Double fail on customer service …

I order a monitor and a usb power supply that was supposed to be in stock. After a few days Micro Center cancelled my order for the monitor and shipped the unneeded power supply. I was told I would have to order the monitor again if I wanted it. When I asked about paying for shipping again they stopped trying to help me. To many fails on my first order with this simple order.

Microcenter is the best

Microcenter is one of the best retailers with a brick a mortar store. They carry so many components at a cheap price. I'm blown away their reviews are so low on here. People only ever leave negative reviews. Its a shame they don't automatically get positive reviews from all the happy customers.

This company is an absolute scam

This company is an absolute scam. I cannot tell you the horrors I experienced with this company and Amazon in fact, it was so bad I dropped doing business with Amazon because of it. First Office sent me the wrong item. The item I ordered was supposed to be an excellent condition. It was beat up so bad look like it was thrown out of a car window do not work. And It was the wrong item. Never had a Warser experience in my life

No help at all, just a bill save your money.

I took my pc in to correct a booting issue. The system does not boot consistently not that it doesn’t boot at all. I waited a whole week for them to replace a riser cable and describe an issue I was not having like they figured something out. They also proceeded to tell me that my system will only turn on if I have it upside down. I doubt the riser cable was even an issue as I’m still having the booting issue and system is still having the same booting issue. They have shaken my confidence in their competence. I guess I have to be an IT guy as well, even when I do not have the time to do so waste of a 120$. Just do it yourself, lucky I got my system in the same working order. They also put my cooling fan on sideways so I have that to look forward to as I watch the led screen play vertically. Fun times…

If you need parts for your computer, this is the palce.

I've been a customer since the 1980's and I'm gland they exist. With the demise of local electronics stores, it's nice if you need that certain part now. Little pricey, but they have a fair selection.

UPDATE to Did not receive product I paid for

UPDATE: The Dallas Micro Center manager contacted me. Micro Center is shipping me another computer. It seems Micro Center is not at fault. Lenovo and partners are recalling all of the affected refurbished computers.I appreciate Micro Center and Mr Green for correcting this matter. This is how a business should be managed.I purchased a refurbished Lenovo Legion computer from the Dallas Micro Center store. The store web site and the salesperson, Brad, both claimed the computer contained an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Graphics Card with 24 GB. However the actual specs identified using the settings reflect a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 with 12 GB.BEWARE OF BUYING FROM Micro Center

Worst online shopping experience ever

Worst online shopping experience ever My experience with micro center online was depressing I ordered some speakers for a Christmas present and when I clicked order now I was taken to a page that declared my cart was empty I received no confirmation of my order and no email confirmation I checked and my credit card showed the charge pending I called numerous times (6-7) over the next week and was told several times that the order went through and that I would get an email shortly with a delivery date To make a long story short I was lied to continuously by employees and misled about my order I finally attempted to cancel my order and was told that they could not cancel but they would try to get me to someone who could cancel it At that point I was hung up on And decided it was taking too much time and energy to resolve the issues After a couple days of hearing nothing back I checked my credit card and the charges posted I found a tracking link which declared my order was on the way and it would be delivered two days before Christmas after a day of checking and getting my hopes up, the tracking link changed and my order now showed returned to sender So now they had my money and I received nothing but a week long headache and a ruined Christmas present I’ll be giving my loved one a gift card now for Christmas thanks to micro center online and their incredibly inept employees Worst online shopping experience ever Shop elsewhere if possible

Deployment PC was not fixed

So I believe Micro Center is a great store to buy parts, but when it comes to the service of fixing or helping adjust simple fans to my pc, I would never go back to their customer support team. The reason being that I trusted they could help me install some fans and help me with cable management for my pc. As I didn't have time to do so because I was getting ready to deploy for a couple months. Then it turned into the fans not working for one, my mother board shorted out, and continuing to say your pc may not work but if you keep paying for our services, but we are going to continue charging you. So, after paying well over three hundred dollars, I believe it is best for the average or new PC gamer, is to fix your own pc regardless of the situation. As I cannot trust the integrity of Micro Center as I couldn't trust them to help me with a simple task, and now I have to pretty much start all over with a new PC and spend more money. After six months away I wish, I didn't have to write this comment, but I don't want any other person to make the same mistake I did and get abused by the services. I hope Micro Center can learn from their own mistakes and actually help individuals as customers and treat their own PC's as their own, as now I'm going to have to pay thousands more with everything being very expensive in Southern California and across the states. I know they have to meet a certain time limit, and fix it properly, but fix it properly than rushing to complete it.

