I called Krogers customer service

I called Krogers customer service, and they are no help at all! Why have customer service if they can't help you! Stupid!

Do not buy a Kroger Boost Membership

Do not buy a Kroger Boost Membership. Kroger will steal your money. I purchased a membership and halfway through the year, Kroger decided to discontinue delivery in my area. Well, 7 customer service representatives, 3 departments and countless explanations later, I have yet to receive the refund they promised. The latest communication is that I won’t be getting it.Dont risk the same thing happening to you.

Just how screwed up can you get?

ordered 37 items. Received 19 items, but "final" bill said they were all delivered. Included in the not delivered items were nine 12 packs of canned cola and 3 more 6 packs of 16 oz colas. There is no way that much of a bulky order could have be missed... it's far too heavy. When customer service was reached (In India I suspect) they were constantly apogizing but would give no ID's except "Chris" Not a whole lot of "Chris"'s in India. This delivery by Kroger itself leaves alot to be desired. I was promised by "Chris" that Kroger management would get in touch with me. I of course will be holding my breath.

It seems Kroger’s system didn’t recognize the payment method you used.

I’m wondering if anyone has ever run into any problems with online Kroger’s pickup or delivery, especially if you used an EBT, debit card, or credit card.I’d really appreciate hearing how you handled the situation. The day before, I went online to pick up groceries using my EBT, and I paid almost $190. The rest was supposed to be taken off my debit card. But it seems like the prices changed, and everything got moved around. When I got my items, they wouldn’t give me a receipt. I even went inside to talk to the staff before picking up my order, which was strange because they told me I shouldn’t go in there to talk to them, but they had my items ready, but there was no hard copy of my receipt for those items, and they told me to call 1-800 Kroger’s. I talked to them for about half an hour, and I told them they should be able to sort this out later, so I went home and checked the receipt, and it turns out they charged everything to my debit card, which is really frustrating because I have an EBT card that’s supposed to cover my food expenses.and they kept saying they couldn’t process an EBT. I’m really concerned that they’re not being accurate with their customers. Our Fresh & Quality GuaranteesIf you don’t love an item, we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund. At Kroger, we’re Fresh for Everyone.™ That means our customers can expect freshness and quality from every product they purchase, every time they shop with us. So if a customer is ever dissatisfied with their purchase, we want them to know that we’ll make it right. That’s our guarantee.

Most of the time they are fine but . . .

Most of the time they are fine for what they are but whatever you do do not under any circumstances go to the location in old Baytown, TX. 1700 N Alexander Dr, Baytown, TX 77520. So many problems and due to some of the problems they have overzealous and ridiculously rude arrogant security. I could go on but to save us all time just go elsewhere. There are plenty of other options close by unless you live in the neighborhood and have no type of transportation. If that is the case just get delivery

The Kroger on McCain in North Little…

The Kroger on McCain in North Little Rock Arkansas has to be the worst store in the US. I have shopped it for years because of the location alone. I keep hoping it will improve but it just gets worse. Poor service, out of stock, dirty and old.

The Kroger store in Olive Branch

The Kroger store in Olive Branch, MS could definitely use customer service training. I'm a long time shopper and was there for groceries on Thursday Feb 12th. I also picked up a Zaxby's gift card for my daughter. When I got to my car, I looked for the gift card to put in my purse but it wasn't there. I went back to the cashier hoping that she had just forgot to bag it. She insisted she had left it on the side counter by the credit card machine. It would have been nice for her to point that out previously because I thought she had put it in a bag. After two pages, the manager, Mr Chambers or Chamblis, strolled up and I explained what happened. He showed no compassion whatsoever as he told me there was nothing he could do. His whole attitude was simply, "tough luck and I don't care." The least the company could do is have the cashiers inform the customer when an item is bagged in a different manner. Kroger may not care about losing a customer but I can assure you I won't be shopping there again.

Purchased a AUTOLET LANCING DEVICE

Purchased an AUTOLET LANCING DEVICE. IT IS JUNK. The spring is to heavy, the trigger cocking and release are harsh and difficult. Had to turn depth up to 4, but it only works about once out of three or four attempts. Don’t waste time with purchasing.

Carnival Treats given the short shrift!

What are the corporate bakery managers thinking these days??? Here we are, one week before Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) and there isn't a King Cake to be had in our local store! (I didn't even notice any down in Alabama when we were traveling there earlier this month.) If they were sold out, that would be understandable, but they just don't have them right now! One of the bakery employees mentioned that they had them very early in the season this year (shortly after January 6th, Feast of the Epiphany) but they were put on CLEARANCE. I asked (in late January)for someone to please call me when they were in stock and never received a call and it didn't appear that they could be special ordered! Last year, it looked like they didn't even have King Cakes for sale until AFTER Mardi Gras! How could the corporate bakery managers be so ignorant of the culture and TIMING when it comes to selling Carnival King Cakes?? People tend to buy more King Cakes during the two weeks prior to Fat Tuesday and generally not AFTER -- especially in places outside of Louisiana! Not only has Kroger dropped the ball when it comes to King Cakes for this year, they seem to have dropped the ball when it comes to celebrating Fat Tuesday with other sweet treatss -- no Pączki (pronounced poonch-key)-- the rich, deep-fried Polish donuts made from a heavy yeast dough with extra egg yolks, typically served on Mardi Gras Day. In some parts of our state and the Midwest, there is a significant Polish-American community! Oh, but there's Valentine sweets galore in the bakery section... so many that they will probably have to put lots of them on markdown!

