I Had to Sue for Overcharging, Loss of Property, Damages and Legal Fees…
This is the continuing saga to get compensation from this absolutely horrible company. I will start if off by saying as I did earlier - DO NOT IN ANY WAY USE THIS COMPANY. Not only was the actions of the company contemptible, their response to y lawsuit is about to have the in contempt of court orders.
As stated in my prior review, they basically threw me under the proverbial bus by providing an estimate for my move of approximately $18,000 and then increased it to $54,000 on the day of the move (at a time my house was sold and I was required to be out in two days per the contract), the main sub-contractor then absconded with the $11,500 due to the trucking subcontractor, requiring me to pay that further $11,500 before they would deliver my goods that were sitting in the sun outside a storage unit.
Over $4,000 of goods were damaged or lost.
So, I have sued them for over $56,000 and have a judgement against them for the claimed amount. They never participated in the hearings nor have responded to any of the court required provision to supply documents or other information. At this point, and in short order a order of contempt will be issued against them where in they will be fined and/or arrested for contempt. Whether they like it or not, I will not let up on collecting all that this due to me and they will pay one way or the other.
What a horrible experience this had been. Don’t ever be fooled by them and never use this organization and they are completely corrupt to highest degree.

DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE : All American Moving group. It has been almost a year since they scammed me for 15 THOUSAND DOLLARS. They were so nice and informative till they got my money. They will not respond on my calls, letters nothing. They never even moved me after I found out the Trucking company they put me with Arrow Trucking /Roadrunner had lost there license to move home goods in Sept 2024. Please beware and I will keep fighting to get my hard earned money back. How dare them steal from a Senior. UPDATE: I called and actually talked to someone, of course they say they can't give out the Accounting / Billing number and to email them instead, funny I did this in Jan, Feb and other months and never get a reply., BEWARE. I wished I could report that they refunded me but we know that will go. :( Hoping KARMA gets them ALL>

DO.NOT.USE this company - SCAM - ZERO STARS
I found All American via a reputable site that does moving comparisons.
Before my move, I talked to a few different reps for All American and went over what was being moved in detail. I was quoted $3500 for the move with $1700 being paid upfront. I did a little research (NOT ENOUGH) and decided to go with them.
A week before the move, I again talked to a rep and added a few additional items to the list. I was told unequivocably that there was plenty of room for all my items and the quote was still valid.
The movers were supposed to arrive on July 27, 2025 between 10am – 2pm with a call 30 minutes before arriving. They never showed or even called to let me know. After making several calls to find out the status, I was told that they had another move that day, that they would arrive the next morning (July 28th), and that I would be prioritized.
Again on July 28th, they did not show or call to inform me. I again had to call to find out the status and was told that they would arrive on July 29th. These 2 no-shows caused me to miss 2 days of work.
After this, I started doing a further dive on the company - REALLY wish I had done a deeper dive before hiring. I saw dozens of reviews that stated they are basically a bait and switch company and after movers arrived, the price would be raised exponentially above what was quoted. I was hopeful that this would not be the case for me, but after what I saw, I pretty much expected it.
Sure enough, the movers did arrive on July 29th - in a rented Penske truck - and told me there was not enough room for all my items. They quoted a new price of almost $6,000. After haggling about this for awhile, I rejected their new terms and asked them to leave.
There were 41 items on the move list, and I only had 31 (and all within the size limits agreed to). This was an obvious bait and switch move that they are apparently known for.
After I asked them to leave, I immediately called All American to request a refund and was told I had to contact Customer Service via email for this. I did send their Customer Support an email on July 29th to which they responded that I had more items than I disclosed and that their obligations were met; however, they stated that to request a refund, I needed to email their Billing Department. I did send two emails to their Billing Department requesting a refund. The last email was sent on July 31st. Neither of those emails was responded to.
As stated above, it is not true that I had more items than was disclosed… all items were disclosed and were listed.
This is a scam company who will give you a low estimate to hook you, jack it up when the movers arrive and then keep your deposit.
I was lucky that I was able to rent a U-Haul and perform the move myself with help of friends. Many others have to be out immediately and don't have that luxury. They are forced to pay the extra and All American knows this. SCAM!

