It's very well made with a strong, durable zip and a hood with good coverage and side pockets with reasonable depth. The Hoody's material is a standout: the 15 per cent hemp mix creates breathability; the entire fabric feels lovely on the skin. The product is Patagonia's superior Hoody. The disappointment is the Pine Needle Green colorway has been retired in Australia; the Black and Marlowe Brown options are attractive but the Pine Needle Green is outstanding. Quick delivery when ordered online in Melbourne - two business days.
Patagonia consistently delivers high‑quality outdoor clothing that feels reliable in every condition. Their materials are durable, comfortable, and designed to handle real use, whether it’s hiking, traveling, or everyday wear. The fit is practical without sacrificing style, and the attention to detail shows in how well their gear performs over time. It’s the kind of brand you can trust when you need something that works, lasts, and feels good to wear!
We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience. We purchased multiple clothing items as Christmas gifts and decided to return just one item, which was never worn or even tried on, as it was intended to remain new for gifting.Despite this, Patagonia returned the item to us twice, claiming it had been worn, without providing any specific explanation or evidence. The product is in immaculate, unused condition. For a company of this size and reputation, this handling of a straightforward return is unacceptable. We expect transparency, clear communication, and fair treatment when following the return policy in good faith.
I have bought several items by Patagonia in their Dublin store. All but one were affected by discolouration. The worst case was a black t-shirt that developed brown stains on the first wear. When I tried to return it I was told that it was due to cotton being organic. They refused a refund and I only got my money back after I said that I would be taking that to small claims court.
J'ai acheté Men's Classic Retro-X® Fleece Jacket 240 euro tu reçois dans un sac comme si tu venais d'acheter un article a 5 euro ! Pensé a vous couvrir en dessous sa tien pas si chaud qu'il le disent
I sent a shirt and jacket for repair. Both were sent back without repairs. You expert better quality for the high price - or at least a commitment to repairing holes in their clothes. Very disappointing for a company that claims to take sustainability seriously. This is greenwashing.
I bought Patagonia waterproof pants and rain jacket for a multi day hike, the pants became torn early in the trip. Upon my return I asked the store (Paddy Pallin, Hobart) about a repair or replacement - they told me Patagonia would fix the pants, which they did at no cost. A proper repair job too, not just a crappy stitch job but a complete new patch. Very happy with that service
A rare company: one that has ethical principles and tries to stick with them. They produce documentaries on topics that need attention on them. And they produce good clothing.
Every year, I’ve purchased items from Patagonia for my daughter’s birthday. This will be my last year doing so. I recently learned that, even though Patagonia has a store in Canada, their online orders are shipped from the U.S. — and they charge $28 for shipping. That’s the most I’ve ever paid to ship clothing. I’ve always been willing to pay Patagonia’s higher prices because I believed in their quality and commitment to the environment. But what I can’t overlook is being charged such an excessive shipping fee for products that aren’t even shipped within Canada.Very disappointing — especially from a company that promotes fairness and sustainability.
Jacket ordered on 24 hour service over a week ago. Mis-routed and not deleivered one week later Raised the issue last week. No response from customer service and no options on Royal Mail tracking to contact them either So poor form a company of this size and for an expensive item
I had my down jacket for 5 years, it was starting to rip in a few places because I used it a lot, basically every day during the cold season. I got in touch with them and they accepted to repair it for free, including shipping, got it in a few weeks. They did a great job Amazing Company
I ordered s back pack and it broke in less than 2 weeks. Customer service have been awful and unhelpful for the uk, the us one on the other hand was helpful but probably just to pass me on to uk customer service. Now I have a broken backpack!
Extremely poor customer service and defective products.I bought a £70 rrp merino tee which perished in less than a year with only occasional use. They brag about a Cast Iron Guarantee on their website but ignore any customers that contact them. They have lost a life time customer and will be recieving very poor reviews on their merino tee shirts going forward.Disgraceful company.
Ordered a Jacket. Was unhappy with sizing so I returned. The return was received back at their warehouse on 22nd August. 20 Days later and still no word of when I will get my refund. I've emailed them twice. I've now opened a PayPal dispute. Will never buy anything from Patagonia again. Do yourself a favour and avoid.
So I’ve tried to purchase a number of products from Patagonia Canada, but unfortunately they aren’t shipping from Canada. They’re shipping from the United States and actually charge you double the actual purchase price in order to compensate for the shipping and everything else that comes with it so if I’m buying a $300 Jacket that jacket now cost me $600 pathetic organization have no interest in servicing Canadian customers
The clothing is too comfortable and the logo is too trusting to let go of.
Ordered on 8th August and eventually received on 28th. So 20 days! Lots of emails chasing up the order. They sent a form to fill in which you need a computer or Word. Then they said it will take 2 weeks to investigate. They make it as hard as possible to communicate with them as the phone number for customer service sends you to automated messages saying no one there. I received emails from Royal Mail saying it’s out for delivery on 2 occasions when it wasn’t! Feel stressed, no way to treat customers!Don’t order direct from this site!! Especially if you need the item. If I’d seen the negative reviews on trust pilot first I would never of ordered from this company.
I had a frustrating experience with Patagonia. They told me my order was canceled, but it was actually shipped, so I ended up purchasing the same item again through another channel. Later, they kept insisting the order was canceled and that I would get a refund, but I already received the products and no refund was issued. To make things worse, customer service kept pushing responsibility to the order management department, while the order management department only replied with generic template emails.
My coat arrived with the security tag on. I was initially offered a refund but I really wanted the jacket and it was sold out on the website. The only thing they could suggest is to go to a Patagonia partner store, but the local one didn't use security tags. Resorted to wire cutters.
