Stay Away, Far Away, Run don't walk..
I wish there was something less than 1 star to choose, that's more than they deserve. What used to be a great company with actual people that you could talk to on the phone and get issues resolved is now nothing but a complete joke. You cannot get anyone on the phone, chat support is worthless, I don't think anyone there (if there is a "there) knows anything about websites. Please DO NOT waste your time doing business with this company.

I have tried reaching out to support…
I have tried reaching out to support for months now and the only response you ever get is either "we have tried to replicate this issue and couldnt" or "we will get back to you in 1 - 2 business days" both are lies. I have been waiting 6 weeks for the last 1-2 business day reply. I would 1000000% recommend ANY other website provider as you will be completely left alone and hung out to dry with volusion. Could not be a worse website provider honestly.

Too many bugs. Software issues. Down time was in days not minutes. Support teams couldn’t fix anything so I cancelled and switched to another company

I'm being deceived
I have never come across a company that is so suspicious of fraud.I invested a lot of money in the company, and now they won't let me withdraw...They send automatic requests, with amounts that exceed the balance limit, so that you put more money on the platform... making you always have to put more money in and never be able to withdraw... they charged me absurd fines when I delayed automatic requests that appeared on the platform.And even so, they never let me make withdrawals... I have 53k stuck inside the platform, and now they have blocked my account, claiming that they will only unblock it if I make another deposit on the platform of 16K...They have affected my livelihood, my mental health and my finances. If anyone feels the same way, leave a review so that we can stop them from operating. They are the biggest scammers.

Honestly I’ve never come across such a sketchy company like Digital Volusion. I was told I’d be making commissions but found out that they bleed you dry from all your investment and there customer support provide no assistance whatsoever. They have affected my livelihood, my mental health and my finance. If anyone feels the same way please leave a review so we can stop them from operating. They are the biggest scammers.

The worst “company” to ever exist
The worst “company” to ever exist. I’m so lucky I left them and went to Shopify. They are actual crooks. I nearly lost my business because of them. Stay FAR away. Shopify is the only way to go.

MyVolusion has zero customer support
MyVolusion has zero customer support. They cancel your website often and give you no option to login or call. Their service is pathetic...but it's cheap. I hate this company.

I have been a Volusion customer for over a decade--this is how much they value my business--they have locked me out of my own account. I pay them monthly and without issue. Every single time I have to do a password reset, their prompts and system/process does not work and I have to ask for customer support. Usually they provide it...slowly. Now they are refusing to respond to me at all. I cannot conduct business and handle customer requests. I contacted them numerous times this past week...and no help whatsoever.

It's lost its way
What was once the market leader has declined to become the worst ecommerce provider on the market. Volusion has gone stale. They've not evolved with the market, and their system is now outdated and clunky. The rot has been setting in from the top, because whoever is in charge simply doesn't care. Honestly, just sell up, close the thing down, or make some real investments to improve. Make a decision and then do it, because as things currently stand, Volusion is rotting away.

Company charges way too much and not innovative
Company charges way too much and has way too many issues. Had them for years and finally got out. Shipping costs stopped functioning properly for customers and like I have read before payment charges just didn't seem to go through and had a ton of complaints from customers.Switched providers as I just had to and was charged the whole time I was switching. Poor customer service and just seems to be a company holding on and not being innovative.

Please do yourself a favor and go to a different platform for your website. We are stuck with Volusion for processing orders, but wish we never would have started. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I've worked with 10+ different site providers. Do not get started with Volusion Payments, orders have an 80% chance of successfully being captured. The ones that fail they blame on the customer having their card too secure.

Good luck canceling a merchant account that you don't use. They have Zero customer service if you have no active account. We canceled a year ago and they continue to charge. Avoid at all costs!

Have used this platform and through the years it got worse and worse. They will do updates and ends up making a problem on our site. They never fix what they broke. Talking to their tech support is utterly useless, like talking to a wall. Stay away from this dinosaur. I am glad our shopify site is done now. Good Riddance Volusion!

Stay far, far away from this predatory company. They have a salesperson on the phone say you can get a reduced rate on a month trial, but you can’t pay over the phone. You have to go online and pay for your one month. Then....two years later....surprise! They’ve been getting you for $299 a month! “Oh, that was in the terms when you went online an paid for your one month.” Except you didn’t see the terms, because as far as you were concerned, it was just a one month payment, as the guy said on the phone. Sorry! Womp, womp! “Oh, you didn’t get *nothing* for your $7,000. You got our valuable marketing emails in your spam folder!” The kicker is, it literally takes two hours, multiple chats and emails, and a scheduled live phone call with a rep to get them to cancel their free money pipeline.

I would like to echo many others that have had a poor experience with Volusion.Don't go near them with a bargepole is my best advice.The system is so restrictive that many integrations don't work. We had an issue with the checkout failing to complete many orders after months of getting nowhere we moved to Wordpress / WooCommerce.We were paying around £150-£200 per month and after receiving a call they informed us that our fees would raise to £1500 in 2 weeks time. Funny how this occurred just after they filed for category 11 bankruptcy and told everyone not to worry.I guess they don't need to worry on the short-term if they start charging clients 10x as much to make up their losses. It won't last long though, no-one new will join and all existing clients being ripped off will leave.This is a commercial scam, DO NOT JOIN THEIR GAME

outdated, slow and in-flexible. Also lots of hidden charges, auto contract sign ups etc. was with them for a number years until they suddenly charged me $1500pm (normally about $300 pm) which prompted me to exit immediately. They claim the normal standard charge is $2000pm which is simply extortion for this kinda service, then offer ridiculous discount, by the end they offered me $600 pm which was still overpriced.

The only reason I am giving Volusion a second star is due to their customer support team. I have created four websites using Volusion V1 since 2011, and up until a couple of years ago, there were a few issues, but nothing major. The monthly cost is exorbitant running several thousands of dollars every month. They nickel and dime you to death on data, newsletters and Fraud detection. We have cut many of their overpriced services out and run our email trough Google. It's a closed source platform, and there aren't many developers writing third party apps to increase it's limited functionality. It's difficult to get anything to work properly within this platform without it creating a conflict. The over bloated coding is slow and error prone. I've run into issues with product creation and inventory that I would never believe could happen only to be told s that "this is a known issue (bug)" that has existed for years, but they have never been able to correct it. Since they transferred their hosting to Google Cloud services we have had nothing but major headaches and serious problems. Mostly involving payment processing and the SSL certificate. The cart is NOT USER FRIENDLY, and makes the check out process difficult, tedious and error prone even when it does work. For every customer who contacted us reporting an inability to complete their sale I am sure there were at least 50 others that never bothered to notify us. I have had to test the cart many times and if I were a customer I would have left my site and shopped elsewhere. My motto has become "We are using Volusion, and THAT'S why can't have nice things."We have tried to migrate to Shopify, but we have a huge database spanning many years and Volusion was unable to create a functioning order history report that would pull the data from multiple tables within a given date range. I still haven't given up though and plan to migrate as soon as possible once the economy begins to stabilize.
