Do not purchase Cannondale bike I…
Do not purchase Cannondale bike I purchased two $2,700 each bike the lady’s bike electricical burned out including burning battery terminals it was still under one warranty with 900 miles on bike. I had to threaten with legal action to get bike repaired I was informed getting parts were the problem 5 months before getting it back and it’s not correct will not maintain same speed have to peddle harder. I now have same issue with the men’s bike same model not and out of warranty so I don’t expect it to be repaired having no leverage. Do not buy their product very expensive will not hold up and unrepairable. You can spend half the price for a bike that will last longer.

A $6,000 Bike and Zero Support — Truly Disappointing
own a Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-MOD Disc 2023, a high-end bike worth around $6,000. After only two years, the “Cannondale” logo on the top tube began peeling off. It’s a cosmetic issue, but one would expect some level of support or solution from a premium brand.I contacted Cannondale Europe multiple times, providing the model, serial number, and even my address. Their responses were confusing, vague, and completely unhelpful. They kept telling me to “contact a local dealer” without offering any clear guidance, despite having all the information needed to assist me.Finally, I reached out to Cannondale North America, hoping for a more professional response. Their answer? That decals are “not available to the public under any circumstances.” Instead, they pointed me to a third-party website not affiliated with Cannondale to try to solve it on my own. This is completely unacceptable for a brand in this price range. No official solution, no replacement part, not even the ability to purchase the logo that defines the product. A $6,000 bike should not come with zero support after such a short time — not even for something as basic as a brand decal.Shame on Cannondale for how little they care once the sale is made.

No post sale support. Rude customer service
I have a several thousand dollar trial race bike from Cannondale. One small part needs to be replaced. That part is out of stock everywhere, and is rather easy to make. However, Cannondale support refuses to provide documentation for the part, or any dimensions. The customer service agent, Dave, literally suggested to use the power of the internet to crowdsource the part when he also confirmed Cannondale keeps part files of past bikes.

Not buying anymore
Bottom bracket ruined after 3 months of use?!?! And the rear wheel needs truing as the tension of the spokes is loosed?!?! I'm never buying Cannondale anymore in my life, as tried to contact them they told me to contact my store I bought, the store Evans cycle is playing dumb.

There is a reason they don't sell many bikes they are the same quality of a box store. Maybe just above some as the components will be better. But the bike is still junk!

Lost $5000 and got metal scarp Cannondale Motera Neo 5
Almost two years ago, I bought a brand new Cannondale Moterra Neo 5 for around $5000 from an official dealer in Indonesia — and it's hands down the worst bike purchase of my life.About a month in, the Shimano battery died, and the bike wouldn't turn on. They replaced it under warranty, but it took a whole month. A couple of months later, the bike had another charging issue due to faulty contacts — another two weeks in the shop. Then the motor broke down. They replaced it under warranty too, but this time it took five months. While waiting for that repair, the power button stopped working — now they're saying I have to wait another 45 days for that fix.So in two years of owning this bike, it's spent over six months in repairs — and it'll probably stay there even after the warranty expires, which honestly feels like a strategy to avoid further claims about the bike's awful quality. On top of that, none of the replacements come with any paperwork, so I can't even be sure they're installing new parts.I tried reaching out to Cannondale's official distributor in Indonesia, but they're just straight up ignoring my messages. Maybe someone here actually reads customer complaints? Before this, I had a cheap Chinese e-bike that ran flawlessly for two years without a single issue. Cannondale charges premium prices for terrible quality and zero service. Now I'm preparing to t

Spent more on repairs than the bikes worth.
I spent 900.00 on a bike that I now have 1000.00 in repairs on. Three years old, I have replaced six derailer hangers, three derailers, a dozen spokes, three tubes, and a rear gear sprocket, and I am about to replace the shift cables that are starting to fray. The parts on the bike are cheap and not well "fit" together. I ride the bike six months a year doing unchallenging rides. The dealer was only sympathetic up to the point. I had him work on the bike six hours before I finally got the chain to stay on.

Sliding of saddle post
I have several high end Cannondale bicycles including EVO road bike, Lefty MTB and slice TT bike. I give three stars as the price - performance of the frame/bike is very good.I tend to agree with other reviewers that they seem to care zero if problems occur. With my TT-bike the saddle post was from the start sliding down after ~30km riding making the bike useless. I tried various things like carbon paste, slightly tighter fixing than the recommended 4 Nm and so on. There was some success with these and especially with the advice from the dealer to push the saddle forward/backward hard and tighten again.Asking Cannondale if this problem is unique I never received an answer and I would even have considered to buy a new saddle post if that would fix the problem permanently. Asking them directly or over the dealer they seem not to give any answer. Very disappointing that they do not care and share even simple info.

Terrible company on many levels
I bought a Cannondale bike at Evan’s bike store a little over 12months ago. I ride to work which isn’t far had the gear cassette on the rear wheel fall off mid ride which led to some spokes breaking and the back wheel falling off. I took the bike to Evan’s and despite never crashing the bike, was told under their accident repair scheme, I could get a discount on another bike. I had already paid £900 for a new bike 12 months earlier and was now being asked to pay another £750. I told the evans rep I wasn’t happy with this and he advised me to contact the cannondale team directly. I have been trying to contact them for about 4 weeks now with no response whatsoever. Hoping this message prompts someone to get in touch.

