Bad products, worst warranty
Vacuum fails after 2months. Still dealing with their warranty, which they outsource. I am told I need to wait another 2 months… to maybe get a vacuum that they still sell on thier website. A real scam.Don’t buy thier products.

Kenmore Elite vacuum not repairable
Purchased a nice Kenmore Elite upright vacuum and after 3 years of light use, the brushes on the agitator roller began to wear out. I called the help line to inquire about replacement roller and was assured that part was replaceable and placed a backorder. After 3 months on backorder, I received the part around the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays. Upon taking the bottom panel off, I discovered there was no apparent access to the roller assembly. I contacted 3 vacuum repair shops for help, the third claimed to service all makes & models and asked me to bring the machine and part in. Upon viewing the machine I was told that these models have sealed plastic housings that make repair or replacement of parts virtually impossible without breaking the machine. I then contacted Kenmore's parts division, Gardner, to ask for return authorization. Since my search for repair took just over 30 days, I was told they would not honor a return for refund. After explaining the situation, my request was escalated to management for exception. Upon further review, I was still denied and am now stuck with an $80+ new part and original packaging that can simply not be used due to an obsolescent design, when I was assured that I could replace this simple part at the time of order. Never purchasing another Kenmore product!

Kenmore canister no longer reliable
When my workhorse Kenmore canister vacuum failed after 25 years of great service, I sought another Kenmore vacuum. The machine lasted 45 minutes before quitting. Reading the manual, they recommend clearing the hose for potential clogs that causes the machine to overheat. So we did. The machine only lasted another 20 minutes before failing. The help line said this was normal. Normal? The firm was no help, but fortunately the retailer allowed us to return the machine. What a hassle and what a subpar machine. I never expected this from Kenmore, but clearly quality is no longer a factor in their production. Why anyone would put in their user manual that the hose often clogs and needs to be cleared frequently - a mystery. Designed to be problematic, apparently. I shall not be buying Kenmore in future. Unreliable straight out of the box.

Purchased junk Kenmore Dishwasher Feb 2025
Purchased Kenmore Dishwasher Feb 2025. The machine is a piece of junk. Shuts off randomly. Cleaning and drying is questionable to the point we are concerned with getting sick if unsanitary. The 12 month warranty is handled through Sears Appliance Services. We have had 6 techs out in 8 months with no resolution. The last tech concluded the machine was "not repairable" on his report. Kenmore Care reversed his conclusion without investigation. Machine was purchased on Amazon. Do not buy !

Kenmore dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and oven review
Although Kenmore’s products are spacious, there’s not much else to say. My dishwasher is so loud, and it does a terrible job cleaning the dishes. The refrigerator keeps things cold, there’s not much else to say. But the microwave is terrible too. It doesn’t even not heat things up evenly, it just doesn’t heat them up. Fortunately, the oven does cook food well. Overall, don’t buy Kenmore, but if it’s your only option, you won’t suffer terribly.

Bought Kenmore products when we redid the kitchen. It became obvious the original appliances were significantly better after 20 years then brand new Kenmore products we bought a trash, compactor, dishwasher, and a microwave, all Kenmore. All three of them broke. These are really junk products, do not buy Kenmore under any circumstance. They used to be serious products, which was a great company, but no longer they are pure junk.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
I have never been more appalled by a company! We have only had this water softner for 5 months and it stopped working completely. We had a Kenmore before and it worked great so we decided to replace it with the same thing. What a horror mistake!! The company gave us the ring around for a week before saying this wasn't a water softner problem. Our problem? HARD WATER. We called a professional and they agreed it is the water softner. Kenmore will not stand by their products because they are GARBAGE!!

Cheap and good: Kenmore DS4095 Brushless Cordless Stick Vacuum
Recently decided to replace the Dyson cordless stick vac that we use for cat hair, crumbs and escaped bits of cat litter. I didn't want to spend $500+ so looked for something less expensive with decent reviews and landed on the Kenmore DS4095 Brushless Cordless Stick Vacuum for just under $200.I've had it a month now and am very happy with it. The light that highlights dust and dirt on the floor encourage me (and my husband!) to do another pass and pick up everything. I like that I don't have to keep the button pressed to keep the motor going. It's a small thing, but it's nice.Cleaning out the dirt holder is much easier than it was with my Dyson, as the dirt doesn't fall back down the hose and empties out cleanly. I like that dust and hair form a nice little ball that falls out easily, rather than wrapping around the filter section and requiring me to go in and pull it out.Finally, it charges quickly, which is nice. Considering the price, I'm really pleased with this device.