Horrible Experience
Horrible experience by people WHO WILL take advantage of you.
A complaint (DOT/FMCSA #100301949) has been filed regarding my recent interstate move from Florida to North Carolina, brokered by All-American Moving Group LLC and executed by Sunshine National Movers LLC. The move occurred between July 17–19, 2025, and involved multiple violations of the binding estimate, lack of proper documentation, and damage to my property (offering a miniscule settlement amount of $88).
They put on an act up front acting like they care, will be there if you have questions, need help etc. BUT disappear once your non-refundable payment to them clears. They will make fake/false promises (like a guaranteed pickup or delivery date), give you a “low ball” quote so you go with them (only to have the actual moving company charge you more because All American (as a broker) purposefully under-estimated the number of cubic feet you will need). They just check off some boxes on an inventory list and provide you with a low estimate.
When the actual movers (Sunshine National Movers) did show up, they argued about the space available in the truck and provided a new estimate (double the original estimate). This was after material was already on the truck. The original estimate was 1160 CF, and due to poor/inefficient loading, did not have enough space on the 26-foot truck to load everything, requiring me to make other arrangements for the balance.
How does an original estimate of $6,000 go to $15,000? Even now, after unloading everything into a 2-bedroom apartment, I question how my small amount of goods could possibly fill a 26-foot truck!! Terrible/inefficent packing!

Horrible experience by people WHO WILL take advantage of you. They put on an act up front acting like they care, will be there if you have questions, need help etc. BUT DISAPPEAR once your non-refundable payment to them clears (they are paid first - and watch out for the additional 5% credit card charge they don’t tell you about until payment time).
They will make fake/false promises (like a date your furniture will arrive), give you a “low ball” quote so you go with them (only to have the moving company look to charge you more because All American purposefully under estimates the #of cubic feet you will need), don’t tell you how the moving process unfolds (like the moving company chosen actually has 21 business days to deliver, they have added fees YOU WILL have to pay (elevator fee, warehouse fee, 75 feet from door fee). Overall terrible experience/company!

Very Poor Cost Estimating - Substandard Contract Mover
We ended up going ahead with AAMG as we were tight up against the closing on our house. They did manage to get a subcontracted carrier to come and get our goods in time but that is why a they are getting 2 stars instead of a single star rating.
There was an adjustment to the original estimate once I got a more detailed estimate to AAMG. That was considering everything a higher cost than what I had for a professional moving group that did my prior move from WA to ID. This move was about the same distance with even less stuff. Subcontracted mover showed up on time with a 30 foot truck. Crew was from Southern CA and proceeded to load. We were allocated 1450 cu ft which was supposed to include all our household furniture, and a majority of my prepacked totes, boxes, and tools.
They loaded out only parts of two conex boxes, which were not even close to fully packed as I had already pulled several U-Haul trailer loads over. The cu ft allocation was reached before even getting close getting the number of totes detailed in the estimate. Not one piece of home furniture, etc. from the house was even loaded in. Mover came to me an said we're full. They wanted another $12K to get the rest of the household goods that they were contracted to carry and they would have to bring another truck up from SoCal to finish the move. I said no, I'll move the rest myself. The mover ended up piling things into wardrobe boxes with no concern for breakage/damage, etc. I specifically told the driver (who was the only one who spoke English very well) not to pack my case of propane bottles and a few other items that had specific warning labels in order to prevent any DOT HazMat violations in shipping. They packed those items into wardrobe boxes. Clearly this was a very untrained packing crew.
The delivery date originally agreed to was slipped as the mover said 7-10 days delivery (to go 330 miles!). On the receiving end, there were a number of industrial grade poly totes that were damaged due to rough handling.
So I ended up having to finish packing and loading the household goods into a 26' U-Haul and driving that across to our new destination at a very significantly lower lost (including the car carrier I had to get as I couldn't leave my vehicle behind.
I cannot recommend this company as they are only a broker that does seem to audit their subcontracted movers. I was never given copies of packing manifests prior to their departure and it took several weeks to get copies of basic paperwork from the subcontracted movers. Oh, the other thing that was annoying is the prepayment 50% to AAMG and then 25% of the cost in CASH to the subcontracted driver upon pickup and 25% balance in CASH on delivery. NEVER had that happen in any other move in my life.
I have also filed a complaint with Federal DOT for several issues regarding this move. In several other mover review sites including BBB, this company needs to change the way they do things or be put out of business. I'm surprised there hasn't been a class action lawsuit against this company with the amount of complaints I have now retrospectively seen.

Bait and Switch
This company advertises a false business relationship with Pods Storage. When we called a phone number off Google that was advertised as Pods, we were told there are no containers available and then transferred to their "sister company", All American Moving Group. There was no disclosure prior to any contract signing that this company was only a broker. In fact, I was told that they have their own trucks that they use for moves if for any reason they cannot book a mover. Looking up their DOT number, you can see they have a fleet of 0. There are also multiple complaints along the same line of my experience, as well as the moving companies demanding more payment than agreed and holding your items hostage.
They require a large up front deposit that can be paid via credit card. However, after doing so and signing the contract, the payment method then turns to cash only. After the contract is signed, they no longer will communicate with you and tell you only their customer service team can speak with you. However, when you call the phone number at 866-618-9360, it's an offshore team that then tells you they cannot discuss your move.
No actual moving company was booked and no inventory was confirmed. When I canceled the move on 04/08/2025, both in writing and over the phone, the only contact info I was given was billing@movingld. When I demanded a refund of the deposit, Alisa Moore with their billing group refused to do so on 04/15/2025. I have sent emails on 04/15/2025, 04/24/2025, 05/02/2025, and today on 05/13/2025, all requesting a supervisor get back to me after reviewing my request. Per their contract, you have the right to have a supervisor review upon escalation, however, I have been ignored thus far.

