I have a Precor TRM445 from 2018 - motor died and customer service is bad
I have a Precor TRM445 from 2018. The motor went out after seven years - should last much longer. I have been trying to get a replacement through the warranty from a few months now and the customer service experience has been very poor. First, it usually takes an hour just to speak to someone. I've called six times in the last two months and I get a different answer on when my part will be delivered each time. In addition, they say they will follow up with an email if they can't give me a specific date and of course that has not happened. Poor product and even worse customer support.

Precor hip abduction review
In general I find that Precor machines work quite well, however, the hip abuction machine causes me problems. When doing the Gluteus minimus exercise the machine forces me to bend my legs at an awkward, uncomfortable angle. When I place the pads on the outside of my legs it forces me to twist my knees to enable me to reach the foot pegs.. if I leave my legs straight ( like on similar machines) my feet are nowhere near the foot pegs.My left leg is partially paralyzed and it it is extremely difficult and uncomfortable to get my left foot on the foot peg.I have used multiple hip abduction machines and this is the only one made this way. Why is that? Is there a specific reason why I should have to twist my knees?

We spent $3000.00 dollars to by new precor treadmill.we used it once a week for 30 mins. The treadmill is only 5 years old and needs new control board.Repair costs 1000.00 Canadian dollars. Do not buy this brand. Buy another brand with real support and better warranty.

Terrible customer service. Michelle was my service girl
I love my treadmill, but Precor customer service is terrible! My treadmill has been broken for over a month now because Precor is so slow at sending the parts. The first time they were supposed to order parts, they didn’t end up ordering them. The second time they put the order in, they failed to tell us that the parts were on back order. The third time the parts were ordered, they sent only some of the parts and the other main component that was supposed to come in was marked out on the order sheet. Michelle was the girl helping me and then she stopped returning my calls. The treadmill is great, the customer service by Precor is terrible! My treadmill still isn’t fixed

Leaving my gym David Lloyd after nearly a decade over their suddenly removing TechnoGym cardio machines - allegedly “for an upgrade” - and sneak-replacing them with these Precor lemons which do not even sync with Apple products like my watch nor pair via Bluetooth with my (Apple) headphones! My entire fitness life is on the Apple ecosystem, it is frankly insulting that these machines were peddled to us peddled as “modern” or any kind of “upgrade.”Shocking.

Parts unavailable to repair elliptical
We have a Precor elliptical under warranty that has not been working since late January (date of this review 3/15). Apparently, it likely needs a new pedal sensor or new cable. Sensor parts unavailable until 4/18 and the cable unavailable until May. Not even certain that's the problem, but we won't know until the parts come in. Beware of Precor "warranty" when they can't stock important parts to repair their equipment.

Gym owners that replace broken great equipment with brand new crap equipment lose members.
We finally got a new leg extension machine at the gym. It's split axis, i.e., each leg moves separately from the other. I've been lifting 50 years and must say that this machine is a piece of ____.The lower leg swing arm length is not adjustable, so if your shins aren't the Precor length, the pad grinds up and down them during the rep. The fact that the pad is as hard as nylon plastic made me literally wonder if it was going to cut my shins' skin open. The weight angle is also non-adjustable, so you get no resistance with the quad lengthened and only max at peakest contraction angle.Horrible.I will not train legs at this gym again.

Structural metal failure on S3.21 not…
Structural metal failure on S3.21 not covered by warrantyI have an S3.21 (strength training). The metal on the selector cam split apart at the point where the axle shaft attaches it to the frame. The cylinder portion of the metal cracked along the seam with the arm. The warranty did not cover this failure and I had to purchase the part. I don't feel that Precor is standing behind its product. This is not a wear and tear part such as a pulley, wheel, cable, or lever. It is a manufactured fixed piece of structural metal and it failed. As such, this Precor product did not meet a reasonable quality expectation.Robert ErhartPrecor Case #730146

Terrible customer service
I have been trying to source a new spin bike part from Precor for a number of weeks now. I need a new pedal crank and cannot use the spin bike until I can find one. I am a gym owner and run 4 spin classes a week - I am currently not able to fill the class because 1 bike is out of action, and this is costing me £20/week. I emailed precor enquiring as to whether they could help. They responded asking for the bike serial number. As it was the previous owner that bought the bikes, I do not have this so took photos of the bike and sent back to precor. That was nearly 4 weeks ago. I have heard nothing since even though I have sent a follow up email. Terrible customer service - clearly they want no business.
