Terrible customer service in the 518
I have ordered from Mealeo before as like to support a 518 company over DoorDash,Grubhub or Uber. Tonight, I ordered a meal fo 3 so was expensive. . Estimated wait was 45 min. After order was placed it changed to 2 hours. Then it arrived at the 2hrs 45 min mark. It was ice cold. Literally like it came out of the refrigerator. My only thought was the driver picked up order and went to a two hour movie and left my food in a freezing car and then delivered to me after. I reached out to their customer service and got a email message from someone named Lei. She said “these things happen”. No mention of a credit to use them again or even a partial if not full refund. I responded asking for further assistance and never heard back.It’s sad to learn how awful their customer service is. I ended up deleting the app. It’s not worth trying to support a local company when they could care less about customer satisfaction. Don’t waste your time. Use a service that will actually credit you when something arrives very late or ice cold. Very disheartening as I really liked that they were a 518/ local company
