I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Sheilpa at Driving Innovation.Learning with Sheilpa wasn’t just about passing the driving test buts about learning how to drive confidently in real life. Every lesson was tailored to the areas I wanted to focus on, which made a huge difference. The environment always felt safe and supportive, where I could make mistakes, ask questions, and genuinely learn from them without feeling judged.There’s definitely no “backseat driving” at Driving Innovation, you’re encouraged to get stuck in straight away, but always in a calm and non-judgemental setting that really promotes confidence. No matter how many times I had to go around Pork Pie roundabout, I was supported the whole way!Gautam took me out on my test day and was incredibly positive and motivating. He calmly guided me through the test routes and manoeuvres, which really helped settle my nerves.Overall, I’m so grateful to both Sheilpa and Gautam at Driving Innovation. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough as the biggest thing I gained wasn’t just a licence, but genuine confidence as a driver.

Gautam at Driving Innovation went out of his way to fit lessons around my full-time work schedule, which made a huge difference. In under six months, he helped me go from being genuinely terrified of driving to a confident driver. It honestly felt like magic.Each lesson was person-centred and carefully tailored to my individual needs, which is rare to find. When I requested to switch from learning manual to automatic, this was handled quickly and with complete understanding, which really reinforced how supportive and flexible Gautam is as an instructor.Gautam is patient, understanding, and incredibly supportive, while still strongly emphasising safe and careful driving. I would highly recommend him to learners of any level who want to become confident, competent drivers.

Gautam has been amazing throughout my driving journey. I initially started out a bit nervous on the roads, but this went away in no time due to Gautam’s reassuring nature, giving me the confidence I needed to pass first time. I honestly cannot recommend Driving Innovation enough, especially my instructor Gautam. After failing a few times, my confidence was at an all-time low and I knew I needed a change. That’s when I switched to Gautam about five months before my test — and I can genuinely say he saved me.From day one, he was incredibly calm, friendly, and patient. His teaching style is so clear and reassuring that even the things I used to panic about suddenly felt manageable. He never made me feel silly for my mistakes; instead, he explained everything in a way that actually stuck and helped me improve lesson by lesson.For the first time, I felt genuinely confident behind the wheel and ready for my test. Learning with Gautam was a genuine pleasure. He explained things clearly from the start and really helped me to start feeling confident behind the wheel. One of the things I really valued was how he gave specific, practical tips for certain roads and tricky areas, which were things I genuinely wouldn’t have known without him. His patient and focused approach made lessons feel calm and productive without being stressful, which really helped me as someone who tends to get a bit nervous. He was also genuinely motivating and often shared bits of life advice through quotes, all of which surprisingly tied back to driving and helped me to stay positive, especially during tougher lessons. Sheilpa has been a really lovely driving instructor. She made me feel really confident and at ease whilst driving. Her explanation is really good and any mistake I made big or small she would identify the error and correct me. I only had 9 hours worth of lessons with Sheilpa and managed to pass first time with her. Best instructor there is highly recommend.
