for those of you that reconsidering in buying wolverine boot thing twice I order a pair of boot return it cause of fitment never received it call wolverine spoke to Aliyah she could help me I ask for her Bose number she refused very rude so now next step
they do not ever give you an order number or an invoice , making it impossible to return the goods
the boots size were way off. they said boots does not qualified for exchange/refund. terrible company. don't waste your time or money
Return, exchange, and refund processing is slow, mishandled, and left incomplete after multiple customer service calls.
Well, first of all, my boots are maybe a month old. The soldier's already fallen off. They were comfortable. An intersol ended up becoming harsh rock. Truly added, nice second boot, but really POS Boots. I will never buy a pair of Wolverine boots. Agaif the soul starts to peel off within less than a month for a pair of $78 boots. That's a joke your boots suck. I will never buy a pair again. I'm not returning them. I'm gonna throw you intic trash,
I ordered a pair of boots from their website. They gave me free overnight shipping. I love my light weight steel toe boots. They are super comfortable.
A month ago I purchased a pair of Wolverine boots for work. They're already coming apart. To say I'm displeased is an understatement. I'm going to take them back to the store, and I'll not ever buy another pair. A similar instance happened several years ago with Wolverine boots. Boots are expensive, and it seems these companies would use the best materials available, but profits matter more I guess.
I'm writing this about their returns/exchange process. I understand some items may not meet expectations but returns and exchange are straight forward at least here in the States, just print out the label they email you, go to a shipping center like the FedEx Store, least that's what I used. Buy an item, and if you don't like it, return it. No harm no foul. Items can not be visibly worn/used of course.Still many great items to be found here, it's truly worth a shot.
I've been purchasing my boots and work clothing from Wolverine for well over a decade, they were good years ago but, unfortunately, nothing lasts and I witnessed a steady decline in both the quality of their boots and the efficacy of their customer service, shipping and other departments. This review is mostly about the last THREE transactions I had with them because all three times they managed to ship me wrong sizes in ALL the pants I ordered, aside from the wrong sizes, they also managed to ship one pair of pants in a color I did not order, a clearly worn vest with no tags and some random trash inside the right pocket, last but not least, they advertised and sold me a pair of shoes called "Bates", with no mention that the shoes they were selling were not made by them and were completely and utterly atrocious. Three times I purchased multiple pairs of pants and all three times they sent me the clothing with sizes in reverse: I'm 34x30 but they sent me 30x34. By the time the clothing got to me they did not have anything to exchange it for so I had to repack everything and waste even more time going to the drop-off point to mail it all back. When I contacted their customer care they were neither helpful nor sympathetic to the problem they created, moreover, they thought it was OK to remind me that "they are wasting money on shipping MY PANTS back and forth and that it's not their fault I didn't know how to use their website". I am not kidding, that's what they told their (formerly) loyal customer after having shipped wrong clothing, in wrong sizes and colors. The "Bates" shoes deserve a special mention because, even though Wolverine quality had gone down to simply unacceptable levels in recent years, still, Bates is just terrible, I can't think of any other way to describe them... They stink of chemicals, look different, despite being the same shoes, are very badly made (one shoe was 0.5 inches shorter than the other one), the shoe laces were synthetic and poorly made, one was shorter than the other and the color was darker... The shoes itself were the biggest letdown: glue only, no stitching, not a single high quality item, very much including insoles, which looked as if they were worn for a decade, refurbished by someone and, flattened and worn out, given to the next customer.I haven't purchased anything else since the pants because the black work shoes I got, comfortable as they may be, collect scratches like it's their duty, they also started falling apart the day I got them and the soles pick up glass and other stuff because they're so soft.I used to love Wolverine because their American-made shoes were a comfortable, better-made alternative to Timberland and many others but they started making them cheaper and cheaper, with less layers and worse leather, now they've stopped making work boots in the USA altogether, they also seem to have only one type of soles with different uppers, which are neither comfortable nor quality made... I also noticed that "Carbonmax", being more expensive than the "composite toe" boots aren't made out of carbon fiber and have the same exact glass-fiber or nylon-fiber material used to make it which, if nothing else, seems to be very misleading! The earlier "Carbonmax" boots did contain real carbon-fiber composite toe, it was ergonomic, ridgid and ESD safe. I'm guessing CFRP is expensive so they quietly changed to glass fiber, probably hoping that no one would notice or care.I've decided not to purchase anything else from Wolverine for a while, maybe even forever. Their pants are cheaply made and tend to fall apart after a single wash, ripping at the seams, their boots are no longer made with any care or innovation and reek of corners cut in the name of maximizing the profits, everything else they sell is either just as bad or worse, however, the worst part seems to be the fact that they neither stand by their product nor care what their customers think about them or if they're satisfied with their purchases. Wolverine used to be one of those companies that commands loyalty because they sold quality merchandise at reasonable prices... Those days are long gone and the current brand doesn't even make it to "subpar".
I want to say how impressed with Wolverine for standing by their product.I had a stitching problem with not 1 but 2 pairs of boots in a 3 moth time period.I went through the proper channels and they warrantied both pair of boots. The second pair is on the way.I spend alot of money on work boots and it's nice to know they got my back. Thanks for being a stand up company
I just started wearing my wolverine boots and the inside material fabric is ripping. Wilderness brand . Purchase a couple of months ago but just started wearing them a week ago, boy if I only knew I should had started wearing them sooner 😠
I have been searching for a man's boot made in USA. Yet I cannot find a customer care contact email to inquire. Frustrating as heck.
Terrible company! I bought a pair of boots on my normal size and they were too big, but I used them for a few hours hoping it would be ok. I realized it would be better to exchange them and they refused to! How could I know their size 9 isn’t the same in every boot models?! I had other size 9 from them before. And they never stop scamming you with emails! At the same time that the customer service ignores you completely. TRASH COMPANY!
Placed a order #W1082293930, 4 days later yet to receive order status, called customer service just to hear " we are out of stock are team is currently looking at dick sports and academy for inventory"...IDK what that mean I thought I was ordering from the source. Straight let down, 511 hear I come!
I bought a pair of Hellcat UltraSpring CarbonMax 8" Workbooks, product number W201177, shipping confirmation #W1052403849. They were delivered to my house about 2 weeks ago. The first week I spent breaking them in by walking around the house and in the yard for a few hours after I got home from work. This past week I began wearing them to work. Everything went well until Friday, when both front soles came loose by about 3/4", and the boots hadn't even been in the water or mud. If this is as long as I can expect Wolverine boots to last, I can't afford to buy them.
"You have successfully unsubscribed from our mailing list. We're sorry to see you go."and yet you send me another email almost instantly; "Welcome to Wolverine! Here's $10 off your first purchase!"I don't freaking care. Leave the spam for others.
My experience hasn't been the best, but the customer service has been so great, they still earn 5 stars. I preordered an item last October that was supposed to ship in November. It was a Christmas gift for my husband. However, by mid-December, it had not arrived. I sent a chat to costumer service, and they quickly responded. I didn't even have to provide information. Since I was already logged in, they immediately looked up my order history and could tell why I was requesting service. They told me the date the shoes were going to ship, which would be more than a month from then. I was disappointed it wouldn't be home by Christmas, but not upset enough to cancel my order so I just let it be. However, two weeks later, customer service sent me a coupon for a free pair of boots. I tested it on a $100 pair of boots, and it rang up $0. That's some quality customer service.
