Scam

I ordered something and I was using Apple Pay and so it picked up the wrong address so I immediately emailed and then also called them. I was told they couldn’t change the address even though I had immediately called which tells me they’re just a warehouse. I’ve blocked them.

Defective Item replaced

I was sent a product that was so adorable that I washed it right away so my son could wear it. Once it was on him i saw a defect in the color and a hole around the seam of the arm. I was pretty bummed but I thought I'd try customer service to see if I could get a replacement. They responded quickly AND sent me a free replacement WITH expedited shipping. So great!

Very upset about how they process…

Very upset about how they process returns. Accidentally didnt click 1 item and processed the return with out it. Now I have to pay an additional 7.50 just to return 1 item on the same order????? How slow and behind are you on a company that you cannot just go in and either fix that issue or let me put that item in the SAME box because its going to the SAME place. Not only that but I cant do just that and put the items with the packing slip in the same box when I purchased multiple orders. Im still keeping 400$ of the products and now im getting penalized for it. So now I have 4 boxes to ship and out 30 dollars on just shipping. Will not be buying here again since its not easy for me and my family

Horrible Customer Service

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 7 years, never had an issue, and for the first time, my package went missing. They flat-out told me they are responsible for the delivery, and the package said, "Delivery anything after that is not their problem." Disgusting customer service.

The unisex pajamas are WAY too tight in the legs. We bought matching pajamas and the men’s were ridiculous. My son and husbandAre 6’1 and 6’3 I was fine with inseam being 33 but the cutOn the legs were the laugh of the morning. I wasted a lot of money for them to be uncomfortable. Will not purchase again. The quality of the fabric was just OK. Very unhappy with purchase

⭐ 1 StarI was extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Hanna Andersson.My pajama set arrived straight out of the package with visible orange/yellow stains and appeared used, which is unacceptable for an item sold as new. I contacted customer service immediately and provided photos, expecting a replacement or refund.Instead, customer service blamed me for the stains, despite the fact that they were present when I opened the package. Being accused of damaging an item I never wore or washed was frustrating and unprofessional.Between the poor quality control and the way customer service handled the situation, I’ve lost trust in this brand. I would not recommend ordering if you expect clean, new products or supportive customer service when something goes wrong.

Update

Update: I finally got the package after I called UPS and updated the information. Had I not known that I could do this, I am not sure when the presents would have arrived. (The company never made the suggestion) The presents were well received. Though not on time. I updated the experience to 3.SO far a one, though that could change. I placed an order, and when I received the confirmation, the information was incorrect. (My fault) I called immediately, within approximately 5 minutes of the order being placed. The first agent I spoke to was polite but couldn't help and transferred me to another agent. This agent said she could not change the address because the order was already being filled. She put me on hold to ask a supervisor and never came back. I called again, and this agent said hello and hung up. The next agent basically said there was nothing he could do because I had paid extra to have the ordered item shipped. Looking at the other reviews, this appears to be the norm. Once ordered, they do not help. The address I gave isn't even valid. Not sure where they will deliver. This is the first year I have ordered online, and the last. 2 of 3 orders have been problematic.

Very poor customer service

December 10, 2025 I ordered clothes to be sent to my grandchildren for Christmas. I was supposed to to receive a 20% discount but forgot to put in the discount code. Within 30 minutes of ordering I emailed customer service who said :Thank you for contacting us here at Hanna concerning your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel, edit, or modify orders once placed. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause..They did offer to give me 20% off my next order.. There will probably not be a next Now I see why their customer reviews says: poor customer service, difficult returns, and issues with email offers/website functionality.12-14-25 Hanna Anderson emailed me and now says they will credit my charge card with the 20%discount. I appreciate it but not happy with the frustration I felt and time it took on my part to get the discount they had offered. I am changing their rating from 1 star to 3 stars. The company really needs to have better customer service.

