Great enthusiast products

I came to know this company thanks to their Halo keyboards. I bought the Halo96 v1 in 2023 which is still working great. Now in 2026 I upgraded to two Halo96 v2 (one in black, one in white) and I am very satisfied with them. I use one with linear switches and the other one with tactile switches.Only negatives are:- their software is not great- when waking up from sleep mode, the very first few key inputs sometimes do not register (only in v2).- the halo leds in the "notch" are out of sync with the rest of the halo colors, in certain modes.

Faulty key within 6 months; frustrating support process

My NuPhy keyboard developed a faulty key in under 6 months. For the price, that’s unacceptable.Customer service has been equally disappointing. Instead of a straightforward warranty resolution, I was asked to go through multiple rounds of troubleshooting and provide repeated proof. The back-and-forth took far too long and felt like jumping through hoops for a product that failed so quickly.I can’t recommend NuPhy based on reliability and the support experience.

Illegal return policy, unsafe battery, do not buy!

I bought a nuphy keyboard a couple of years ago. After around a year the case started to split open, however the keyboard still worked so I continued to use it. The splitting got worse over time and after some months I was able to see inside the keyboard and see that the cause of the splitting was that the rechargeable battery inside had started to expand. This means the battery was disintegrating and can then be at risk of fire or explosion so is actually quite a dangerous situation. I have never had a device before where the rechargeable battery expanded like this (and we all use a lot of rechargeable devices these days). I immediately disposed of the keyboard. My assumption is that the batteries used in the keyboards are extremely cheap and would not necessarily meet European safety standards. I purchased a second keyboard from them to replace the first, giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was a one-off. The new keyboard was the same model as the old but came with extremely clicky key switches which had been supplied as the default option (I had not checked this at purchase). This was not what I wanted so I wrote to them asking for a refund. They list a 30-day "No questions" refund, but in reality I think it's virtually impossible to return anything to them for a refund. They told me I could not return the keyboard because it was sold as a "promotional item" i.e it was listed as 30% off at the time of purchase. I have also read on other forums that if you do return them you have to send them back to China at your own considerable expense which makes it not worth doing. I would like to point out that their returns policy is technically illegal in the UK where the consumer rights act gives you 2 weeks to return items in unused condition, unless you have been able to inspect them before purchase. I'm not wasting my time writing to them to question this. However, I will never ever buy from this company again and strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for your keyboard.

I was skeptical but it all worked out

I had never tried a Nuphy keyboard. The model I wanted was not available on Amazon, so I had to order directly from the Nuphy website. This meant, buying directly from the manufacture and having it ship from China to the U.S. - I was skeptical and purchased with a good credit card in case I needed to do a charge back. However, it all worked out. It arrived 10 days later. Overall I'm really happy with the quality of the keyboard. I did have a keymapping issue with 1 button due to the Nuphy IO software. I emailed them and Nuphy support got back to me within 24 hours stating they would fix that issue and add it to the next update. Honestly, I'm pretty impressed with this company so far. It seems like peoples experiences are a mixed bag, but mine has been good.

Dismal delivery

I honestly don't care how good the keyboards are anymore.Placed the order on the 4th of December, it was shipped on the 8th and still hasn't reached me.

I Own 5 NuPhy Keyboards. Here's Why.

My journey with NuPhy started years ago. My very first low-profile keyboard was their Air75v1, and it completely blew me away. I didn't think a slim keyboard could feel that good. Fast forward to today, and I now own five of their boards.NuPhy designs are fun and unique, and very distinguishable. They're simple and minimalistic which I love but they also are packed with so many features. They really figured out how to make a low-profile keyboard that feels and sounds amazing right out of the box, which saves a ton of time and effort. On top of that, they actually listen to their community. I was lucky enough to be picked as an early tester for one of their new products, and it's cool to see a brand that genuinely cares what its users think. It's just a great company making great products. It's easy to be a fan. 5 stars, no question.

Custom service is useless. More like a scam

Custom service is useless and unhelpful. More like a scam, really. I contacted the support service to ask for a refund on a broken keyboard unit they sent to me. After following a tutorial to try to upgrade the keyboard's firmware (which didn't work) and recording videos to send to them as proof that I was executing the steps correctly, they kept replying to me as if I was missing something to show them in the videos.q

Beautiful, high quality boards!

