'lifetime' warranty from a 'green' company

The silicone seal in the lid of my wide mouth bottle – which is what prevents it from leaking – fell out easily when the bottle was opened, and quickly became lost. This is a major product failing.Customers needing replacement seals is common enough that hydro flask has a whole webpage dedicated to it. And yet, HF does not stock them.When I contacted them about this issue, HF did not offer any reason why they don’t stock replacement seals. I was told to buy a whole new lid, when it’s the silicone seal that is missing.I raised this with HF, who repeatedly dodged my questions and changed their story. I was told that the issue I'd submitted the complaint about wasn’t possible (!!), told that Australian Consumer Law doesn’t cover misplaced items (irrelevant), and asked to provide a video of the silicone seal falling out easily - when I had already explained I no longer had the seal ... due to the issue I submitted my complaint about. No refund, no replacement. I was offered a $3 discount on an item I shouldn't be required to purchase. This conduct breaches consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, which go beyond an individual company’s warranty.When I asked that my complaint be escalated, they refused.My concerns about HF’s failure to stick by its corporate responsibility statement - which asserts that HF is 'committed to making contributions to the aspirational goal of a circular economy through reuseable products, material choices and smart packaging’ and ‘We design for the environment to eliminate single-use products and to reduce waste’ - were completely ignored.Question whether you want to purchase from a company that doesn’t honour its obligations under Consumer Law, or its claimed circular economy and waste reduction values.

Leaky within a few months of usage

My girl got given a bottle for her 1st birthday and I was excited as the bottles seemed like good quality. We only used it regularly for a few months before it started leaking. I contacted the company but as I did not have the receipt they just ignored my email, this seemed ridiculous as I provided the serial number etc. I have dealt with companies previously who didn't need the proof of purchase based on serial numbers. I am disappointed, and will not be buying or recommending again.

Horrible experience, customer service not exist in this company.

I have ordered Hydro Flask bottle,was not happy with the purchase and contacted customer service, they told me they are busy and gonna reply as soon as possible,1 week pass and I have contacted them again. Now ot is already 8th of February and I still have no refund,no body have contacted me,no communication at all. I would love to believe that it was scam,but unfortunately I bought ot in official website. My suggestion is not to buy items from this company,as you gonna be ignored by the company if you will get a faulty item.Will never ever buy from this company again and will never suggest to my friends or family. There are so many great brands for the same price to buy.

Not really fit for purpose.

Was given the All Around Tumbler as a Xmas gift. It’s useless. The small hole in the lid means it can only be carried upright by hand. Otherwise the contents just spill out.

No delivery, no response from customer service

I really love the products, but the customer service is basically non-existent.I ordered two bottles and received the shipping confirmation quickly. However, even after two weeks, the delivery still hasn’t arrived. I contacted GLS and was told that it is Hydro Flask’s responsibility. Unfortunately, Hydro Flask has not responded to any of my emails.At this point, I didn’t know what else to do. Luckily, I paid via PayPal and was able to get a refund through their service. I am very disappointed and would not recommend ordering from Hydro Flask in Europe.

I will never ever order from this…

I will never ever order from this company again. placed an order 1st week of December, the order was to be delivered to a collections spot, the code was emailed and the code didn't work. Then it was sent back. It took damn near a month for someone to get back to me regarding a refund. I got a response on Jan 5, stating the refund will take 5 days. It is January 22nd, and still no refund. Apparently the UK, EMEA Hydroflask is HOT (UK) Limited. Absolutley do not order from them. Get it on Amazon.

Is anyone even there? Or is it just bots…

Would not recommend! Their communication is non existent. I brought a bottle over 5 weeks ago as a Christmas gift for someone and It arrived damaged. I followed all the instructions to report it damaged and request a replacement and so far have only heard back from bots insisting this will be sorted. I have tried following up but im still waiting on a reply and a usable drink bottle…

I contacted customer service to report that my package was open and appeared to have missing items. I spoke with either Melisa or Lisa, but the representative was not friendly and kept repeating herself as if i dont understand what she was saying. My package arrived in three separate shipments, and the shipping process has been quite slow. I regret not heeding the negative reviews I encountered, as I now have to navigate this unsatisfactory customer service and poor quality products. It would be beneficial for corporate to review call recordings to understand the unhelpful and rude behavior of their customer representatives.