Bottom Bracket cane loose after 200 km
Bottom Bracket cane loose after 200 km. No space for lock ring. Only temp solution is red loctite. Awful unreliable bike, and deliberate omission of a contactable email on Cannondales website. Zero customer service, and frustrating ownership. Bike was 1450 euro. If worked I would value it at 150 euro. Rock bottom quality.

I can’t give them a zero so it will…
I can’t give them a zero so it will have to be one star. When my carbon frame failed around the bottle cage mount the UK distributer told me in their view this wasn’t covered by the ‘lifetime’ warranty and to contact Cannondale in the US if I wanted to take it further. The problem is that they ignore both emails and posts / messages via social media.Their bikes are great to ride when they work but their customer service is atrocious and their warranties aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.

Will never buy a Cannondale again
Will never buy a Cannondale again. Bike had components far inferior to the advertised spec. Bottom bracket failed in first year and they refused to warranty. I have bought dozens of bikes in the past - they are by far the worst experience I have ever had.

Appalling
I bought a £5000 Tesoro Neo X from my local bike store in August 2023 which made creaking noises almost from day one.....like cycling with a very noisy comedy mouse. Eventually this gave way to a horrible grauching metal sound. My store finally got Cannondale to admit it was the frame but after months of waiting and calling I am still without my bike or a new frame. Appalling customer service and by far the worst bike I've owned. Upsetting for both myself and the bike store.

CANNONDALE Topstone Carbon Rival AXS…
CANNONDALE Topstone Carbon Rival AXS 2023After 10 months with no problems the rear derailleur broke off frame due to chain seizing for no apparent reason (no crash, and I didn't hit anything). Bike was assembled by a professional bike shop and was within 1 year warranty but Cannondale did not reply to me after I contacted them twice over 3 weeks. My local dealer contacted them and Cannondale will not cover the repair as part of the warranty. Is this how anyone would want to be treated after spending > 3000 euro?

No customer service at all
I own a Cannondale CAADX that is subject to the fork recall. I've been trying on and off to get the fork replaced.I am happy to simply receive a fork and fit it myself as I'm comfortable working on bikes. However, at every turn this process has been made completely impossible.I tried dealing Cannondale via twitter and I was told to message my local dealer. I've honestly emailed and called this shop 5-10 times since covid and I'm always told they'll get back to me. I usually try to be understanding in these situations but honestly I'd go so far as to say this shop is utterly useless. I'd never buy another Cannondale and now I'm left with a bike I can only sell in good conscience by disclosing that their fork might fail, worst case scenario causing death (as in the case of the reason for the original recall).

Super disappointing
Super disappointing. Bought Topstone 4 and bottom bracket was gone in 8 moths, so has the freehub that needed servicing. The whole bike started creaking. Feels cheap. Maybe it's the bottom of the range, but it's still not cheap. Pay a tiny bit more and get a Canyon, that has been a real delight.

Bought into the cannondale hype and got a Topstone 3. BB is soft and low quality, FSA chainset weak, Sora derailleur rubbish changes. Otherwise a solid bike. Change these out and enjoy.

Carbon frame cracked. "Obsolete" 3 year old bike. Lousy warranty.
My 3-year-old Cannondale Carbon Synapse experienced a spontaneous frame crack with just regular road riding--no crash. I purchased it new for over $4000 in November 2020 at REI. It had top of the lineDuraAce components. Cannondale agreed to replace the frame under warranty, but replaced it with a 2024 model frame which has a different size bottom bracket and seat post, making my current crank and seatpost unusable. According to REI, my old Holographic crank cost $800-$1000 new, but it cannot be used on the replacement frame. Cannondale says the warranty does not cover incompatible parts when the bike is "obsolete." They consider my three year old bicycle to be obsolete. New similar quality compatable parts cost me $1001. Labor cost covered by REI cost $400. Cannondale offered me a free helmet to compensate me.Don't expect much from Cannondale. On line, I read of similar experiences. I suspect Cannondale just produces low quality frames prone to cracking.

Cannondale: Bad quality control and customer service
I ordered a Cannondale Moterra Neo ebike in January of 2024. It was delivered a week later to my local dealer with the electric motor inoperable due to not having been configured at the factory. I called Cannondale and opened a help ticket, but never heard back from them. The bicycle was eventually fixed by a Trek dealer because my Cannondale dealer was not Bosch certified and couldn’t get the necessary software. It is sad to see how far this company has fallen after bankruptcy and being sold at least twice. This is the last Cannondale I will buy because it seems that Cannondale thinks it is OK to not do a basic health check on a $7500 ebike. Thirty seconds to glance at a screen is apparently too much time to dedicate to quality control. Also, following up on help tickets is not necessary. Like wise, requiring that your ebike dealers show proof of current Bosch certification is not necessary even though Bosch has a death grip on support software and will only allow mechanics with current certifications to download the support apps.