I have bought keyboards from Nuphy for a few years now and have been very satisfied with the hardware and improvements they're pushing each time. The introduction of Nuphy.io was a very welcome one when compared to my older boards and I am very happy that this is the default moving forward. As for the boards I have been very happy with the build quality and aesthetics each time! I have yet to receive a bad unit or experience issues down the line and they have gone through many many hours of use. My only gripes would come from unavoidable fact that they are based in China so the shipping and support response rate can be on the slower side especially during sales, but the outcomes for me have been satisfactory personally. Overall I would recommend this brand's boards if you're looking for a very polished product with unique aesthetics and great features out of the box.

NuPhy customer service is horrible and their products are not ready to use out of the box

NuPhy is a scam. I ordered a keyboard which I expected to use out of the box, but couldn’t do something as simple as locking the Fn keys (having watched multiple tutorial videos) without downloading more software on my computer, which I explained I cannot do because i was going to use this keyboard with a work computer. I asked for a return and refund repeatedly and they just kept sending me instructions on how to fix it, which didn’t work. Finally they told me that because there is nothing wrong with the product and they’ve tried to fix the issue for me, I can return it at my own cost to JAPAN. It’ll probably cost 20% to 50% of the purchase price to do that, and they’ve outlined a ton of reasons why they would reduce the refund if they don’t find the product on satisfactory condition. I only unboxed and reboxed the product, so it shouldn’t cause issues, but my terrible customer experience makes me concerned that they’ll just find an excuse to dock more money off my refund.

Worst customer service ever received

I honestly don't know where to start. At first Nuphy seem like a good company, quite a few good reviews on YouTube although no way to know whether these are paid/gifted reviews. However the quality of customer service from Nuphy is honestly the worst I have ever received. Firstly one of my orders has gone missing, the courier is saying delivered but the photo they are supposed to use for proof of delivery is blank and looks like the driver has covered the camera. I have reported to Nuphy and they are basically saying it is my problem and I need to speak with the courier company to investigate. The issue is that when I speak with the courier company (after a 75 minute hold), they are telling me it is the senders responsibility to contact them. I tell Nuphy this and they go quiet on me so I am currently $119 out of pocket. The second lack of customer service is that the Air75 V2 that did arrive, arrived with a fault (the right arrow key does not work), I have sent videos to Nuphy of me replacing the switch, resetting the board, updating firmware etc and yet the keep asking for more videos. Each email takes around 2 days for a response so we are already nearly 2 weeks back and fourth on a faulty brand new product (I am sure these delay tactics are on purpose) and they are now asking for another video. I have not asked them for a new one, I have asked for them to arrange return of this one for a repair so even without the 3 videos sent, there would be no benefit to me lying about the fault!! If you want a decent keyboard with great customer service take a look at Keychron. I wish I had just replaced like for like but got suckered in with Nuphy's Black Friday deals.

The Node75 in Ink Gray with Blush…

The Node75 in Ink Gray with Blush Switches (I bought the High Profile variant) is perfect for both home and office.Ordered on Nov 15th - I received it from last mile on Dec 8th. The wait time was quite long, but I did order during Black Friday sales. No issues to report!I have now used it for a full day at work and at home; it is an Amazing keyboard for the $100 price point. Blush switches are game-changing, and I already want to buy the Blush Nano (low profile version) as I got the Air75 V1 years ago, still going strong. The touch bar is nicely incorporated in the dot-matrix design and LED, all of which is very responsive and you can customize it within the NuPhyIO software! One suggestion; to improve the low-tier kickstand. The high-tier kickstand works great, but when you shift the keyboard forward to make room for something, the low-tier kickstand gives away right away.

NuPhy Air 96, a fantastic travel companion.