Three Defective Bottles — Replacements Didn’t Fix the Problem

UPDATE! Hydro Flask has now sent me a fourth bottle. It kept water hot one time and then failed!I bought a Hydro Flask for its advertised heat retention, and it failed to keep liquids hot. Hydro Flask sent a replacement — also defective. They sent a third bottle — same issue.That’s three Hydro Flasks, all unable to perform their most basic function.While customer service did replace each bottle, repeatedly sending defective products points to a serious quality control issue. A premium-priced brand should not require multiple replacements, especially when every one fails the same way.Based on my experience, Hydro Flask no longer lives up to its reputation.

Useless

Useless! Went to wash the bottle before giving it to my daughter to use as recommended and the water seal on the top popped out and disappeared and now the bottle is useless as it will leak everywhere. Customer service is a bot which doesn’t provide any help whatsoever. Don’t waste your money

Adorable design and good insulation

Adorable design and good insulation, but the price feels a little high and the bottle lid can be finicky. Still a sweet gift overall.

Replacement lid gaskets on their way. (Under warranty)

I recently had a black mold on the two lid gaskets on my HydroFlask. When I contacted them and they are now shipping new gaskets. Wonderful!

What a joke!!! Bad bad

Bad product, terrible customer service.Purchased a Hydro Flask and the lid was leaking. Contacted them and after them asking me numerous questions and photos/videos, they sent me a new lid. This second lid is worse than the first lid. Contacted them again requesting for them to send a return label so I can return this crap but no, again, numerous questions and photos/videos requested. I was asked questions of where the flask is leaking from, I’m not a flask expert so I’m not a hundred percent sure where it’s leaking from but what I do know is that it IS leaking. Their response: Hydro Flask does have an excellent limited lifetime warranty, and this does cover manufacturing defects. Unfortunately, it does not extend to dents, scratches, chipping, and any damage or defect of any Hydro Flask® products caused by …. The flask is about two months old and has been leaking since the beginning so I think it qualifies as a manufacturing fault but NOOOO, not to HydroFlask. I think I’m now waiting on my third lid. I’m not sure because they seem to think I have nothing better than to waste time arguing about a freaking flask. In short, stay away and save yourself the headache.

Very poor customer/marketing service

Very poor customer/marketing service. A company who doesn't stand behind its words and policy. And after reading the numerous negative reviews, it seems I'm not the only one who has experienced such poor service.I would be very careful before buying any of their products, regardless of the quality of their quality.

No response to problem of rust inside the bottle

I purchased a Hydro Flask for my daughter 2 years ago. This summer we noticed rust on the inside bottom seam. I emailed Hydroflask at end of August. They replied promptly asked for photos. I have heard nothing since! I’ve emailed the person who initially replied to my email and no response. This is now November. I had chosen HydroFlask instead of Yeti but I will not purchase from them again

5* service, 5*product..

I had been using my 16oz wide neck flask for around 4/5 years with absolutely no problems at all, a couple of weeks ago my cap started to leak and I contacted hydro flask and was asked to send a few photos, I guess this was to confirm that the flask was genuine hydro flask? After sending photos and some details, I was supplied with new lid for flask within 3 days.. I must say I have never received, nor had I expected service like this with any product I have ever purchased.. Might I also add, the hydro flask is best flask I have ever used..

Horrible! Never received my order

Horrible!! I placed an order that was personalized with my son’s name. It’s been over a month and still didn’t receive it. I’ve called customer service a few times and was told it’s on its way. I asked for a refund and was told no. Their customer service is awful and full of lies!
