I have the himiway D5 2.0 and it "looked " good, but had an issue contacted customer service - that wasnt a polite or even a good experience. the "bob" fellow wasnt very nice.I did send pictures & videosBob said there were no others having that issue. (?) on the facebook where bob was a leading mod,there were others posting publicly about bent derailleurs [apparently "bob" chose to ignore those.he saw my pictures & said there was nothing wrong. I called the number - left messageseventually Tim called back & agreed to send me the part, but the time was about to expire, So I opted to get it picked up. no one came I emailed many times, called & left many messages no reply so I filed a chargeback [dispute] then a different CS person emailed me and requested pictures & video's I sent those yes I mentioned the scheduled pick up.yes I mentioned the dispute, those were ignored she reviewed the pictures and video & asked for pictures of the serial # on the ebike I sent thosethen she sent the part [from China] the part arrived and was the wrong part - oh well it was a 7 speed and I installed it. I took the D5 out for a test ride & it seemed under powered. I contacted CS & was told that was vague information.so I made another video of the D5 & my 2 yr old 750 watt ebike [even at 2 years older, it had more power than the D5] I made and sent another video of the D5 & it was even less power {?} then the power stopped & it would not move by itself in walk mode or by throttle. she wrote saying they would send a controller.then wrote that I filed a dispute [finally she acknowledged that]and then was not sending that part, but a return label then no replies to emails or call messagesthe card company sent me a notice that it had been settled in my favor then himiway sent me threatening emails - oh well, my money was refunded.
I purchased the Himiway C1 for my grandson Nov 2025. After a month of of pure enjoyment, the bike would no longer power up. Contacted Himiway customer service to find a solution to the issue. FREYA was very quick responding and helping me find the problem. Wiring in The digital controller had disconnected. FREYA immediately assisted in purchasing another controller for the bike and now my grandson is back riding. Thank you for the help FRAYA.Tip: If you purchase the C1, you may want to zip tie the cables securely to the handle bars to prevent pulling wires from the control display.Thanks HimiwayThanks FREYA

My Honest Review was up for only few hours before they completely hidden review section on their website ... could not be more dishonest *Here is my original review:*I wrote them 5X over 2 years, after evaluating the C5-Ultra was the best dual-sport I found under 3000$ (Except Battery&Controller that are slightly sub-par, every other component is WAY BETTER than everything on market(& available in Canada*) I wanted to evaluate/review & push it to its limit in cold harsh winter, then promote it & become a dealer if as good as seems from reviews I watched . I already have upgrades/improvement designed for it for flaws already known(And Might Have try upgrade Batt+controller) I also asked them for accessories, I needed at least FrontFender & Large Frame Basket. ...They wouldnt even Consider Offerring Accessories in Canada, for this bike nor others ''dont plan to, at all, even if sales boom'' they clearly dont give a shit about Canadians and not willing to do anything to make sales in Canada. They push & promote the option of split payments but It has NEVER WORKED. Did not work with affirm then, does not work with klarna now, never have been visible at checkout, through app dont work either. No effort made to solve the problem even if I mentioned this many times , at this point with a garanteed sale on the line(+promote/dealer partnership), would have been easy by mulitple way to offer me a payments options , I even offered in 3 payments only, first payment 50%. IF YOU BUY AN HIMIWAY BIKE EXPECT ZERO SUPPORT EVER & PROBABLY THE DEATH OF THE COMPANY WITHIN NEXT 2YEARS WITH THIS BAD OF SERVICE AND TENS OF COMPETITORS. * One support agent(4th,Amanda) was really nice and really tried, but whoever above her who makes decisions and handles custom requests are Demonstrably just Greedy Lazy Imbeciles.Update : they replied to my review and proposed I contact them, I did, adressing to senior team in object and made a reasonable offer to them but got no reply. I Got great service and fast replies from EZbike and recommend dealing with them instead,whether you buy himiway or other brand.