Our Kenmore refrigerator failed in less than 2 years. The cosr to repair the failed compressor would have exceeded the cost of a new unit. Why is there a 1 year warranty on something that should last 10 years or more?

Poor customer service for a sub-par product.
My wife and I recently purchased a Kenmore refrigerator. We have purchased other Kenmore appliances in the past, upright freezer and stove. We purchased the refrigerator from Lowes Home Improvement. The day of delivery, I told the installers that the doors needed to be reversed as I previously told the sales person. They did reverse the doors, however once they completed the task there remained a black tube exposed on the top right of the refrigerator. After contacting Lowes they sent a team to repair the issue. After using the refrigerator for a few days we noticed that the refrigerator door was crooked and the magnet at the bottom of the door kept pulling away from it's housing causing the door not to close properly. I have repeadily contacted customer service and was transfered several times to no avail. Contacting customer service has been a huge waste of my time. Needless to say, I will no longer buy a Kenmore product. I'm considering selling this refrigerator at a loss and getting a more reliable product.

Very disappointed with Kenmore returns
Very disappointed with Kenmore returns. They state in the order email confirmation in red ink not to contact costumer service for returns because they don’t have access to orders information, and ask to only email to an email address, but that email doesn’t work. I sent the first email in July 8 to that email address and I have tried several times again and again and all I get is this:“Delivery incompleteThere was a temporary problem delivering your message to (email address I can’t post here) Gmail will retry for 46 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently” and at the end after many of those emails I got this: “ Message not deliveredYour message couldn't be delivered to (email address I can’t post here) because the remote server is misconfigured. See technical details below for more information” It clearly shows me that Kenmore is making it impossible to make a return. I finally called costumer service to see if I could find another way to make this return and she told me to email (email address I can’t post here) instead. Well, as per today I haven’t gotten any reply and of course the 30 day window they give for returns is getting over. So that emails address she gave me doesn’t work either. How convenient for them. I’m not purchasing anything from Kenmore anymore.

No Customer service for Kenmore products
We bought a kenmore microwave oven. I called customer care to ask a question about the operation of this model. I was told there was no one I could talk with and they would have to send out a technician to look at it and answer any questions I had.Don't buy from this company. There is no customer service!

Does not stand behind Product
I purchased my Kenmore canister vacuum less that 3 yrs ago. I went with Kenmore again because my last Kenmore lasted over 20 yrs.. You can just see how horrible the quality of Kenmore products has gotten. I would not be surprised if the parts are now made in China.. Customer service wasted an hour of my time without a acceptable resolution.. I will new purchase anything from or recommend Kenmore again

Kenmore is only a badge
Kenmore is only a badge or brand owned by Sears Holdings. Kenmore appliances are built by several companies one of which WINIA ( Winiadaewho ) which is a South Korean. Any problems encountered will not be honored by the vendor especially lowes you will only get the run around and no solution to warranty repairs. One freezer in particular had warped doors that would not seal causing frost and also ran excessively to maintain temperature. Thousand of these were manufactured and should have been recalled. Do not buy Kenmore because it is only a label and no longer means quality.

Kenmore 61212 21 ft. fridge is disappointing
We bought a Kenmore 61212 21 cu. ft. Top-Freezer Fridge to replace our old Kenmore. The new one is a disappointment. First, I could see tan colored goop coming out the edges of the door; it won't wash off. Second, it ran several day before it stabilized its freezer and refer temperatures. It still has a 5 degree swing above and below set temp. in freezer and refer. Third, the air duct in the refer doesn't diffuse the incoming cold air, but sends out jets of cold air. I try to keep the refer at 40* but still end up with frozen products if I put them in the air jets! Cuts down on usable space.

I purchased a Kenmore vacuum cleaner on 11/26/2021. It stopped working less than 8 month later. For 3 month now I'm dealing with Kenmore customer service to have the vacuum cleaner either repaired or replaced. I called them numerous times and filled out their warranty form but nothing happens. I will never ever buy another Kenmore product. Once a good product and customer service should be ashamed of what they have become

If I could give this a -100000 star I would. First and foremost save yourself and get nothing from here. Second do not get a kenmore fridge cause you will have to deal with this. My fridge went out $500 worth of food is tossed. They schedule me for an appt the next day. A guy comes saying he’s there to repair the stove. I laughed and said your joking right. He said no I don’t no anything about fridges. I call I get transferred 5x. Now I get transferred to the supervisor after a 35! minute hold (mind you every 2 minutes she comes on to tell me that we’re still waiting for a supervisor) now I speak to the supervisor and she then transfers me to kenmore warranty … guess what kenmore warranty is… the same number I called from the beginning and it took my nowhere back to pressing numbers for what department I wanted
