Redfin Agents of Atlanta - Buckhead To Be Avoided!

Please be advised that Redfin of Atlanta GA (Buckhead in particular) has most undesirable individuals on their frontlines. Don't know if this is generational or simply bad horrible business practice. I set a viewing appointment I had to cancel in advance and explicitly put in writing that "I" would circle back to reschedule to NO AVAIL!! They proceeded to bum rush me with emails and texts from VARIOUS PPL rescheduling me. They DID NOT read what I wrote. People who do not read are dangerous & unreliable. Then! To harass me and force a rescheduled date & time? Too desperate! Avoid them in Atlanta GA particularly Buckhead. At least FIVE (5) different individuals attempted to finalize a day/time I DID NOT SANCTION!!!!!!! Wasting my time.When purchasing property you want someone who genuinely cares and respects you and your time. Avoid Redfin. Too often a big name is BIG trouble!

Redfin Intentionally Publishes False Information

Redfin has published public information about my home that is fictitious. Redfin published the information recklessly. A simple search at city and county records would show the information was false. Redfin claims my home was just sold (at an amount $80k less than value) when, in fact, I have owned this home for 17 years. Redfin lists incorrect details about my home interior and no realtor has been inside my home for 17 years. Redfin lists wrong property tax information and obviously did not verify this either. Although Redfin has access to public records with accurate information, Redfin chooses to publish information that is false.

REDFIN IS PREDATORY AND ROGUE

Real Estate Services are supposed to bring Expertise, Professionalism, Guidance, and Honesty to the table. Over 97 % of Real Estate Companies operate under a Code of EthicsHowever, there are a few Predatory and Rogue Companies out there. This note is to help hardworking, honest American. Itizens.I have read numerous times NOT TO READ OR TRUST REVIEWS THAT ARE POSTD ON REDFIN SITES. I HAVE READ THE REVIEWS ARE MANUFACTURED, ADJUSTED, ALTERED, HANGED OR ELIMINATED! What? This is Perpetrating Fraud with a malicious intent to harm or injure American Citizens.Let’s test this out. At Redfin Atlanta, There is an alleged Agent with 19 Reviews and all of them are 5 Stars!! Awesome right? Mot so fast my friend!!! First of all, this Agent states that they left Target and became a Real Estate expert. Hmmmmm. Then they could not sell and went to work as a Roofer!! Hmmmm. Then they sold mattresses! Then they became a Real Estate expert! This reeks of fraud and scams!! First of all 20 to 30 Homes sold in 6 years is Pathetic!! Secondly, they can’t seem to hold a job! Why! So I checked the 5 major Review Sites and this same Agent 393363, averages a 1.9 on Reviews!!! Hmmmm. How special is that!! But what is real? So I had their Background checked and found that the same alleged Agent is actually Bankrupt, Evicted and Homeless!!! I have NEVER HEARD OF A HOMELESS REALTOR!!Alleged Agent 393363 has Targeted, Stalked, Harassed and Threatened my Family on Thousands of instances. On August 11, 2025 that same alleged Agent made 30 calls to my 90 year old Mother with Cancer!! what a fine young Christian man!!Evidently, Redfin hires from Prisons!!! This is a Gen Z Thug from a Hood in Atlanta!!! Bankrupt, Evicted, Homeless!!SHAME ON REDFIN REAL ESTATE SERVICES!!!!

Communication 101

The buyer's agent (Caron Prideaux of Redfin) failed to provide professional communication throughout the process of a critical real estate transaction in May 2025, leaving me without official notice when the settlement was cancelled at the last minute due to the buyer's loan being declined for supposed insufficient funds. Despite multiple attempts to reach her after the buyer claimed alleged medical emergencies (validation never made available), neither the agent nor the Title Forward company provided any formal cancellation notice, forcing me to travel 150+ miles and incur unnecessary expenses including furniture staging removal fees, hotel costs, gas and tolls. In my experience, I would not recommend this realtor due to her unprofessional conduct, i.e., lack of transparency and basic communication skills.

The home had broken windows, walls covered in urine stains, spiderwebs throughout, and an overall stench of neglect. Misleading potential buyers by showing cleaned-up or entirely inaccurate photos is a blatant breach of trust. At Least It's Half Price

Our Redfin experience:Anything we asked our agent to do, he did. Except for well-announced and therefore expected vacations, he was accessible 7 days a week, well into the evening. Those aren't hours I would want to work, and I appreciate it.On the other hand, at all times it felt like we were the ones solely responsible for all decisions and actions. How should we price the house? Any number we threw out, he agreed with. Placing an ad in the local printed real estate magazine was our idea - which he did. But when that issue expired, was it renewed? No, because we didn't ask for it. During the more than a year the house was for sale, there was not one suggestion made regarding how to get it to sell. Lowering the price? Our idea. Installing a well? Our idea. Removing the purple-barn-bathroom photo from the featured photos on Redfin? Our idea. (That one REALLY ticked me off.) Re-writing the generic AI-generated property description to actually highlight what made the property unique? Our idea, and my re-write.When we did get an offer and were trying to see the sale to completion: Contractual deadlines would come and go, including some where the contract was legally cancelled, and nobody would say or do anything. An agent should be monitoring those things and making sure they happen - and keeping the people he represents well-informed about what's happening. When the buyers' appraisal wasn't high enough, even after an appeal, writing a fact-based paper on why the appraisal was too low was our idea and our execution - and it worked.It's no mystery why it didn't feel like making our house sell was a high priority for our agent - it wasn't! To him, just another transaction, which he said he completes about once a week. To us, the biggest transaction of our lives, well north of a million dollars, for which we expected but did not receive really engaged, proactive marketing, advice, and quarterbacking.

