Ordered a Paul Klamper disc brake from Starbike in Germany. The process seemed flawless, and delivery time was quick considering it came from Germany to the UK. They were very clear about the details of importing goods to the UK, so there were no surprises. Product was excellent, and the description was detailed enough to make sure I bought the right variant. All round excellent, would use again. Recommend.

Great price, fantastic service
I purchased a Rockshox rear shock for my son’s mountain bike. It was cheaper than buying in the UK. Delivery time was 4 days and I managed to get it before Christmas which was great. Unfortunately the import VAT, customs duty and handling fee (£94.93) bumped the overall cost up significantly so I would recommend calculating this before buying from outside the EU. However, I would definitely buy from Starbike again particularly if you’re searching for that hard to find component that isn’t available in your country.

Star bike is an excellent choice for ordering bike components to the US
Star bike is an excellent choice for online ordering of bike parts to the US. I have ordered from them many times, the latest was a new set of Campagnolo disc wheels for my new road bike. The wheels came in perfect condition within about a week of ordering. I like the small gummy bear pack stapled to the receipt as a nice touch!

The support team
The support team, especially Lukas, was very helpful in helping me select proper model of Rohloff speedhub for my need with quick response and follow up.The checkout process is also easy with good tracking of the shipment. The goods were received in good condition despite having been inspected by customs both in Germany and in Thailand. However, the process is quite long which had extended the transit time by more than a week.
