Terrible commercial making light of a REAL allergy. This company is run by a bunch of morons who could barely read and comprehend and find themselves edgy like it’s still 1990. Their idiocy is probably why they think making fun of gluten allergies is funny. So my BS meter is calling BS on this company. Jokes like this are what get people seriously sick. Oh and anaphylactic shock can cause death you idiots. That’s also a result of gluten allergies for some people. But it’s no shock that this company is failing. Very inhuman company.
I used Harry’s and it was really good. I made mistake thinking it was DSC when I was buying more razors. So I got home and discovered it was DSC and said to myself oh well I always wanted to try them anyway. When shaving I thought it was an old razor but it was not, it was a new razor. Every new razor I used I had to go over the same spot 3 or 4 times to shave it clean shaven or as close as they can. Harry’s was one swipe and clean shaven. Don’t buy DSC as you can see not many or any good reviews.
So its February 2nd.My order was processed on December 29th and I still haven't received my order! Since then I've requested another shipment and haven't received that one either! The only response I get is that someone will get back to me!!! Totally unsatisfied as a customer for over 3 years!!But they have no problem processing my payment for 2 order I still haven't gotten!!!Totally BS
The worst experience I've ever had with a delivered product. I waited more than 2 weeks for the delivery, it never came. I was given all kinds of excuses like there's no apartment no. on the order, it's a one family house! During that time they went and manipulated my account to automatic order option. Why would I do that, I never received the first order!?Thankfully I paid with PayPal who got my refund. I contacted the FTC, there's an aggressive predatory agenda with this company, don't do business with them.
I purchased Harry's Original Razor Handle for Men about 4 months ago. Initially it worked ok and I received a decent shave while using it, Today I needed to change the blade. When I tried to replace the blade, the mechanism that holds the blade in place on the handle would not attach and lock into place. Basically the handle (and replacement blades for that matter) was useless at that point. Not sure if I just got a dud but I didn't take the risk and went to purchase a different brand of razor.
Horrible bro don’t buy
The blades are ok but the lubricating strip is garabage. I have had 3 strips fall off the blade on the first use. If they do stay attached the strips melts away leaving the metal to scrape your skin. Canceled my membership. Don't waste your money on DSC. I buy Harry's, a much better product.
After the initial purchase I sent an email to customer service that the 6 blade cartridge received didn't seem to worked well on my face. I did say the product supplied was fine.I asked to cancel my subscription.I found the next month I was sent more blades and another subscription we taken from my account.I sent further emails that were replied to by AI automated messages.After 3 months and 30+ emails of tooing and throwing with more blades arriving and more money taken from my account. During these emails I asked for a full refund of monies for subscriptions which I asked to be cancelled on numerous occasions.The last email received was on Christmas Eve, stating that had finally ceased my subscription and were happy to give me a refund of $6 after taking months of subscriptions from my accountWhat an insult. Very poor customer service
I've been a member for several years now. I've been getting the same blades the entire subscription. Suddenly, they start sending me different blades that don't fit my handle. I tried to call them, but no contact #'s that i find work!!! There is no way to speak to anyone there!!!! AND, they DO NOT answer IM's or emails, which is THEIR preferred communication preference. Screw the customer I guess. Go to Harry and David's. It's a better product anyway, which is where I went!
I recently decided to try the DSC razor after running out of my old tried and true Mach3 blades. I bought the razor with a three blade pack. On my first shave I totally noticed how it doesn't cut. It skipped right over my whiskers. I made five passes on one rouge whisker and it didn't cut it. I pulled out my Mach3 with two month old blade and it cut on the first pass. I cannot recommend dollar shave club and will be going back to my tried and true Gillett Mach 3.
I do not need to order razors very often, maybe once per year. The last time I bought razors was from the Dollar Shave Club because I have their handles. However, every time I order from DSC, their packages NEVER arrive on time! They are always several days late or get lost in shipment, sometimes never even shipped. They always have to reship an order. On 10/2/25, I ordered 4 blades from them. That last order took 12 days to arrive! And they automatically signed me up for a subscription. I did NOT authorize this! I don't know how or why someone at their company (or their website ordering software) assumed that I signed up for a subscription, but this really upsets and disappoints me. I will NEVER buy from this company again! I would like to report them, but I don't know where to do that. I also wanted to write a Google review, but they don't allow this unless a company has a physical site.
Had the 6-blade club delivered and used one of them. Indeed terrible quality and way too blunt. After complaining, company offered and sent for free a 4-blade package replacement which proved much, much better. Trying a different 6-club batch, they also sent free another one which again was the same (bad) quality. Conclusion: the 6-blade club leaves much to be desired but the company was very prompt in their assistance!
Blades horrible. Handles cheap and horribly designed. I canceled after 1 month. Blades wear out after 2 shaves and really irritating on skin.
Terrible razors broke right away I’ve had $1 disposable ones that do better than this
Placed and order for a TRIAL kit......DID NOT SEE ANYTHING THAT MENTIONED THAT I WAS SUBSCRIBING TO A MONTHLY RAZOR ORDER, BUT 30 DAYS LATER i AM NOTIFIED THAT MY SUBSCRIPTION ORDER WAS ON THE WAY. TRIED TO CONTACT THEM AND EMAILS WILL NOT GO THROUGH TO THEM.
Whatever ai they use for their customer service is super unhelpful. the worst customer service I’ve experienced as of now. Their quality keeps going down and they have absolutely no care for their customers and only want money but it’s pushing away much more than it’s taking in.
Dollar Shave Club changed the blades so they no longer fit the previous handle. The new handles are terrible.
I’ve been a loyal DSC customer for years because your original blades were amazing, sharp, durable, and perfect even for someone like me with thick leg hair who shaves multiple times a week. One blade would last me months without irritation or issues.But recently, I ran out of my old stock and bought their new blades and I honestly couldn’t believe how bad they were. They immediately irritated my skin, and by the next day, my hair was already growing back. The shave is rough, ineffective, and feels like any other cheap competitor out there. For reference, I tried one of the old blades I had left (already dull), and it still performed better than the new ones. This isn’t about my skin or technique. It’s about the fact that they’ve downgraded their product and lost what made them different. They’re no better than Harry’s or any other low-grade subscription brand now.I won’t be buying from DSC again and I’ll be making sure others know how far the quality has dropped.
Wish I could give them 0. I ordered Club Series 6 blades trial set for 7.00 qty of 2 expecting a total of 12 blades. I received 4 blades and can’t get them to make it right. I will never order from this crooked company again. Also no customer service only chat!!!!!Eileen A.