They Take Their Data Seriously and Fix Problems

There was a mix-up with the house next door being for sale (street number 41 vs 41.5) - a very common confusion trap. Somehow, my house got listed twice: Once correctly and another for sale with all the stats for the house next door.While I couldn't reach anybody through their 844 number, I called the office in our state, and the representative, Laura, responded so so so unexpectedly good. She took ownership of the problem, and started multiple threads toward correction.We don't see this kind of responsibility too much these days.

Wrong estimate

They have very bad algorithm to estimate home value!!! My home price is estimated minimum #210/sf, whereas Redfin calculates itas $172/sf!!! I pointed out this mistake, but they never corrected!!!Stay away from misleading info on this site!

I had an appointment scheduled with a Redfin agent who never contacted me and didn't answer my email.

I had an appointment scheduled with a Redfin sellers agent in Austin. She never called me, not even to tell me she wasn't coming.Try their "customer service" lines. There are 3 or 4 lines on google, the problem is it's the same recording (a man's voice I recognize and they NEVER returned a call) NO CUTOMER SERVICE. Honestly it's the worst real estate co. in 40 years of buying and selling I've ever dealt with. There are several other discount brokerage services with much better reviews

I worked at Redfin

I worked at Redfin, it was a horrible experience. As a straight black male , my black female manager practiced discrimination and even called me a "big scary black guy", "your not good enough to sale homes in Columbia". She even stop me from moving to another department, because my performance was not meeting their standards, however the hiring manager said that I was best fit for the new role and had verbally given me an offer for the new role. The same black female manager went out of her way to highlight my performance and insight because of Redfins policy to take back my offer. Smh. Also every 3 months the executives come up with new ways to reduce your compensation. The commission split is horrible and riddle with confusion. The realtors who work there are awesome , its the culture and policy that absolutely are deplorable at Redfin.

Terrible cheap company.

I almost had an interview with this company today. I had applied to one of their jobs nearly a month ago. There was no pay rate listed, but indeed and Glassdoor had the job title listed at a bare minimum of $22/hour. They wanted me to do a long email video submission, but I wasn’t going to waste my time without knowing the pay rate. I emailed them and asked them and got no response. Weeks later, I received an invitation for an interview well, at least virtual one. Kind of weird to use Google meet, but that was their choice. The HR talent specialist had very poor to little communication skills. The whole process was very unconventional. Just hours before my interview, I received a call asking if I had gotten the invite. I figured I might as well ask for the pay rate. She lowballed me with 16.50/hour. Now I live in the city and to rent a basic apartment runs you about 25/hr to afford that. I have a bachelor degree and 15 years of office experience and a few years of remote experience and 1099 contractor experience. The pay rate she suggested is for a no experience starter job. I will believe job was already closed so it appears they hired somebody and they probably quit. Really is confusing that other people would post online that they were making 20 something an hour and for her to think I would take such a low offer. This woman isn’t very intelligent. I won’t mention her name, but she needs to find a different job. Customer service is not her strong point. For a company this large l, they can afford to pay people a living wage.

We had a total 5 star experience with Katrina Jauregui and Redfin. Redfin has an entire team on hand to work through every aspect of the sale. Sold in 8 hours. multiple showings, 4 offers. Sold just over listing price. We would absolutely work with them in the future. Highly Recommend.

Grossly inaccurate estimates…

Grossly inaccurate estimates particularly if a home is custom or located in exclusive neighborhoods. They rely strictly on cookie-cutter builder grade homes nearby and use that as the basis of valuations for custom homes. No considerations given to location, exclusivity, material grade, quality and angle of views, etc. I think it's time there should be a site dedicated for high end, high value homes and not be lumped into the general pool of average homes for sale which is what RedFin advertises.

Couple Redfin Realtors weren't helpful

Was looking for a condominium in the Denver area. Met with a Redfin Realtor, Dan, in Arvada and was touring a condo with Dan and the seller broker. Due to health concerns, I asked the seller broker if smoking was prohibited in the building. Dan responded "you're not in Boulder". At another condo with a different Redfin Realtor, I met with Enrique who tried rationalizing the problems I brought to his attention.

I found Redfin to be an exceptional…

I found Redfin to be an exceptional experience for me. I was trying to sell my condo and the first realtor was not organized and didn't seem interested in helping me sell. Then I found a Redfin realtor that sold another condo unit in my building and hired him. The most impressive items were: the Redfin realtor and staff were always available for a phone call. All the paperwork was organized and both were available for asking questions and it sold in less than 6 weeks. Then I found another property and the same Redfin agent helped me purchase my new property, and to top it off, both selling and buying of these 2 properties were handled in the same day. Once again, Redfin is very professional, customer service exceptional, excellent online PDF signing of documents, the best realtor rate in the marketplace, and very honest. A fabulous experience x 2. I believe Redfin will be the future of home selling, buying, as well as renting.
