crazy shrinkage

I am 61, I have worn Dickies relaxed fit carpenter jeans for work for years. Always happy with the fit and how well built they were.Recently I got myself a couple new pairs, and I got a couple as a gift for Christmas. Tried on as usual before removing tags, washed them in the next laundry loads, went to put them on for work and the waist had shrunk maybe 1-2 inches, they would not button, none of the 4 pairs. i tried a cold wash and line drying, thought maybe that would help, still way too small now.contacted customer service, they want pics of the bar code that's on the tag we remove before washing, don't have that, no receipt because they fit and 2 were gifts.they asked for pics of the issues, I sent pics of the jeans, they told me there is nothing they can do. Basically it was a wasted $180.even the front pockets are now made different and incredibly smaller.after being true to the company all these years and spending a ton on them, I will be looking for a well made pair of work pants, I will never give Dickies my money again!the company is now using crap materials to increase profit at the expense of quality and workmanship.*UPDATE*AFTER MULTIPLE EMAILS BACK AND FORTH THE DICKIES COMPANY STOOD BEHIND THEIR FAULTY WORK PANTS AND SENT ME A GIFT CARD TO REPLACE THEM WITH SOMETHING ELSE. THANK YOU DICKIES.

Crappy customer service

I ordered 3 pairs of pants. With no warning or reasoning only 1 pair was shipped. I understand things happen but no reasoning or update for the customer is unacceptable from a company as big as dickies!

Ordered 3 times and never delivered

Ordered 3 times and never delivered. Had to call myself the 3 times to check status to find out that online inventory and warehouse inventory were not in sync. They are apparently in a transition. Time to transition to another brand.

Boldly lying where no one should.

I ordered a shirt and some socks from Dickies.com and the shirt arrived quickly and in good shape. The socks never shipped, and when I reached out customer service they offered me a refund, gave it to me, then created a false shipping order that claimed to have delivered weeks previously. When I reached out again, they offered another refund which did not come through.

I talked to Megan C because I had a jeans that were way too big and I want to get an exchange and they wouldn’t do it because I didn’t have the original receipt. I explained for that my friend did not have the original receipt still will not do it terrible experience they didn’t even want a picture. They still have the purchase tags intact I don’t know how is she going to customer service it was just like a blank goal. Sorry we can’t do anything. Never going to shop at dickies again and then I talked to the manager and he still wouldn’t do anything. It was like a $60 pair of jeans.

I purchased two pairs of pants from…

I purchased two pairs of pants from Dickies, totaling $70. I was told by email they had been delivered; however, the driver did not give me the passcode to open my package mail box in my complex. So, I could not get them. I called for refund, never having received my pants. It is now over 8 weeks, and every time I call, the Dickies representative says the refund was issued, and that my credit card is the problem. My credit card denies Dickies ever tried to credit my account for the $70. Other companies have credited my card. I asked to speak to a manager but am told there are none.

Send me 2 sets of scrubs that were too big. Claimed there was no order number when I attempted to return. Kept my money. Horrible customer service. Too many other scrub companies to deal with a company that won't refund your money.

Ordered and they never shipped out my order called spent 20 minutes on the phone for agent to let us know that order will be replaced same story never shipped out the order . Let see what they're going to say on phone call # 3

The size of jeans waist is too small on carpenter jeans ordered for husband who has loved Dickies in the past, especially bib overalls. Attempted to return but have hit an obstacle with each try. He has decided to keep them as we are seniors and have no other option. However we would NEVER ORDER FROM DICKIES AGAIN!! Have absolutely never found such an intentional roadblock from a company during all our years.

They canceled an item from my order without my approval, and then they offered to sell it to me later.I added 2 t shirts to get free shipping. I bought the shorts cause I needed them. Couldn't return shirts as they were on clearance.