What made my experience great? My Air 96 v1 is a keyboard I have had for a couple years now and it has worked without fail. I was looking for a keyboard that was lightweight but was mechanical was also hot swappable as I was new to the mechanical keyboard world and was not sure what switch I really wanted.I needed something small because I was traveling a lot and my work deals with a lot of numbers so a number pad was required. The Air 96 was a great fit.The build has been great with the aluminum top and solid plastic bottom. The in built adjustable feet has helped me be comfortable on the various typing surfaces I have had to use over the years.Because of the travel being able to remember multiple devices for Bluetooth connection made my work flow very quick. One thing I would like in the future is a way to get a better guide on the battery level. I know there is a key combo to get a green or blue light but having something to even denote 25, 50, 75, and 100% battery statues would be nice. That being said I seldom have ever had to have it so I guess in the end it is not that huge of a deal.As for gaming, this board feels good when I play FPS, RPG, or whatever I am playing that day.Pros:Full keyboard design, including numpad.Lightweight, easy for travel.Quick connectivity, allows me to swap from PC to tablet to phone to work PC on the fly.Hot Swappable, this is a great feature in case you are not exactly sure what switches you like or just want some change.Long life battery, great for my on the go uses.Cons:No reliable battery indicator, it would be nice to have a more full featured battery indicator.Software, I do not use the Nuphy software much for this board but it was not entirely intuitive when I used it. (This could have gotten better, I have not looked at it in a long time).Overall, this Air line of keyboards was fantastic for my needs.

The GOAT 75% Keyboard | NuPhy Halo75 V2

I bought the NuPhy Halo 75 V2 with Raspberry switches on November 4, and after using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it's the best value-for-money keyboard I've ever owned. The design and functionality are spot-on for both gaming and productivity. While I’m not a huge fan of its VIA customization options, it’s not a big deal for me since I don’t really use macros or advanced features. What matters most to me is the typing experience, ergonomics, and aesthetics, and this keyboard nails all of that.Overall, I’ve had a great experience buying from NuPhy, their product and customer service are both excellent. I also look forward buying in the future!

Where the great typing experience lives!

I acquired my very first mechanical keyboard in August, 2023. It was a Nuphy's Halo96 V1. In my almost 30 years in the ICT field, typing had never been considered an experience. It was just a necessity. With this keyboard, I was bitten by the mechanical keyboard bug! I have kept going and going. Today, my latest acquisition is a Nuphy Halo75 V2 (QMK). Yes, that's a thing in this world. And switches is also a thing. The Halo75 V2 Blue Lagoon is gorgeous! The keycaps feel great on my fingers. The Blush Max is a secret magic added to it. The switches are creamy! It's not like I am typing, but just touching and the characters appear 🙂To crown it all, the HALO light. Heavenly!Lest me not forget. My journey with Nuphy over the years has been long and a fruitful one. I have a total of 8 different keyboards from Nuphy. My interaction and experience with their Customer Service has been satisfying.

NuPhy censors negative reviews on their site.

MY FIRST MECHANICAL KEYBOARD.I DON'T RECOMMEND PURCHASING NANO BLUSH KEYS, NOR THE NUPHY AIR75 V3NuPhy censors negative reviews on their website. My review of 2 stars never got published. Their products barely have any reviews at all. The only ones that are shown are the 4-5 star ones. If you've purchased from them and tried to leave a review that will lower their product rating (anything less than 3 stars), it will never see the light of day. The only person other than you who will see your review is the NuPhy employee in charge of discarding all the negative reviews (I'm speculating).I really tried to like their NuPhy Air75 V3 keyboard. I purchased it with Nano Blush keys since I wanted a quieter typing experience. I used it for weeks, trying to get used to it; trying to find any reason to keep using it. But it simply just does not feel good... My hand feels strained using it because the keys are too effortless to press; I can't rest my fingers on the keyboard when not typing because the sheer weight of my hand is going to press the keys down (hence my wrist is always strained to keep my hand up). Either that, or I need to keep my fingers retracted and off the keyboard if I'm not typing. Additionally, it's way too easy to make typos, especially if you are a fast typer (Note: I type properly, with each finger to its designated keys). It's also hard to recover from a typo due to the previously mentioned reasons; if you want to backspace, you'll probably bump an adjacent key (which is so effortless to press) and then make another typo. The Nano Blush keys gives little to no feedback (in sound or feel) to the typer on whether or not a key has been pressed; your only real feedback is the screen which, believe it or not, is sometimes not enough. Just imagine typing on air (no pun intended). The Air75 with Nano Blush keys feels kind of like that... So, after using NuPhy for a few weeks, it's simply not a pleasant experience. I should've just went with the Apple magic keyboard.Of course, NuPhy would never let me share my experience on their site though, so I'm posting it here.Note: the product will likely take a while to arrive. Took 3+ weeks for me. I live on the US east coast.

This is just awful service

This is just awful service. They made me wait two weeks after I paid for my purchase, saying they weren't sure if I really wanted the keyboard. They don't want people to buy from them.
