Absolutely 5* You can usually get in touch with someone if you have a question. Amy/Lyndsey helped me choose the right products for my wife's Christmas presents and I've ended up with quite a lot of items now including the 'My Sewing Box' Subscription Box and I will write a separate review on that after Christmas 2025. Good value and nice people to do business with. Thank You!
First time using this company, I ordered the fabric samples book, and I'm delighted with it, plus the little note I thought was very nice gesture.I will add them to my list and I'll be back in the future.Ive been sewing all my life since a small child I'm now 74. I started my working life in a millenery at 16.
I am loving the My Sewing Box advent calendar! All the gifts are useful and very different to many other sewing advent calendars. I sew a lot, so there is a limit to how many tape measures I need! Initially I thought £70 was expensive but actually you get what you pay for ....high quality, useful gifts and the excitement of opening a little numbered bag every day! I shall now start saving for next year's calendar! 😀
Bad online experience. Email address stored without my consent and marketing messages sent without approval - despite never submitting form with email address in it or 'signing up'.I didn't actually purchase due to high delivery costs. Email address was autofilled into the web form by my broser, but the form was not submitted. No contract was entered in to, and no permission was given to store my data, including email (as also delivery address was entered to calculate shipping costs). Despite this, mysewingbox saw it fit to send me marketing emails.While this is due to the ecommerce platform they use and not something they have deiberately or maliciously done, it is terrible practice and certainly against GDPR. Based on this I would not trust them or use their services.
Wonderful small business. Great quality fabrics - good prices and quick delivery. The thank you notes with your package is such a nice touch. I’ve told myself no more fabric but let’s see how long that lasts !!
Lovely sewing box. Much nicer than the one I was thinking of getting from a high end, high street store. Arrived within three days. Ordering was easy.Highly recommend these.
I have used this company quite a few times now and every time I have used them I have been delighted with the quality of the fabrics, the friendliness and the speed of delivery, even during the first lockdown. In my most recent order I ordered some fabric and tried to match the thread online as best as I could but just in case I left a note in the box to ask if they would check the match and change if they thought there was a better one, they have changed the thread and I am delighted with their choice.Thank you Amy and Angela
My second purchase from my sewing box. Really pleased with purchases. Easy online ordering process, well packaged. Love the thank you note, that is a really nice touch. Good to know the support Is for a small business especially in current climate. Definitely recommend and will use again.
Excellent online order experience. Great emails & communication. Had no problems at all, I even added to my initial order without any problems. Amy & Angela were very helpful! Delivery was quick & everything was as described. ***Only issue I have is - you need to type www. to reach the web address!*** I thought their site had shut down until my husband told me to try adding www. rather than just typing mysewingbox.co.uk