Oh my gosh!

Oh my gosh!! I understand that there is theft in stores, but this is ridiculous. I bought some women's make-up foundation. They had a security tag on the box that I had to read around. That is understandable, but when I get home notice a sticker that was plastered on the tube. I managed to scrape the sticker off the top of the tube, but now it looks like an old tube & the sticker that is on the tube won't budge!! I am pretty disappointed in the way that this purchase turned out. I saw other items I wanted, but I like my make-up bottles & tubes to look nice when they are new. It is really sad that thieves have pushed a store to this point & they make customers have to pay more for the products plus all the inconvenience because they want to commit a crime.

Between scheduling a time slot based on…

Between scheduling a time slot based on my schedule - past several times they sent notes order will Not be ready on time. PLUS when I place the order online is shows a few items out of stock. But when I get there to pick up order many items are not included. Plus, when their 3rd party starts to pick my items in the store and as they let me know items are out of stock there isn’t a button to cancel the order. I use delivery and pick up when I have large order of cases of water, fire logs, firewood - heavy items. Furious!

This is specifically for the Kroger…

This is specifically for the Kroger located in Denton Texas on West University referred to most people here as “Rat Kroger 🐀”. They exceeded the allowable number of rodents 😬 in the store a few years back and they were shut down until they improved it.

A new change

No love within the company nor to customers. It's time to make that change for the better.

Lazy employees

It was hard to shop this morning and all I seen was employees standing around talking and they had to move so I could get to what I needed. I wanna work at Krogers. I'd love to to get paid for doing nothing !

Lactose free sugar free

Kroger used to have a lactose free sugar free ice cream. They have now replaced this ice cream with real cream. I lived the lactose free sugar free ice cream! Im lactose intolerant and krogers was the only place in town that carried it but they switched it. I miss it and nowhere else to get it. Disappointed!

Kroger at Beltway and West Road

Kroger at Beltway and West Road; horrible customer service. Delivery service is a 50% you will get your order. Often stolen and Kroger manager at this store lies that Kroger doesn’t get the money as if customers too stupid to be Abe to read bank accounts. Blames instacart for getting money from customer account. Customer service useless; all in overseas countries so you’re going to get nothing but a waste of time. No effort for improvement over the years. Customers risk their cards being overused in the store; I’ve had a whole additional grocery bill being deducted from my account that had to be reimbursed. Kroger is 100% accountable for the contracted (INSTACART) to make the deliveries. Kroger immediately gets the money; customers risk whether they get the groceries. Over the experienced years nothing done to improve. Horrible

Kroger online shopping sucks

Kroger online shopping sucks. Some things are pick up only and others are delivery only. I am homebound and rarely make it to the store in person so it is a real inconvenience to find out some things can't be delivered. Wish they'd take a page out of Walmart's online experience because its mostly pretty good. I have issues will all retailers shopping programs but Kroger was my #1 store once. My local stores had the best customer service and the best clearance deals. no more and I hate that they hijack us with fees to join online delivery programs. What a racket they have going.

Delivery Disaster

In anticipation of inclement weather, I ordered essential groceries using Kroger's delivery service. My order was scheduled for delivery between 1:11 and 2:45 pm today, with the next available delivery window being around 6 pm. Around 1 pm, I opened the app, waiting for the status to change from "out for delivery." At 4:00 pm, I contacted customer service and eventually chatted with an agent because the app’s status still said, “out for delivery.” Somehow, the status changed to delivered at 1:52 in the app, and the agent saw delivery at 2 pm on her end. The agent spent some time checking with the delivery team to find my groceries. Then she advised me that she had initiated a refund, which I should get in 2-4 business days. Oh - and I also got a $20 store credit for my inconvenience! No explanation. Just ... oops...sorry. The agent was as compassionate as she could be - but I still don't have my food. Even worse, I don't have duplicate funds that would allow me to place an order with another company, and it's unreasonable for me to expect to place an order at 5:30 pm and receive it today, tomorrow, Sunday, or Monday because of anticipated bad weather. It became annoyingly clear to me that the outcome would never be in my favor. I counted on the Kroger name to provide a seamless and professional delivery experience, especially given the many commercials I see touting their refrigerated delivery trucks and dependable service. But I did not do any research before placing my order. Shame on me. Lesson learned. However, the fact remains that I engaged Kroger's services and, according to our agreement, I compensated them in advance, trusting they would uphold their commitment to provide the service and product as promised. They failed miserably and have forever tainted my opinion of The Kroger Co.