We bought a Himiway c5, which we found out was a Big mistake. The Himiway c5 is apparently only built to use on dry surface. When you drive on wet surface you get so much dirty water from the Road/surface on your whole backside (from ass to neck) and your frontside (from hips to chin). The fenders front and back are so short than they dont help anything. They are for no use. The wide tires makes its much worth than a normal bike and bings to much water/dirt on you. When I wrote to Himiway about the problem they just make fun of the problem and the answer were that he could use raincoat !! Who wants to bike around in a raincoat of its not raining, But younhave to do everytime there is just a little rain on the Road. What an answer from a Company. Apparently they dont Care about the costumers.
Staffs are so helpful and accommodating. They assisted me in exchanging my order from returning to delivery of my new order. My son love his new ebike. Easy to assemble, awesome to ride.

I purchased my Himiway D5 2.0 e-bike online. It was delivered to my house. Assembly was easy and straight forward, just follow the manual. Quality construction is apparent from the start. The D5 rides great, suspension works very well off road, and plenty of power for this 215lb rider. I really liked my first Himiway e-bike! This Himiway D2 is an upgrade!! Lastly, Customer service is excellent!!
I was inquiring about the large rear baskets they sell for ebikes. I emailed the manufacturer to get the mounting bolt dimensions. They responded quickly with each email so I purchased a rear basket for my ebike.
Freya in customer service was excellent!I requested an invoice from 2021 on a Sunday and Monday morning the request was received with my invoice attached. You can’t ask for much more than that from a customers perspective. Thank you Freya!
I ordered incompatible parts with the bike,I purchased. Freya with customer support diligently and repeatedly reached out to me until I saw the emails so she could assist me with changing/correcting, the discrepancy I appreciated her due diligence. I'f I had a complaint it would be with the shipping I was under the impression My bike purchase would be shipped within a few days. By contacting customer support Freya explained that were in the process of restocking inventory and it would be within a month when my bike would be shipped.It would be helpful when going about trying to track the progress and location, of shipped items if the website would explain that inventory is depleted, and the time frame given on the site, of 2 business days to ship, can not be met and then give a estimated date for shipment of said items. I was under the impression when I purchased the bike I would receive it in a week or maybe a few days more. Beyond that so far things seem to be progressing. As long as my purchase is shipped and received I will be overall happy with the experience. Time will tell, and I will write a final review of my overall feelings with himiway ebikes. Freya is an important intermediate between Himiway and it's customers if not for her, I don't think I would be as patient or happy with my experience thus far , she is a positive force for Himiway ebikes
I would like to thank everyone that assisted me with my purchase of the A7 Pro. Your communication and response have been second to none and has allowed us to enjoy what I feel is the most versatile E Bike on the market today. I know everyone's needs and wants are different with E Bikes, but this bike DOES IT ALL! Anyone that is looking for a mid-drive, torque sensing, step through, dual suspension (that is AIR RIDE fantastic), THIS IS THE BIKE!! I can't say enough! That all of you again for the support before, during, and after my purchase! WOW!!Peter
Correct information from people like Freya make it easy to come back and purchase again and again from Himiway.
My Big Dog controller has burned down and I'm still waiting for a reply from customer service support. I've tried to call them inumerous times, but no answer whatsoever. I hope they're not stringing me along so my 2-year warranty expires and they charge me for a new controller.
I was unable to get information to Freya on my issue quickly due to a busy schedule. Freya kept checking in to make sure she could help. Very good customer service.
Sent a ticket into support as I received a bike from Himiway. There was a little damage to the box, upon opening and assembly, I found the front disc for brake to be bent. Support reviewed the ticket and promptly ordered a replacement part for me.
I had some complaints about the customer service at first. They were patient and understanding the whole time. In the end, I got more than I expected. Freya did a great job with communication, thank you. Now I can say that Himiway has a great product and the after purchase support is five star to be sure.