Avoid the service department at any cost

I brought my laptop to the Micro Center service department for a BIOS repair. They charged me an $80 diagnostic fee, but ultimately could not fix the issue and provided no meaningful guidance or solution. What was most disappointing is that they refused to refund the diagnostic fee despite the fact that no repair was performed and no value was delivered.I understand that diagnostics sometimes come with a fee, but customers should at least receive competent troubleshooting or a clear path forward. Instead, I left with the same problem and $80 lost. This experience was extremely frustrating and left me with the impression that their service center prioritizes fees over actually helping customers. I cannot recommend their repair services based on this experience.

Updated. After reviews left, money refunded.

Bought a monitor. A week later, it goes on sale. They offer a 30-day price guarantee. I just wanted my $50 back.I live 3 hours away, so a 6-hour drive to get my $50 back in person makes no sense. A week later, with online chats and emails sent, but no refund. NO STORE numbers are listed anywhere on their site. Their automated email on their site is down. (I tried two browsers.) I received another email from the online chat—no response from it yet. However, since I checked the price of the monitor a couple of times now, I get an email at least once, if not twice a day, asking me if "I'm still interested in buying the monitor!"I'm at the point where if a human, any human who works for them, were to call or write me and say, "We're keeping your money!" I'd actually be happy.Update: after leaving numerous reviews, I got a call, and my money for the price guarantee was refunded. Updated my stars to 3.

False Warranty Information

Bought a $1,800 high-end Lenovo laptop from Micro Center Mayfield Heights that was falsely advertised with a 90-day Lenovo warranty, same on the store receipt. However, the vendor warranty was already expired at the time of purchase. I only discovered this after the motherboard failed in less than three years. I spoke with Customer Care and today with the store manager, yet neither took responsibility for the misinformation. Lenovo confirmed the warranty was expired. Very disappointing. Customers deserve accurate product details.

Not even worth 1 star

Not even worth 1 star. This company may work for local walk-in shopping, but it’s terrible for e-commerce. I purchased a TP-Link router that was supposed to support VPN, but it simply does not work. Technical support (outsourced to the Philippines) had no clue how to resolve the issue. When I requested a return, Micro Center said:“All shipping charges must be prepaid, and the shipment must be insured for the total value of the merchandise being returned.”On top of that, they wanted to charge me an extra $49 just to configure anything beyond basic internet connectivity. So between bad hardware, useless support, and nickel-and-diming customers, this was an absolute waste of time and money.

Bad experience with Multiple products

Bought an energizer powerbank UE30068 30000mah. Just worked for a short time and completely stopped charging itself and other devices. At the same time I bought an iPhone that had a faulty camera module.

I bought a new computer and needed data transferred.

I bought a new computer and need all the data from from the old computer transferred to the new computer. Initially there were some glitches. But a qualified technician at the store fixed some of them. The GM then had a technincian from Micro Center Prioority Care + contact me. That technician was also very capable and resolved all remaining issues. I was extremely pleased with the customer service that I received. SKIP MARTIN

Horrible customer service…

Horrible customer service for online orders. Website has issues, customer service is disjointed and unreliable. stock information is inaccurate. Wasted my time, I would not recommend them for any online or phone orders.

Repair service is a waste of time and money.

Took my asus laptop in due to the screen messing up intermittently. After a diagnostic was told my OS needed reimaged. Got it home after $350.00 and quickly had the same issue. Complete waste of time and money. Go elsewhere.
