Rubbish Instruction Manual
I recently purchased a microwave oven with the most basic and unhelpful instruction manual I have ever seen which will tell me how to cook popcorn but not how to warm up previously cooked food.I am a non very technically minded 80 year-old who tried without success to contact the company for help. Impossible!!

No RMA for Toshiba HDD
My Toshiba N300 8TB (purchased ~2 years ago) suddenly stopped being recognized—neither my Synology NAS nor a Windows PC via SATA could detect it, though the drive still spins. Given the N300 carries a 3-year warranty, I contacted Toshiba for an RMA.Despite the drive being well within its warranty period, they refused service solely because I couldn’t produce a purchase receipt—no exceptions, no alternative verification (not even serial number or manufacture date).Compare this to competitors like Seagate (IronWolf Pro) or WD (Red Plus), who often honor warranties based on drive date codes or retailer records. Toshiba’s rigid policy feels outdated and customer-unfriendly, especially for enterprise-adjacent drives marketed to NAS users who expect reliability and support.I won’t be buying Toshiba drives again. Trust isn’t just about hardware—it’s about standing behind your product when it fails.

Don't honor warranty
They can improve their customer service. The associate we spoke to first said the t.v. had a bad screen the supervisor says there's a crack when there's visibly no cracks. Do not understand how a t.v. can just stop working and it's our fault. They did not honor their warranty. Super disappointed, t.v was less than a year old. Warranty = useless.

This is the most irritating TV I've ever used. It won't let you download apps without creating an Amazon account which I DONT want to do. The when you do it it'll tell you the app isn't available when you were just using it!!!! Stupid junk crap. I will NOT be getting another in the future. I'll stick to Roku or Samsung.

I bought a TV and after three months it went out. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has left me feeling cheated as a customer. I relied on the assurance of your company's warranty when making the decision to purchase of a 65" TV, and it is unacceptable that the warranty is not being honored as promised.

Worst technical department. The service is beyond horrible. Kevin Williams (Florida) has you on hold for the longest time, only to get a message that he's out of the office for the ENTIRE DAY! and does not allow you to leave a message.

A perfect laptop
On Saturday 12th May 2014 I bought the P750/02Q 3D Laptop so I can surf the web, watch Crownies and my Home and Away episodes in 2D/3D, view photos in 2D/3D as well, use Adobe CC, Microsoft Office 2013 Professional, upgrade the hard drive in my Laptop as well and Skpe my friends and talk to them on Viber too.

Great TV & company
I purchased a Toshiba Fire TV about a year ago and I am completely satisfied with it. I did have a problem with the remote after a few days. I contacted Toshiba support and the rep set up a replacement immediately. The new remote arrived three days later.The TV quality in all aspects has been great. Picture, sound...I would be confident recommending Toshiba to anyone.

Very poor tv software and app support
Very poor tv software and app support. I have to reboot the tv almost daily in order to use their built-in apps such as Netflix. I think they use a Linux backend, with very little effort out into it.

Toshiba technical support service non existent.
Toshiba TV 2 years old screen went black. i rang Toshiba support and Toshiba direct all advise they no longer provided support. They provided numbers that are no longer connected.

It is an Innovative product. It's a air fryer a convection oven a toaster oven a microwave and it's built in one unit. I really love it so easy to use. And it takes up less room in my kitchen.

Broken clip on optical socket on the TV. Toshiba said it must be our doing as we tried to insert the lead the wrong way. The point is it will only go one way. 10 months old. Last time we purchase anything Toshiba.

Nothing but lies
I was promised a refund for the $400 air conditioner I bought that stopped working almost immediately. A refund never came. After sending dozens of emails asking for an update, they finally replied and blamed me for “lack of information” although I had originally sent everything they asked for - all of my contact info, my receipt, proof of purchase, serial number. They asked for the exact same documentation and I provided it again. I was then promised a refund that would arrive in 7-10 business days. I was unsurprised when that cheque never came.Now they are back to their old tricks of simply ignoring me.Do not buy Toshiba products unless you enjoy throwing money away and being lied to.

Badly engineered GR-R39MD refrigerator
We bought a GR-R39MD refrigerator on May 2014 from CSH branch in Kedah state. From day we noticed that the freezer doesn't freeze properly it took 3 days to start freezing and water always overflow under fridge.I called the support and their guy only came to adjust the position of the heater and ofocurse water kept flowing out.After 3 years Ice started accumulating in the freezer compartment and at certain point the refrigerator doesn't cool the food anymore and many times food will turn bad.When we called the support, we got the feeling that they don't really care. They asked for money just to come and inspect although was still under warranty.We resorted to defrosting accumulated Ice manually from time to time which started every 8 weeks and now reached every 10 days and as u can imagine it is a pain in the ass that every Toshiba buyer will face.Good h.... Toshiba, this is our last Toshiba in our house.
