MGM Hotel polluting Scottish waterways!
MGM Hotel - Tyndrum, Scotland.Irresponsible pump out of end of season washing water....pumping cloudy white detergent water (that filled the air with aroma it was so dense!) straight into a gushing stream that was joining the river the flows next to the West Highland Way. Pollution at its worst! Report & photos sent to Scottish Water.

Worst hotel staff ever experienced
We are horrified by the attitude of the front desk staff today during check out. We did know we had to pay resort fee because we reserved through Hyatt points. Reply: well we have it on our website (yeah we are expected to read every small print on your website). We have an issue with what you said and how you said it. Reply: that’s fine. (We don’t give a s—t about what you think.)

The MGM sportsbook app …
The MGM sportsbook app and their bonus offers are misleading and misrepresent what they truly offer IMO! I know they have changed wording in the past because of this very issue. I was very disappointed with not only that area but their lines, payouts and odds compared with Fan Duel and others in the industry! Just trend carefully and "Caveat emptor ". Thanks

Beware if you leave a deposit,
Was required to leave a deposit before staying in one of their Portugese properties and am still waiting for this deposit to be returned 32 days after returning from the holiday. Have not found the company very helpful and the whole experience stressful. Would not recommend.

Seriously overpriced & very basic
Seriously overpriced for what this hotel offers. No opportunity to sample local foods. I was self catering, but the kitchenette was so very very basic. There was no toaster. The oven didn't work &, although the grill did, no grill pan was supplied. The cooking utensils were minimal & very poor quality. The bathroom was really badly designed & it was difficult to get in & out of it. The safe didn't work either!I would not stay at this chain of hotels again.

Refused to add my name to a booking for…
Refused to add my name to a booking for 2 people, originally booked in my partners name, hotel refused to let me check in.. Snap would not give a reason for the refusal. Hotel said it was, booked via hotelbeds.com, even though I paid snap travel and only hotelbeds could change it. Snap also refused to give me a phone number for hotelbeds.com, citing bull about a,'security policy' It might well be hotelbeds.com equally at fault here. Either way, the art of customer service is completely gone out of the window. The hotel was Newyork Newyork in Vegas and they did nothing either, apart from try to rip me off for $500 for a new reservation.

Attendèd Clumber Park Hotel
Attendèd Clumber Park Hotel. Absolutely s*** service and hotel. Passed here a couple of times from work. Coffee cold and extremely expensive. Passed one evening around 9pm and they said they dont serve coffee at this time. A hotel that doesnt sell coffee at 9pm. I called because nowhere else to go after working late on the A614 even though the previous coffee during the day was poor. Utterly very poorly run hotel.

Complete scam…
We booked a stay for multiple rooms before the pandemic started. Unfortunately the hotel closed and cancelled our stay due to the pandemic. The problem has been getting any sort of compensation for them cancelling our hotel. They’ve held the money and continued to spill lies and false promises, with no intention of ever honoring. We’ve heard an abundance of excuses and left without reply for months. The way they speak to and treat their customers is utterly disgusting-from the hotel level all the way up to the central management.

MGM Vailankanni - hospitality par excellence
MGM Vailankanni - hospitality par excellenceI have travelled extensively, for nearly six decades, across the country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, staying in different categories of hotels/resorts. One of them which I would rate very high is MGM VAILANKANNI RESIDENCY (Nagapattinam District - Tamilnadu - South India). Definitely this property meets global standards in terms of hospitality, services rendered, hygiene (in the present pandemic situation, this is of utmost importance), courteous staff under the able leadership of Mr Haja - Resort Manager. The teams (comprising members of Front Office, Restaurant, Travel Desk, Engineering & Support teams) go all out to ensure that the services rendered are exemplary - this makes one feel at home. Besides, professional guidance & support are given for visiting nearby places of interest with the option of engaging the services of chauffeur driven car (owned vehicle which ensures safety & security).Well appointed rooms/cottages reasonably priced, multi-cuisine restaurant, swimming pool, plenty of lung space & greenery, secured vehicle park are some of the highlights of the property. It would not be an exaggeration to state that I had always checked out (have stayed a couple of times) with a heavy heart & at times even extended my stay to continue to enjoy their hospitality. A pilgrimage to the Shrine Basilica at Vailankanni turns heavenly & blissful with a stay at MGM. One has to experience to believe it...!!
