There is not option of zero, but this is my opinion. I purchased a baby crib, when it was delivered was broken. The quality was terrible and I decided to send it back. It still imposible to reach costumer service. They take forever and don’t respond in weeks. It will be four months. If you want an advise, don’t buy in Buybuy BABY unless you are able to lose your money and have bad time.
Purchased a crib and mattress on-line from Buy Buy Baby for my grandson in December of 2024 He was born prematurely and spent 4 months in the NICU. Now that he is home we are assiting with his care. The crib and mattress were shipped via FedEx and both arrived with the packaging severly damaged. The crib box was battered, torn and had a hole in it. When we opened the box there was a hole punctured in the mattress board. The mattress packaging was torn with tears and cuts in the mattress and very dirty. We reached out to FedEx and were advised to contact the company. Had to use a chat as there was no number to call which took one hour. We requested shipping lables to return the damaged items. What followed was 2 months of the most time consuming and inappropriate suggestions you can imagine. Was told they were assigning someone else to our problem and asked me to be patient. Then asked me to repackage the items and send more photos. Followed this by saying they were reaching out to their suppliers and would send us replacement parts to fix the crib ourselves! Advised them this was not acceptable for our NICU grandson and I was not going to fix the items myself. We simply wanted shipping labels. Then continued 7 interactions. They promised shipping labels. The next week they said their machine was broken and to please be patient. After a month they finally asked us to "CUT THE MATTRESS BY MAKING CUTS ON BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK AND BREAK THE CRIB SLATS ON BOTH THE FRONT BACK SIDES." Take pictures and send them before they would issue a refund. We did not believe them! The credit card company finally intervened and credited out account for the purchases. It took a full 2 months to get to this point. I would give them a zero if that was an option. Please do not purchase from this company!
This is the worse company beware I buy a $200 crib for my grandson and FedEx left my package outside my building and I live on the 4 floor I receive a picture from FedEx and I was omg I’m at work why didn’t not left my big package at my door remember this is a crib so the box was biggg well of course wen I cam home from work my package was gone I contacted buy buy baby the next day via email because no phone number was found we’ll is been like 3 month and guess what no refund and no credit they said that I take long to report the problem lol I have all the evidence and pictures of proof at what I’m talking short story was I never received my crib no refund not another crib and not even a credit so technically they stole 200 dollars from me bout guess what never ever again buy nothing from this company beware
Cancelled all gift cards and just kept the money even though we had purchased it only a few months ago. This company does not care about customers. We will never give them another cent, and neither will the family members who gifted us the card.
I ordered my daughter’s crib from BuyBuy Baby with an expected delivery date of late November 2024. Then, I was informed of a delay, pushing the delivery to late February/early March 2025. It’s now mid-March, and I STILL haven’t received it!To make matters worse, I can’t even get a response from BuyBuy Baby’s customer service. Their email no longer works, and there’s seemingly no way to contact them for an update. This is beyond frustrating—how does a company selling essential baby items treat customers like this?I’ve waited over four months for a crib that was supposed to arrive before my baby was even born, and now I’m left with no answers and no product. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them unless you’re prepared for endless delays and zero customer support.
BBBaby sent the wrong stroller and through endless emails back and forth promises were made to make things right, but they never did. I ended up going straight to the stroller manufacturer who resolved the issue within 48 hours.
AVOID - Returns are impossible and the quality of the clothes is really bad. The sizing is completely off too. Customer service is awful!
They make it nearly impossible to return an item. They are now wanting me to upload pictures of what I am returning, even though I have an order number. There is no easy on-line return. You have to email them and then they send back what seems like an AI generated email that is not helpful. This return is only for two baby outfits. I feel like I'm getting the run-around. Will never shop here again.
The worst customer service ever. FedEx damaged my package and said they’d replace it and I still can’t get BuyBuy Baby to send a replacement. Will not ever purchase again and will give all the negative reviews possible.
UPDATE: Managed to speak to a supervisor who did match their sale price and even credited the difference in the tax, so very pleased with that, but had to threaten a small claims suit first. The stroller value is good. They are making us go through the stroller warranty route with the manufacturer, rather than really standing behind the product and exchanging it, so not sure how that’s going to go. — Bought a premium stroller that arrived broken. No luck so far exchanging it and because we opened it they are saying it’s not returnable! We would not know that it was broken without opening it. Also, less than a week later it’s on sale for $153.01 less and they are not price matching!!! We can’t get to a supervisor. Outrageous to pay so much for a dangerously broken product.
Customer service is the worst. I worked for Buybuy baby registry for three years. Worked so hard on my registry clients so I get calls saying they will not buy again due to service . They are now bankrupt here . Understandably.I am all for people getting jobs in foreign countries but hell….. half the time it’s from people that don’t care …Shameful do not buy on line with them in Canada ….. you will be sorry
Why did not I read these reviews before spending money on this site?The website says purchase 500 usd+ and get 150 usd+ gift card. It is a scam. They just add that gift card into your cart without your permission, you dont see it and purchase it. 24 hours passed, noone responds to my requests + they do not confirm my order. But they charged my card. They also lie about the free shipping part. The announcement bar of the website says free shipping on $49+ orders but it is a lie. They still charge you the shipping fee. Such a scam and shame !
Avoid purchasing from them. Bought a $103 lighted changing pad. Was shipped a toy. I've been dealing with 5 different representatives to solve my issue to no avail. Rip off they said that I will receive my ordered item once I ship back the toy. It's been 2 weeks and nothing. They stopped replying to emails and don't offer a phone number. TOTAL SCAM!!!
Buy buy baby they have the worst customer service I never got my order, I contacted them and give all what they want from me and they said to give them 24-48hrs and they never responded back. All I want was a replacement.
I was going to order an expensive car seat (aren't they all?) because the landing page showed (what appeared to be) an offer of a $150 gift card with a $500+ order. I added the $549.99 car seat to my cart and the site added the $150 gift card as an extra purchase for a total of $699.99. I tried contacting them via chat and email with no response to either. I have screen shots. Needless to say, I ordereed from another merchant.

Order never arrived even tho it said it was delivered and signed for, asking everyone who lived in area but no-one had received it, don't order its a scam site and they are just out to get money off everyone without any item in return,
