Worst tumble dryer in the world. Would be quicker to dry clothes if I hung them out in the rain.

The vacuum stopped working and can’t even replace it. Would not go with this vacuum company

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Our vaccum broke within its one year warranty but because we won it they wouldn’t honor the warranty we registered… lasted 6 months. Don’t buy their products

Terrible after care and service
Dryer went wrong after 16 months smoking and noise. Impossible to get through to a human and despite a 10 year part warranty wanted more £160 to just come out. Appalling aftercare and terrible customer service. Avoid Hoover Candy at all costs!

Don’t buy if you are Diabetic
I bought a Hoover Vented 10kg tumble dryer in Nov2025, model number HLE V10DG 80 U.K. we had trouble starting it from day1 but persevered with it. Our problem was starting the cycle using the touch button start/pause on the front panel, it took many attempts to get it started each time, and when it did start it would often do less than 5 revolutions before stopping.I’ve contacted Hoover customer services, to eventually be told the touch button start is actually a heat sensitive area, and responds to the warmth of the finger or thumb being used in the contact area.£160 was the call out fee if no fault was found by the engineer.I am diabetic and suffer with sensation loss in my hands, they are always cold as well. This seems to be the reason the machine does not respond to touch. The literature is misleading stating it’s touch sensitive, it isn’t it’s heat sensitive.I’m fortunate that the company I bought it thru has agreed to exchange the machine for a different brand with a mechanical start button. If you are diabetic with the same health issues avoid this at all costs.I’ve given it 2* as it did work correctly occasionally.I also ask why is the start designed this way?

I purchased this product in October…
I purchased this product in October last year and also paid extra for a warranty. Unfortunately, the product does not work as advertised. When I contacted customer service to use the warranty and ask for help, I was extremely disappointed. Instead of providing support, I was told that I “should not have bought this product.” This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for a customer who paid for warranty coverage. I would not recommend this product or this company.

Avoid Hoover cordless as only lasts under 2 years.
I bought 3 cordless vacuum cleaners last summer for myself and 2 children. Two of the three cannot now be used as the chargers have ceased working, will not charge. Each new charger will cost £111.38 to replace! Customer service are not interested, once you eventually get through to a human.I now have no confidence in the Hoover brand and will avoid in future.

Hoover cust serv sucks
I love my carpet cleaner, but I had an issue and contacted Hoover two weeks ago. I gave them the info they wanted and no one replied like they said. I then called them back and again no reply as promised. Their customer service SUCKS.

Bought a Hoover clothes dryer in 2019
Bought a Hoover clothes dryer in 2019. Failed within 6 months due to direct electrical short. Had to wait months for replacement that was blamed on Covid.Last February the dryer failed to start. Hoover engineer discovered that a 25p capacitor had failed. Confronted with either a £ 120 plus bill with no guarantee or £180 including 1 year warranty from Domestic & General. Recently discovered by online news story (not Hoover) that the regulator had become dissatisfied with the lack of progress to resolve safety issues and ordered Hoover to arrange home visits to thousands of customers for a modification due to a potential product fire hazard.Contacted Hoover directly who confirmed my dryer was a potential fire hazard and was not to be used and disconnected. I would receive a text for an engineer visit by appointment. Had a confirmation a week ago for the visit today and advised I would receive a 2 hour window time slot for this visit so that would’nt be kept waiting possibly all day for the visit. Last night they text that the engineer would arrive between 7:30 & 9:30am and demanded that parking access and dryer machine accessibility must be provided or the visit may be compromised.I removed the machine from its integrated kitchen unit location after removing various kitchen cabinet parts and unplugged it in preparation for the visit today.Just before 9am today I had another text to tell me due to absence no engineer would be attending today and I would recieve a further date/time visit offer within a hour. 5 minutes later I received a new appointment for a weeks time.I mentioned earlier I had paid for a years warranty which now is as useful as a chocolate teapot due to the current circumstances outside of the remit of the insurance warranty. Will never ever ever purchase a Hoover product again.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Brought a Hoover in Greece in May. The connection to the brush bar has always been temperamental. In October, it stopped spinning all together and wouldn’t pick anything up. Have sent it for a repair twice, each time promised it works but upon delivery same issue. Customer service from both customer service and technical are awful. No body wants to help us, we keep being told to send it back again. Why would we for the third time? Raised a formal complaint a month ago, no response. We are stuck with a Hoover that doesn’t work!!!!

