Toyota certified is a scam

Do not buy 2. hand Toyota Certified Vehicle from Woburn Toyota.I bought one, right before a year end, I have "shift system malfunction" appeared on my dash. A part related to transmission failed. They quoted 1836 dollar to fix it. Even though I have extended power train and hybrit system warranty. My advisor said that failed part is not covered under anything. Which is wrong because when I look it up, other people that have the same failure is repaired under warranty. It's not a brake actuator or ac compressor, it's a part of the transmission and it has to be under warranty. But Toyota Woburn doesn't want to pay for it.But here is the funny part:I asked my advisor that if I had this problem the NEXT DAY I bought the car, would you still charge me 1836 dollar?First he hesitated to answer but when I asked 2. Time, he said yes, I would have to pay. They are nice people, but business is business. So, stay away from 2. hand cars. Toyota certified warranty means nothing on most scenario. Go get it from somewhere else.

I got on the build site then built it

I got on the build site then built it. Then I go to get the suv that I want. They tell me that I have to take what Toyota sends them. Why have a build site if I can't get what I want? Rude dealerships too. They don't want to work to get your business because they know that others will buy what they have. The company is terrible what happened to honor?

Toyota Turkey

Toyota Turkey - Unacceptable Service and Stock Management for Toyota C-HR Passion X-Sport 1.8 HybridWe've been trying to purchase a Toyota C-HR Passion X-Sport 1.8 Hybrid from Toyota Turkey's Istanbul dealerships for about 1.5 months now. In November, since we intended to buy a bit late in the month, they told us there were no vehicles available, and we said, "That's normal, stock runs out." We figured there must be some stock status or planning in place, so we suggested paying a deposit at least for the next month. However, they said we couldn't see the vehicle until it arrives! While vehicles produced in Mexico are visible in stock 45 days in advance—even before they're loaded onto ships—here, a vehicle produced right next door in Turkey can't be viewed until the first day of the month when it reaches the dealership. Can something like this even be possible? If it's really true, have we Turks started to resemble the honest and systematic Japanese we know so well, or is it the other way around?Still, we agreed to everything and decided to wait for December. We thought, "One month late is fine; we'll get it eventually." How wrong we were! They told us to call on December 2nd, when vehicles would enter stock. We called the dealership early in the morning to avoid any issues with finding one. And what do you know—no vehicle in the trim we wanted. We called every single dealership in Istanbul that morning, and except for one, they all said without exception that there were no vehicles. The one that said there was a car added that the incoming one had already been sold. Can you believe it? A 2.5 million TL vehicle sold at 8-9 AM! That's when I realized they're probably prioritizing sales to their own connections or agreeing with galleries to give them first dibs. They still suggested we search on the Toyota website's vehicle finder tool, saying maybe something would show up there. And yes, they were right—cars are showing in stock, but in small cities at the other end of Turkey, two of them! Is Istanbul some kind of restricted zone where vehicles don't come? It's one of the world's largest metropolises! They're telling us to go to cities 1,000 km away instead of here. This kind of carelessness, lack of system, and disregard for customers truly hurts.I thought about voicing my complaint on a Turkish complaint website, hoping they might come up with a solution or at least explain why the vehicle isn't accessible. But after reading previous complaints, I saw they don't offer any such courtesy. That's why I'm first filing a complaint with the Ministry of Trade, and now writing one here on Trustpilot. Company reputation isn't valued in Turkey, but a company like Toyota shouldn't provide such terrible service!

We shouldn't have to pay to use the FOB remote start!

It is winter and very cold outside reminding me how ridiculous it is that I can not remotely start my Camry Hybrid unless I pay for their app! It is SO frustrating that a feature on an expensive car requires ongoing payment for basic functions once the "Trial period" is over! For this reason alone I will be buying a different vehicle. My first time owning a Toyota....and not happy!

accept the brand

the japanes cars are among top reliable. No matter what other companies do, few will match their quality and reliabilty....they last for many years and rarely break, enigine all major interla parts look fine even after 100k mileage.the newer models are also equipped with good tech that is match to the german ones.Solid, not expensive and top quality cars with big name

Worst experience of my life

This review is for Toyota in France. But being the same company they can all take some responsibility. One of the worst experiences of my life. My wife lost both her parents within 6 months and was left with a car from Toyota. They called and left 3 messages with them. Emailed Toyota Succession with all the details and received no response. Living in England left us with a problem so we took the car back. They point blank refused to take it. Lying about insurance and telling us the director was on holiday. When we tried to leave without the car they stopped us. Literally standing in front of our hire car. Magically the director returned from his holiday. He let us leave the car so they could sort out the finance. The car finance said we owed €22k. They could sell the car for €30k. But. They still insisted we pay them a conveniently round €2200 euros for them to take it back early. We are still not sure what that was for. At a time when someone is grieving a company like Toyota should be expected to show sympathy and grace. They don’t. They lie to you to try and make money out of your misery. Very very poor.

I purchased a 2016 Toyota Corolla from USA

I purchased a 2016 Toyota Corolla from the United States and legally imported it into Yemen. Recently, the vehicle began experiencing issues with the CVT transmission, significantly affecting its overall performance. After investigating the cause and retrieving the fault code P2820, I discovered that the problem stemmed from a known defect in the transmission system. It turns out that Toyota had launched an open service campaign — SSC JSD — which covered over one million vehicles. Naturally, I reached out to Toyota and have been following up for nearly three months. As of today, I am still awaiting a response through the Better Business Bureau (BBB) platform.Despite the delay, I remain hopeful that Toyota will not let me down. I sincerely wish that this frustrating journey will end on a positive note — with understanding, cooperation, and ultimately, a resolution. I trust that Toyota will respond to my request and take the appropriate action to support me.

