They say they’ll ship within 24-48 hours. They created a UPS label. After several days of assurances they were going to actually give the package to UPS it never left the facility. Then after one last promise that they were *actually* going to send it to UPS they cancelled this shipment. I had to cancel the order and find a replacement.
In May, I ordered 4 UV lightbulbs for a system that had not been installed in my pool yet. Due to unforeseen delays, the system was not ready for bulbs until August. Since the box was not damaged in any way when it was delivered - I opened it, leaving the packing in place only to confirm the delicate bulbs were in the box and the right number was shipped. When I took them out of the box- they were ALL BROKEN IN HALF IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT. Clearly, something occurred during shipping. Emailed customer service- told me "too bad, outside the window" and offered 15% discount on next offer. Return Policies, I understand. Complete lack of customer service, I do not.
I ordered pond filters for my water fall and pump for koi pond. They emailed stating they were out and wanted to substitute the size I needed for 2 smaller sizes to fit the ones I needed. They refused to cancel my order. Had to contact my credit card company to get assistance in canceling order. Buyer beware.
My experience with this company ,and specifically the owner Dan, has been great. My large swimming pond is a first time endeavor and he has spent hours talking with me on the phone about what and what not to do. I've never had anyone in sales give me this much personal attention before. All of the orders have been promptly shipped and in good order. This company can be trusted. At this point, if I need something pool related I just simply go to them.
Ordered a pond liner and underlay from this company. Order number #26137 Poor customer service to the extent that a manager hung up on husband. They managed to take our money over a week ago. As a manager myself. Customers are not interested in excuses. They are interested in what is happening to their order. Manger should know this, any competent one should. If you have personal problems leave them at home or stay at home and take care of them. Will never deal with this business again.
All too often when a business does well we take our purchase and move on. Underwater warehouse is small enough to get personable attention and even recommendations, on the products they sell. I have even taken that much further and often called directly for Over night deliveries and they have gone out of there way each and every time to get my orders out to me. Wish more businesses would work half as hard to keep you coming back. My build was no small task 12000 gallons two ponds, stream, two bogs and cistern
Dan, the owner of Underwater Warehouse hired our company to build a new website for him. We then proceeded to work for him for 5 months making enhancements afterward. Unexpectedly, Dan charged back all of the money he ever paid us for work already completed, leaving us in financial ruins. Dan is not to be trusted, as we discovered he also did this to the web designer who worked alongside us and the prior web developer before us.
