCE! I found out about my move 3 weeks before I had to be out of my home! My anxiety level was through the roof, I had not done a state to state move in over 30 years, I spoke to Paul(I thought he may be a distant cousin), and after speaking with him for a few minutes, he immediately put my mind at ease! Paul was professional, and obviously experienced, and most of all her truly understood what I was dealing with in regard to my anxiety! He spent close to an hour with me on the phone if not longer, and he not only answered all my questions, but his professionalism and knowledge far exceeded my expectations! From that point he responded any and all of my questions and concerns, as well he was available for all my follow calls(believe there were many), and he even provided me an after hours text line so if I had a question at anytime he was available!Their customer service team was AWESOME! THANK YOU AGAIN Jennifer for being so patient with many many questions!The guys arrived, looked through everything before putting one item on the truck, and once they went through everything, they loaded my stuff on the truck, and I wasn't charged a dollar more(thank god for the inventory call 3 days before because i had a few extra items to add)!The items were delivered quickly, and Paul explained the time frame honestly, and did not make promises he could not keep!Also the guys had traffic issues when delivering my stuff, but always called to let me know they were behind!My company reimbursed me for the move, and when I explained how great my experience was they are now using Paul from Alliance exclusively, and my sister is moving as well and has used Alliance Van Lines as well!! Do yourself a favor, and use Alliance Van Lines for all your moves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I set up a last minute move
I set up a last minute move. I was given a quote and during pick up and delivery was given a more expensive price. I was told i had to pay extra for gas and tolls. The men were less than helpful during pick with my questions regarding space and packing concerns for my more fragile pieces which they said would be put in crates. Upon delivery multiple items were broken and lost hardware to put different pieces of furniture back together. Customer service gave me the run around until the actual delivery and did not note any of my concerns in the file. Now they are telling me I incurred additional costs for space according to the men that showed up. It's all hear say. The actual inventory was vague. I would not recommend nor use this company or any company they suggest again

I havent even moved yet and can get no customer service to get answer regarding the move the sales rep.Gary S. will not respond to emails and their customer service people are rude I am a senior citizen already stressed by this move and seem to beforgotten once the deposit was made. Also, pay close attention to the "binding estimate" as that is the charge for them preparing the estimate of $2250.30 the customer service rep stated this when I questioned it.
