Bought a NAD M10v2 in 2022, no support for repair

Bought a NAD M10v2 in 2022. One year after warranty, the unit required repair. Went to affiliated factory authorized service “partner” (24 in the US listed). Unit is still sitting in shop after 6 weeks untouched. Contacted NAD support team with very little support. Trying to blame their “independent” repair shop. Wrote to the CEO/ President , Gordan Simmons of Lenbrook Americas twice threatening to take them to small claims court. They refuse to take responsibility. David Cain, the COO became very "unlikeable". I have filed a lawsuit and reported them to the FTC for fraud. Who needs this. They will not stand behind their faulty products. Buy “real” equipment from real people, not this static. All the wrong pathology.

Lousy software

Bought the C368 from HiFi Klubben in Almere. They push it pretty agressively. Unfortunately i fell for their story. The sound so far is ok but the software is lousy. So many bugs and user unfriendly. Took me ages even to connect the equipment to the app. Poorly designed.

NAD kicks customers on their chin

I have a C338 amplifier (bought 2020)Recently, i wanted to add the « NAD remote «  app on my wife’s phone. Suddenly, it seems the app is no longer available in my region…I contacted NAD support, here’s their answer;Thank you for contacting the NAD Electronics Support Crew. Unfortunately, the NAD Remote App is no longer supported by us and therefore has been removed in the Google Play Store completely, and is being phased out of the Apple App Store as well. I apologize for the inconvenience. Kind Regards,Kellie S.NAD Electronics Support CrewSo what do you get from NAD as a valued customer? -> a very nice « screw you »!!!

NAD is no longer reliable, avoid at all costs

Like someone else on this forum, I had an NAD M10 that went bad. After a back and forth with a barely existent support team, I took it in for service within the warranty period, and the unit has been sitting there for three months and counting because NAD won't send the repair tech the part, won't replace the unit with a refurbished one, and after making me wait, won't just give me a new unit. I have been an NAD user for about 40 years (I had lots of equipment including an NAD 7125 that still works from the 80s), but now I would not ever purchase from them again. It's sad...were they bought by a PE firm or something because usually a quality/service drop like this only happens when someone buys you.

I have a T748 NAD

I have a T748 NAD, they will not return calls or emails to resolve the problem with their product. Simply put, they have the honors of being the worst customer service in my lifetime. Nad, your going to go out of business, if you keep this attitude towards your customers. Karma always pays back wrong doers. Simply put your horrible! If I could rate them Minus 100 I would!

Nad c368

Purchased c368 4 years ago. Was impressed until crackling sound from one speaker and a burning smell from amp. Dc voltage error shown on amp screen. Crackling Kef speaker has ceased to work. I have resurrected my Arcam movie 5.1. and at the same time purchased new speakers. If this problem with c368 occurs again after being repaired will it destroy another speaker.. I think i will be selling it, even at a loss.

Very poor customer service

Following My updating Nad M10 to latest firmware Blu Os 4.2.0 i was having issues with the screen display staying permanently on.After contacting Nad support via email was told the issue had been replicated in the lab and to wait for a firmware update to resolve the issue. This took over six weeks to fix although now I have an issue with intermittent/loss os sound .I have done all the checks ,re installed firmware rebooted and checked speakers and pre amp with no success. After raising a support request again 13 days ago i am still waiting for help. The bottom line here is I paid for a premium price for what I expected to be a premium product with support to match unfortunately I was wrong and will not go anywhere near a NAD product again or recommend them. All i have ended up with is a very expensive paperweight.

Future proof lie

About 3 years ago I bought Nad Master Series M12 Preamp/DAC and the M22 v2 Power amp. One of the reasons I did this is the “future proof” that Nad marketed loudly and often with the modular design of these products that ensured this. 3 years later both products have been discontinued. So my equipment has become obsolete in 3 years and lost a significant amount of value. Their latest MDC modules don’t even work with the M12. So much for their future proof claim. Lousy decision to go with Nad products. Will look elsewhere when I’ve managed to get rid of this stuff.

NAD 3045 amplifier is one year old; warranty a joke

My NAD 3045 amplifier is one year old, still under their pseudo "warranty". It failed like many others because it overheats, has no fan, and has no real heat sink to protect transisters. I only use it in a bedroom for NPR in the morning, with 8 ohm speakers, so it is not abused. There is no warranty service in Colorado. NAD sent me to the seller, who was surprised. NAD/Bluesound offer no replacements. I have to wait at least 6 weeks and mail this to NY for service. This is a joke. I will buy a better designed amp from a competitor so I can listen to music again and sell this junk if I ever get it back. I will also sell my Powernode 2i since I do not trust this company anymore. Avoid NAD and Bluesound products! Sound United (Marantz, Polk, Denon, etc) offer replacement units under warranty when they cannot fix equipment in reasonable time. NAD needs to grow up into a real company we can trust. PS, and don't design 60W amps with no fan and no heat sinks! Designed to fai.

Never wasting my money again with nad. Back in 2013 I spent $ 4000 on a nad…

Back in 2013 I spent $ 4000 on a nad 787,enjoyed it for 8 years, then the right surround channel started crackling then humming to the point I had to disconnect the speakers. Then the amp just started shutting down within a second of powering up.I have phoned every nad head office place in Canada, they could not give a darn about their customers. The only nad service center in BC,witch is 1500 km's from me here in terrace does not answer or return calls. I will never deal with nad ever again.I now bought a Emotiva system,a 13 channel 2 amp, 1 pre amp,200w per channel all the cables and some height speakers for 5000 cad.All their stuff is modular,so easy serviceable with a 5year warranty, plus they buy back their own stuff for upgrades.I have been into stereo stuff for almost 40 years, this new system fro Emotiva is the best sounding,no nonsense equipment I have ever owned. I thought that when I bought the nad I was buying the best av receiver, boy was I wrong.Oh and when you call Emotiva, there are actual humans to talk to and all their Amps are hand made by one individual and tested by a different person.

I bought a NAD D3045 in Feb 2019 from…

I bought a NAD D3045 in Feb 2019 from Audiologica Ltd. Sale and delivery was a doddle. I have been using it without a hitch until last Friday evening.... I had been streaming audio from Amazon when a few interruptions in the streaming suggested I may have been receiving incoming massages on my smart phone....Ooooohhhh Nooooo, this was not the case. A few weird sounds and volume fluctuations, followed by a dreaded pop... and the nasty smell of a electronic burnout confirmed my worst fears... It had cooked itself... Pretty poor show as it now appears this is a regular occurrence with these D models. Clearly they are not fit for the purpose advertised, made from defective materials or simply this designated model is just a complete duffer... Anyways £599.99 down the drain on a substandard problematic device... Very disappointing and best avoided. Whats worse is NAD customer service is pretty indifferent about the level of system failures with this particular model and its stablemates.

After 7 years my T758 died

After 7 years my T758 died. I took it to an authorized repair shop and they diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I contacted NAD/Lenbrook and was told that the parts had arrived at their facility and would be shipped to the repair shop soon. Five weeks later, the repair shop phones to inform me that the parts are not available. I have gear from 1971 that still works. Ignore the glowing reviews because NAD will ignore you. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB.

Pretty poor customer service

Pretty poor customer service. Incredibly junior support who just waste time going round in circles. Might be a good AVR (T778) but let down by dodgy software and poor support.