Don’t purchase Hoover goods
I bought a Hoover HO9DC3E3078IN double oven on 6/12/25. I paid to have it fitted, whilst I was out. On my return, I noticed two of the decals on the main oven were partly missing/incomplete. When using the oven for the second time, fibreglass was poking out of the right hand side of both the top and bottom ovens. I rang to register my oven on 8/12/25 and complain about the above issues. An engineer came out on 17/12/25, who advised the internal panels had blown and he couldn’t fix it, so I had to return it to the shop, a 40 mile return trip. I returned the faulty oven and received a replacement on 20/12/25. Once again, one of the decals was incomplete and the fibreglass was showing through the internal casing. Whilst actioning the initial ‘burn-off’ process, the oven started displaying an ER 6 error code. The control panel was excessively hot to touch. I rang the shop to confirm I would be returning this oven for a full refund. I will never purchase a Hoover product again. Shoddy workmanship and cheap parts. Furthermore, your registration number doesn’t work for Ireland, you have to ring the UK. The UK office are not interested in your call unless you agree to pay €3.73 per month to cover the oven, else you are threatened with a €145 call out fee.

Awful customer service. AVOID
Really bad customer service. Cocky guy at the end of the phone. Our brand new tumble dryer arrived and every time we tried to use it it came up with an error code. These things happen but I found the customer service guy very arrogant and inferred we were the ones at fault. That coupled with the fact that where and how to contact isn’t clear at all means I’d be very unlikely to recommend or buy another hoover product.

Stay away from this brand
Shortly after purchasing the washing machine, the machine was added to my profile. This was supposed to give an extra 5 years of warranty. No receipt came from them, but the washing machine was now under my profile. Now 2 and a half years later, there are problems with the washing machine tumbling. They can no longer find me in the system, so repairs will have to be at their own expense.Very poor service, so I recommend staying away from this brand

Terrible experience with this company…
Terrible experience with this company Hoover Candy . Washing machine's been faulty from the beginning Three scheduled repairs and still not fixed as they dont attend the appointments and tell you an hour before there are meant to be coming they're not turning up Not trustworthy AVOID AT ALL COSTS (hoover was good company but I noticed 2019 the Chinese took over it so that will be the problem)

Hoover stick vacuum cleaner
I bought a new Hoover stick vacuum cleaner. I was pleased with it, but after about 8 cleanings, the battery ceased to work. I expected to return the faulty battery, and be sent a new one, and that it would be a pretty straightforward process, but after various difficulties with the Customer Support people, I was told I had to return the whole Hoover for a refund. This was difficult for me, it took a while for me to organise, and a couple of weeks for the refund to come through. But why on earth not replace the battery ? That is much more simple and environmentally friendly, and they would have kept a Customer. As it is, after this terrible returns policy I will never buy from Hoover again, although I have been loyal to the brand all my life.

We will never buy a Hoover product…
We will never buy a Hoover product again. The motorized head on our HF4 vacuum cleaner snapped in less than a year, and Hoover refused to replace it, claiming it’s a “consumable part.” This is unacceptable given the poor build quality — the wiring was already hanging, and the break was clearly due to weak materials and design flaws. Extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service.

Absolutely Appalling Experience with Hoover – Warranty is a Complete Scam
I contacted Hoover to report a fault with my condenser dryer, which supposedly comes with a 10-year parts guarantee. What followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.First, I received a call back from an extremely rude representative. Despite clearly stating that the machine was registered in March 2016 and should be on their system (I even have email confirmation), he claimed he couldn’t find the registration. When I disputed this, he threatened to end the call, saying he had “other customers in the queue.” His attitude was arrogant and dismissive, making it clear that helping me was not a priority. To get any resolution, I was forced to go through his entire registration questionnaire again—essentially re-registering a product that was already registered. After wasting my time, the “solution” offered was either pay £160 upfront for a repair or sign up for a £22/month service plan just to get a call-out covered. This is outrageous. The so-called 10-year parts warranty is nothing but a dishonest marketing gimmick. Without even diagnosing the issue or checking the fault, Hoover slaps customers with a £160 charge. That is not a warranty—it’s a scam.Hoover’s practices are misleading, unethical, and designed to exploit customers. Think twice before buying any Hoover product. Their promises mean absolutely nothing in reality.

Broken Hoseon a ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Bagless Upright
I wrote a review a few days ago about a Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner about a broken hose. This was my reply: Response from The Hoover Team:"Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding ONEPWR Evolve Elite Pet. This model has a 3-year warranty. We want to ensure that you are getting the best product performance and would like to gather more information and get your warranty information. Please visit our Hoover Support library ---links not allowed in reviews--------------------------to access our video library and choose other support options."This response did me no good as far as replacing the hose or the whole machine. When you go to the product support under available parts it lists a dirt cup and a brush. The response was from a no reply email. If I don't get a satisfactory response I will never buy another Hoover Product. All responses I have seen appear to be canned responses with no sincerity.