Deceptive sales tactics and pure lie
I was deceived by a sales representative who claimed that he was a manager. Told me that we would be able to get our deposit back if the move had to be cancelled, which was a lie. Then when told by the billing department this isn't tru, I explained that my contract said a manager could approve the cancellation. Then told that the sales rep, Robert, isn't actually a manager but just a sales rep. I was extremely clear from day 1 that my move was dependent on a potential job opportunity which sadly fell through and now I'm out my job and a deposit. Completely deceptive sales tactic, rude customer service, and preyed on a hard life situation to fraud me out of my deposit.
Edit: I will remove this post if the deposit is returned. So if this post is still here it means the “internal review” of what they claim was a “miscommunication” didn’t actually yield a change. This wasn’t a case of miscommunication it was clearly stated to me that he was the manager and that I’d be able to get my deposit back.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience and the confusion surrounding your deposit and the role of our sales representative.
We take claims of miscommunication seriously and are currently reviewing the situation internally. While our deposit policy is typically non-refundable, we understand the unique circumstances and will take a second look.
We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to make this right.
Moving was a nightrmare
the fiirst step was to find a carrier. I called several carriers and found out not everyone comes to Idaho. So I got a referral to call All American Movers. We set up the move and made the deposit. Now they moved to Long Distance moves to move my things, and they wanted a more money. the day of the move we got a 2 member team. They loaded some items and told me to get cash because they didnt take cards or checks. Since they said they would take a cashers check, but not from the bank had to be from the post office which in turn does not make checks for the amount I was asking for. as they load items things started to get broke. Dispatcher gave me a name and number to make a claim, I called and he had never heard of AAM. long story short do not use AAM or D United Logistics moving n strorage inc. out of woodland hills ca.

All of these other reviews are fake
All of these other positive reviews are fake. Do NOT work with this company. They take your stuff, keep telling you your stuff is on the way, then stop responding. We were told so many different times who our drive would be and it was all lies. We were moving from Texas to Utah and waited about a month to get our stuff (but not from them). Turns out, the man who was asked to drive the truck (after multiple different people were our “drivers” with our stuff got a hold of us and told us that Avi, the man in charge, wanted to pay him some and then have him charge us more when he delivered. And that didn’t sit right with him. We eventually were able to, with his help, go find our stuff in a storage unit in our hometown that had never moved and realized we were told lies from the beginning about when it was coming. We were out all the money they charged (which was far more than we were quoted to begin with) and because of the wording in the paperwork about no date guarantee for delivery, there’s not we could do. But spare yourself the trouble. I do believe we would’ve gotten our stuff eventually but at what cost and in what condition I’m not sure.

I was taken for $42000.00
I was taken for $42000.00. When all was said and done they had ruined the workings of the grandfather clock my husband and I
built, broken several 90 year old dishes, I had to repair small tables and a antique magazine rack, and a glass shelf for the china hutch. The office desk was damaged also.
Several tools missing, a battery weed eater, battery opoerated hedge trimmer, a very large 6 foot copper pipe, battery operated edger,
I have not finish unpacking everythig yet. There may be more.
I feel like a fool. I had researched and saw the rating as 5 star company.
That dissapeared and what I found was others with the same story.
The team sent to move me was spanish and spoke little english. Go figure.
Help.....
Thank you for being there for me again. It doesn't look good and I may have a very expensive lesson learned. When reviewing them again I found others with the same story

Berated by sales depart
I asked for a quote and then the called everyday to get an update. I finally made a decision to go with another company the worked best with my needs. As a courteousy I called them to let them know I went with another company. The man on the phone said "why do you people waste our time". I work in customer service and I would never say that to a customer. Needless to say - he continued to berate me and I had to hang up on him

Initial estimate was around ~$10k, and final price was over $25k. They did not send anyone out to do the estimate. Every time we talked, the price went up. We gave them a delivery date and location, and the week prior, we were told there would be an additional charge to actually guarantee that date.

Horrible. Do NOT recommend!!!
The entire process was the most unprofessional thing I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Things were delayed by over 4 months, with no reason given. The final delivery was a mess, with them showing up at my apt at 9pm, leaving in the middle of the job and returning the next morning. Plus a box was left forgotten outside in the snow for anyone to steal.
Any time I requested updates throughout the entire process I was met with no response or continued excuses by both the Broker and Carrier companies.
We are seeking a refund claim and of course haven't gotten any responses to our inquiries.