Toyota Clearwater and Corporate truck still not fixed after 5 months!

Absolutely unacceptable service. Toyota has been trying to fix my vehicle since December 7, and despite paying $7,500, I still don’t have a drivable vehicle. I keep getting emails about delays, now saying the catalytic converter could take up to 8 months. Clearwater Toyota claimed the engine was fixed, but my husband had to return it three times after picking it up. Corporate offers no rental and no clear resolution. This is ridiculous for a Tacoma with only 99,000 miles—a truck advertised to last 250,000+. It’s been sitting unused for months. Terrible customer service from Toyota Corporate.

This review is for Austin with Toyita…

Thus review is for Austin with Toyita dealership in Canton GA. We took our 2025 Highlander back to the dealership for help with using the navigation, hands free phone calling, and several services. He was excellent in explaining all the ways to use Nav, etc.

2024 Toyota Tundra misaligned doors and no Fix!

2024 TOYOTA TUNDRA ISSUE WITH MISALIGNED PASSENGER DOORS! NO FIX!Brought my 2024 Tundra to Kenosha Toyota where I purchased it to fix misaligned passenger side doors. I was told by the Kenosha Toyota service dept the doors are not adjustable and cannot be fixed. The service associate then brought me to the sales floor and showed me another truck with the same problem. I went outside and looked at a row of new Tundras with the same misaligned passenger doors and some were worse than mine.Hard to believe Toyota is shipping their new Tundras from the factory with misaligned doors as well as no way to adjust these doors.I was told by a Toyota consumer satisfaction representative that they are aware of this production issue and if Toyota gets enough complaints, they will issue a recall.BIG 1 STAR for POOR TOYOTA QUALITY!

Purchasing a new Toyota

The first time I stopped at Loyalty Toyota in Chester Virginia it was pouring rain. Only one person came out to greet me. He was smiling, pleasant, and carrying an umbrella for me. He listened to my wants for a new vehicle. I would recommend Wayne Epps for your Toyota purchases. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and accommodating sales consultant. He showed me several vehicles, but they were not exactly what I was wanting, and I let him know that I would be waiting for one to arrive on the lot. Mr. Epps called me about a month later. I went in to see what had arrived. The perfect vehicle for me was on the sale lot! The sale was so smooth I purchased the vehicle that very day. Mr. Epps could not have been anymore accommodating. He made sure I was well taken care of and processed through the purchase quickly and efficiently. This is the first time in all of my purchases of a new vehicle that I felt important, thank you Mr. Epps for making that happen!

Toyota care plus my ass Ida the lady who answers there phone…

Ida the lady who answers there phone has lied to my 77 year old mother for 3 hours now. My mother is stranded with a brand new rav 4. She is in the middle of nowhere and was told at 10:30 am that the tow truck would be there in 20 to 30 minutes I drove an hour and a half to sit with my mother. It is now 1:17 pm. When I called. Ida hung up on me when I asked the location of the driver. This is unprofessional and unamerican crap. I told my mother don't ever buy foreign again. But this service is ridiculous and I am pissed 😡

I have been dreaming about the Toyota…

I have been dreaming about the Toyota Camry 70 for a long time. Recently, I finally bought my dream car and I was so happy to have the opportunity to buy this car on my own saved money.I wanted to share my feedback about the Toyota Center in my city. The staff members of the company were so polite exactly like Japanese people and they helped me to choose a suitable car with maximum configuration of Toyota Camry. The car is also great and everything exactly like I was imagining. That’s what I understand about Toyota is reliability and quality! 😁🙌

South Austin Toyota is ghosting me

South Austin Toyota is ghosting me. They took my money and said parts would be in on 2/28. My son was told on 2/26 that the parts would not be to Houston until 3/15... so we just wanted to cancel and get it done elsewhere but they won't return my call. 1) called and spoke with Johanna on 2/26 at 11:17am. Asked her to have service tech or service manager call me. 2) called and spoke with Dawn at 1:11 pm Asked her to have service tech or service manager call me. 3) called sales floor and asked them for help... they transferred me to a voice-mail where I left a message with a service manager on 2/27 at 12:23.Today is 3/1/24. Have not gotten a call back yet? Don't go to Toyota to get your car worked on. They don't have basic, elementary, 101 communication skills. F

Name a better off-road vehicle than…

Name a better off-road vehicle than Toyota!? I am especially in love with the FJ Cruiser. It was bad news for me when I read that they stopped producing this model last year 🙁 I guess not many people appreciate a good retro design.Anyway, this model has already become legendary, and I am sure after 10 or so years they will come back and make a redesign it is the case with some other models from other brands.FJ Cruiser is truly a powerful off-road machine, aside from its appealing design.

I had to exchange cars with a relative…

I had to exchange cars with a relative so I took his Camry for a spin last week, and let me tell you, it has been a solid ride so far! i am not even thinking giving it back haha, I might seriously look into buying one in the foreseeable future. fuel efficiency is allright, maybe slightly worse than lighter-engine cars but it is allright, because in turn you get the right performance out of it. Interior is quite roomy, the seats are pretty comfy so that makes it a very good choice for road trips, or you know, just a bit of cruisin or joy riding. And it is is very good for the daily rides and commutes, from home to work and from the office to the gym or whatnot. the touchscreen infotainment system has also been no problem for me, very quick to wrap your head around and navigate.safety features are also quite high-tier, i think, as far as i can read about it in other reviews and sources. I know that it is not the nail-biter in the looks department if you are looking for that kind of a thing, but it is toyota, it is reliable, and it gets the job done as far as an automobile goes, you see? A reliable choice that won't let you down easily.
