I have had four different incidents with Postmates in a month for whatever reason every time I order they route my order to a restaurant further away from where I’m at then I proceeded to wait for almost 2 hours each time for order that never comes because there’s never a driver this particular time customer service is refusing to refund me because they’re saying that the order is on his way now that they have speeded up my order and found a driver from way across town when the store I’m ordering from is two blocks from my house so now I’m supposed to accept cold food not get a refund and shitty customer service. Needless to say anybody want to join a class action suit please let’s get it started. They are robbing people and then they want to charge you a fee for their bad service and now you can’t get in touch with their number anymore they’re no longer accepting calls people.
Never tip Prior to recieveing your order. If you get your order and its wrong they will refund you and deduct the tip from the refund and lock the transaction so you can't adjust the tip. that should not be their decision to deduct the tip from the refund of a missing item or wrong item received. always tip after. ***CONSUMER ALERT!!!!! This creative accounting needs a Class Action Lawsuit!!! Check your account they also charge you the full amount and do not adjust with tip included already. Uber and Postmates one in the same.
Yesterday I placed an order, realized I had accidentally placed it at a wrong location, so I immediately cancelled to re-place at the correct location. When cancelling in the app, I was charged for my cancelled order and Postmates refused a refund, stating that because the merchant had "accepted" the order (not even prepared anything) there was nothing they could do. Their customer service was super inflexible, unhelpful, and they were unwilling to even give me a credit to use for a future purchase. Really insane that a company worth billions of dollars would nickel and dime so hard over a $60 dinner and a simple mistake that could hav easily been rectified.
I was expecting a food delivery, and it never arrived. Apparently, the driver stole my food order. I called the restaurant to inform them; however, I was told they could not do anything about the issue. I will never use Postmates again.
We recently received a New Year’s Eve food order from a local steakhouse. It was a special occasion for us, so we spent more than we usually would. I received a bad hamburger and my wife received a bad steak dinner. When I reported the issues to Postmates through their app, the submission process presented technical errors of three types. First, they offered a refund we could accept without showing a dollar amount. Second, the details of the order were duplicated in places, and missing in others. This required us to retype our submissions twice in some areas, and left us unable to submit information in others. Thirdly, the submission ended without resolution and presented at page for us to resubmit what had already been repeatedly stated. After this failed, we reached out to Postmates chat. Three separate agents (Rojane, Dinna, and Porsche) failed to answer our questions, ending the chat sessions. A refund of less than a third of our bill was refunded to us. We asked how this amount was reached with no reaction from the agents.This process left a disappointing/inedible meal experience even worse. We only wanted answers and the value we lost over the bad food.
I tried to setup an account with Postmates to deliver meals as a side hustle. I updated my new car and the result was that I was deactivated.
I was missing an item ordered from Postmates and the bots on their help sections refused to reimburse me. The bots just kept repeating the same script over and over. I have not been able to reach a live customer support person to discuss the issue.
I order regularly (more than I should), and they are generally reliable and easy to use. They are good with refunds when things are wrong with your order and are generous with BOGO offers, etc. With that being said their time estimates are always off to a ridiculous point, it will say 10-20 minutes and will take 30-1hr minutes essentially every time, why they even have the time estimates/where they get them from is beyond me.
I placed an order through Postmates yesterday from Rob's Kitchen. I received a picture request that the food was delivered at 5:50 pm on December 2nd, and when I went outside to pick it up, there was nothing there. The delivery driver had to take a picture of it and then took the food with him. I was so mad. To make matters even worse, I tried to get help for my issue, and they said, "Hold on while we contact the driver." Once I clicked OK, I received a message: "We are glad you found your order." I was like what I never found my order. Eventually, I was able to get a refund after I had to wait like ten minutes and use the help icon again. I will not be using Postmates again, this was terrible.
I had a terrible experience with Postmates. I received a text offering 60% off (up to $30) on select restaurants. I added the promo code, saw it applied at checkout, and my total showed $46.36. After my order arrived and about to tip, I noticed I was actually charged $76.36. The discount never went through even though the app showed it applied.I contacted customer service, and it only made the situation worse. The first representative claimed my order “wasn’t eligible,” even though I had a screenshot showing the promo was accepted. As soon as I sent the proof, they disconnected the chat. The second representative was rude and condescending, trying to “teach” me how to apply a code instead of addressing the issue.This felt completely misleading and dishonest. Postmates advertises a promotion, shows it as applied, then charges the full amount with zero accountability. I will not be using Postmates again unless they fix this and improve their customer service.
I should've known better to order from them when I saw that they are now owned by Uber Eats. :(I ordered several items, one was 2 bananas. However, after the driver left and I went back inside, I noticed that one of the bananas were moldy and the peel was split open on the bottom of one of them. I do have images but there's no way to insert them. :(
Do not order from these people they did not Wanna give me my money back when I didn't even receive my order the driver delivered my order to the wrong house and I felt like they were telling me oh well that's not our problem pretty much. They are money hungry they wanna keep your money. They are scammers.
The food did show up hot, but prices are not right online and you end up paying a lot more than you expect after already checking out and getting the food. Will not be using Postmates again.
I’ve noticed that Postmates (uber in general) cheats people via tips. I have a multitude of screen shots of them setting tip %s incorrectly. Sometimes it benefits the driver and sometimes it screws them. Example: they have an $18.00 total, they list 13% tip at $3.63 - reality is 13% of 18 is 2.34. I will be consulting an attorney about a class action lawsuit - if anyone else has seen this, take screen shots and talk to a lawyer for a CA lawsuit.
This company is a RIP OFF. Order something for 11 dollars and watch your total become 22 in a snap and that's with the food being EXACTLY 1.1 miles down the road. They use "surprise" charges and certain "lingo" to explain charges that makes NO sense then act as if they don't know why your mad. All you see after the food places charge is CHARGE, then CHARGE then CHARGE all titled under something new even though taxes and total was already added up. Don't get me started with the "automatic tip" (which they advertise as free) but if you don't tip something they won't take your order even though (ready for this) THEY ALREADY CHARGE A DELIVERY CHARGE! So they want you to pay SEVERAL times under the guise of all these different reasons which in reality are the exact same just new ways for them to take your money. CALL ANYONE ELSE as this is this most expensive by far!!!!!!!!!!!
Great atmosphere. It’s relaxing and peaceful but not boring. The staff is awesome, and everybody is always so polite. The food is delicious. This place is a great. My personal menu favorites are the edamame, pan fried Gyoza and the smoked salmon sashimi. All 3 are a 10/10.
Every other order I am lucky if my food gets to me on time. This last order the driver had probably over 5 stops. Was already 5 mins over and no attempt to make the delivery to me.
Please do not use this services they take your money and make sure you can not talk to anyone live they have no remorse or care in the world I have deleted all apps that deals with uber or affiliate with them . Then the have drivers who knowingly takes kids meal and eat them knowing you have starving kids at home and no way to get food . I would never ever use uber eats , Postmates or nothing related to them again. Please take this warning and run
Paid $6 for an item that didn't even show up. Got a $3 refund for the $6 item. Any attempts to go through Help led to dead ends and useless FAQs. The selection of restaurants is nice, but not endless, and if you encounter any of the frequent problems I do, the customer support, or lack thereof, gets old really fast. I'd go to a different delivery app. Uber is the same people with the same problems, so I wouldn't bother there either.