Didn’t ship my package out ever

Didn’t ship my package out ever , on FedEx it was labeled as “Label received”. On the 11th day of no shipping I called dickies. I was waiting on a customer service phone for 25 minutes , when they finally answered, they told me there was a error in their system or something and they’re going to send me a refund that takes ten days to process. Then they asked if I want to place a new order. Why would I wanna place a new order? Didn’t even ship out my last one??? never mind from them again. $150 order down the drain.

I Would give 0 stars If I could

If I could give no stars I would. Purchased over 1000 USD on new dickies. I purchased double knee pants and shorts. When I received them I was Immediatly PISSED OFF. The reason I bought Directly from DICKIES is, I did not want cheap hondurus made WALMART product. Pants and shorts material were so thin and cheap. Not like the ones that come from mexico. These had NO STARCH and creases were in the wrong place. 1 leg straight the other down the side. I have worn DICKIES since I was 13. I am 61 now. I will now start looking at the Ben Davis products. Dickies prducts have NO QUALITY CONTROL. To make matters worse everytime I call to customer service, their systems are CONVIENIENTLY down and have no way to look up my order. NEVER AGAIN. BE WARNED !!! THE HONDURUS MADE PRODUCT IS CHEAP AND WILL NOT LAST LIKE DICKIES USED TO.

Purchased a gift card online

Purchased a gift card online, then we we tried to use it we were told it can only be used in America. That was never communicated before purchase. We were also charged in US dollars, without confirmation or communication, meaning over AUD$200 extra was taken above the amount I agreed to pay.

Awful customer service

Bought 2 pairs of work trousers on 24/03/25. Said they arrived 28th. I came to work on 31st and they weren't here. They were 2 hours away at a different VW branch... while that's Yodels fault dickies have been horrendously useless. Contacted customer care on 31st, said they'd investigate. Heard nothing for 3 days, contacted again. No response. Went on live chat and they said they'd investigate speak to the person who was dealing with the claim. That was a week ago. Still heard nothing. Package was meant to be here 13 days ago, I'm £80 out of pocket and have no work trousers.

Horrible customer service !!

Horrible customer service !! I have always enjoyed the brand due to comfort and durability but the customer service is poor at best - as if reading from a limited manual. Would not answer questions except with repeating the same lines. Would not provide requested information and instructed me to call back again - this was my third call!! I will not buy this brand again.

I unfortunately can not give less then a 1 star because I would give a 0 if it allowed me.I had the absolute unfortunate experience of dealing with this clown corporations (if you can even call it that) a circus is ran better then this company.I made a purchase early January 2025, unfortunately my purchase did not fit so I placed a return. January 17th Dickies received their product back at their warehouse and stated my refunded will be returned in 5-7 business days.After about a week and a half and no refund, I called Dickies and they said ops there was a mistake, 5-7 business days was our old refund timeline now it’s 6-8 WEEKS. First of, that is absolutely ridiculous to wait for a refund when they’ve received the product back.Secondly - fast forward 9 WEEKS still no refund, piss poor communication with nothing but excuses. In fact , to try and prove me wrong that they did give me the refund they decided to send me an invoice proving they refunded me. HOWEVER THIS INVOICE WAS FOR A DIFFERENT CUSTOMER AND HAD ALL THEIR BILLING INFORMATION, ADDRESS FIRST AND LAST NAME - TALK ABOUT THE UNPROFESSIONALISM AND SECURITY CONCERNS. Absolutely ridiculous.I can not express the level of stupidity this company displays and the amount of certainty when I say I will never buy another Dickies product again.I have now started the process through my bank to refund my purchase through a fraudulent purchase since it seems that’s the only way it’ll go through.BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Shocked and appalled

I bought a pair of black cargo trousers which were too small they were around £45. When I tried to return them using the return label provided, they denied having received them despite me checking with the yodel outlet that they had definitely been sent back and they had. Because I couldn’t find my tracking receipt they said they hadn’t received them and refused to refund me my money. They were very much sent back using their own label and yet they had no system for locating them. This is basically simple theft. I wonder how many other people they have just stolen their money from.. I could not believe such poor customer care, I’m still shocked!