I would not recommend ordering e-gift…

I would not recommend ordering e-gift cards from Hanna Andersson. I placed an order and it was canceled without any explanation. There was no clear communication, no reason provided, and no helpful follow-up. Very disappointing experience for something that should have been quick and simple. I’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I had high hopes for these PJs

I had high hopes for these PJs. We love The Nightmare Before Christmas so I purchased a set for me and my husband. First off, upon receipt, they smelled horrendous. I washed them once per the instructions on the label. The black bled all over the white trim, there is major piling, and there are small pieces of thread throughout. I really can't believe how bad these look after just ONE WASH. I left a product review and received a reply asking for more info. I did email customer service per their request and they did absolutely NOTHING. So pointless. What a lack of customer service especially for something priced this high. I do not recommend you spend the money on this at all.

A reluctant 1

A reluctant 1. More likely a big fat Zero. Used them for years. First time I had a problem this year on a significant order. No replies. When reply - information wrong and rude. Tried to reach out on phone too and no interest to resolve the problem. Was shocked. Will never use again. Shame if this is how they treat loyal customers. Thanks for the Christmas misery bo ho mo..

Honestly the dress was cute…

Honestly the dress was cute I ordered as a gift for my girlfriends daughter. It smelled a little like chemical. I paid for expedited shipping and it came late. I then returned it and got charge the $7.5 for the return and didn’t receive my expedited shipping refund. It’s a scam, there’s so many better places to buy from. Don’t waste your money.

What happened to the customer service?!?

Hanna Andersson used to have great customer service, but things seemed to have changed!I placed an order at 11:57pm. I happened to go back and look at something a few minutes later, and saw that a sale went into effect at midnight and now everything was significantly cheaper. I sent an email to customer service 30 minutes after I placed the order asking if the price could be adjusted. I certainly did not expect anyone to reply in the middle of the night, but I did want it documented that I had requested a price adjustment within 35 mins of placing the order.I called the next morning as soon as they opened, (so 6 hours after the order was placed) and explained the situation and asked for a price adjustment. I was on hold for 10 minutes, after which a representative told me they do not do price adjustments, and I would have to return the items and just place a new order. I also asked them to just cancel the order, but she said she could not do that either. I understand that there has to be a reasonable timeframe in which customers could request price adjustments. However, it certainly seemed to me that this was a situation for which a price adjustment should be given! I’ve been a longtime customer and a little goodwill would have gone a long way here. I’ll be looking to take my business elsewhere.

I used to shop at the Hanna Anderson…

I used to shop at the Hanna Anderson brick and mortar store- but since they are only online now, I ordered from them online. Decided to return a pair of pjs- had to pay return shipping, ok, some places still do that, BUT I was just told it take 4 WEEKS TO GET THE REFUND???? TERRIBLE. that's the last order I place.

Zero Rating deserved

Zero deserved. This company should not be used for business/clothing. My family has ordered here several times, I found how bad they are from reviews and this experience: they my grandson a toddler size that is completely 2.6 in. less that the 2T size dimensions on line! IVery short. I got no Customer service of any kind, email or phone, sorry we can do nothing. we now have event planned and must buy another holiday pj, and will do so with a quality company. The bot chat gave my daughter a return label, but with gift certificate instead of a return. As it was my order, my attempt to remedy a refund was met with "We cannot stop the mailing labels so this will take a month to get to some resolution!!!! I will not pay for another s/h , get another potentially poorly sized defective garment, but most importantly it is way beyond our event in 2 weeks., we need to find another company. This group treats customers worse than I have ever experienced!!!! They have now lost three family's business, we will hold a raffle for this small set, and seek a positive of a donation charity give away to find some meaningful way out of a dysfunctional and ruthless company.'s treatment. I will use it as protest for this company, as a way of saying NO to being treated like we mean nothing, No trust No humanity. My $150. spent here for my grandsons a waste of time. they should be happy we placed such an order in this time financial hardship.
