Tried to switch my subscription from extra to original and then got charged for both. Also shipped to wrong address that I updated. Also now it says my subscription is inactive which I did not cancel so now I cannot cancel it. Cannot find anyone to contact other than their dumb AI bot. DO NOT BUY FROM IPSY!!!!!!!!

Ipsy lost my boxes for 300 USD
Ipsy lost for my Ipsy Ultimate November 2025 box and IPSY Extra October box, also 3 orders from Ipsy Shop were never delivered. That’s Order number: #o_16maf-i-midg2vje, Order number: #o_9873jn-i-mgnou0mo and Order number: #o_x3e2yl-i-mgnki1cuThe reason why all my orders since October were not delivered is because IPSY changed my delivery address, actually cropped it without letting me know of course.I had severe health issues and was not able to pay more attention to this earlier, but when I find out I was very upset. It was around 300 USD loss for me and IPSY support literally refused any investigation or support on this case. I was a client for more than 2 years, many orders but this ignorance to systemic issues was just the last drop. It is not worth it. Better to buy what you want on Sephora or Cult Beauty or buy AllureBox instead, never happened anything like that with them. I can’t imagine how shop just randomly cropped my delivery address(which was fixed in the cabinet and valid for orders for years, no problem with delivering items before October 2025, no missed box) messed up it, no response, no investigation, nothing. Ipsy Care just completely ignored my case. Strongly advise against subscription. It is sad because it was my favourite and I spent a lot of money in the past and had a lot of joy with orders.

These people are garbage. I canceled my membership- they charged my card anyhow. And to add to their trashy business practices, I NEVER GOT THE ORDER. They ignore emails, and they have zero customer service. I regret ever giving them my information, and I'm telling literally anyone I can about this. I'm going to FB, Instagram, X, any social media I have to warn people about these thieves.

Dangerous Product Received - Ipsy Does Not Care!
I subscribe to a monthly glam bag from Ipsy that includes 4-5 products. This month, one of the products, a lip plumper, instantly burned my lips to the point I almost had to ice them to cool the burn. The burning receded, but lingered for several hours. I had someone else try the product with the same effect. I contacted Ipsy customer support and explained what happened.Her reply:Please know that we take reports like yours very seriously. We’ve escalated your feedback to our brand and quality assurance teams so they can review this product and ensure it meets safety standards. While IPSY works closely with our brand partners, we recognize that reactions can still occur, and your report helps us improve safety and selection for all members. Your membership and trust are very important to us, and I truly hope we can resolve this in a way that feels fair to you. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed so we can take immediate action.My response:Hi (Rep's Name), Thank you for your response. Thank you for escalating my feedback to the teams. I hope the product is checked thoroughly for safety. It’s concerning that it has been sent to other Ipsy members who might not say anything but suffer the bad effects. I would like a refund for that product. I know it’s a small amount, but it’s money spent for a product I can’t use. Please refund to my credit card. Her response in part:At this time, we aren’t able to issue a refund for individual products included in the monthly Glam Bag, as all sales are final per our Terms of Use. I understand this may be disappointing, especially when a product cannot be used, and I sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused.She asked me how I wanted to proceed, then refused to help. This is not right to keep money for an unusable and dangerous product and tell me "tough." The $3.00 I asked to be refunded was all I asked for. I feel it is a reasonable request, especially after dealing with burning lips for several hours. The company should back up its stance that its members matter, ensure products are safe, and issue refunds when justified, as in this case.

Missing items,no proper resolution
l'm extremely disappointed with my experience with IPSY.l paid for a January 2026 IPSY Original+Add Ons order,but 10 items were never delivered.After contacting customer support multiple times,the process turned into an endless loop of automated responses and repeated questions.Instead of resending the missing items,IPSY sent a replacement package with incorrect and duplicate(not for resale) products-items l had already received before.The value of these replacements was significantly lower than the original products l paid for(brands like Tatcha,Rare beauty,Saie,Briogeo,NARS,Amika).The issue hasn't been properly resolved.It feels like customers are being worn down until they give up.If items are out of stock,IPSY should be transparent and issue refunds promptly,not send random substitutes and delay the process.l expected much better customer service from a company of this size.Sadly,l don't recommend IPSY based on this experience

I have a IPSY extra account, and I have been charged twice in a month and received no packages. I tried canceling my account, and the app led me through a loop that never let me cancel my subscription. I can't even take my banking information out. To make matters worse, the AI customer service was extremely poor quality and it couldn't even send the verification code to my email. Very poor experience, very upset.

Scammed my mom. They sent her January package to the wrong address ,that she hasn’t Lived at for years, even though she updated her address,And when my mom is trying to contact for a replacement, they’re refusing and said they’re going to charge her for a replacement and the February package. My mom NEVER gets anything nice for herself, and the one time she does, she gets screwed over by a scamming company. Ipsy just lost a customer, and someone who was considering buying a subscription with them. Get your crap together .

I made an order for Christmas in November of 2025. The order came in December but items were missing, this wasnt an ipsy subscription it was items I chose and paid for individually. No packing slip is sent, I contacted their joke of customer care, an Ai chat bot two seperate times and was told a ticket was created and the item would be sent. 2 months later and no paid for product. Now their stupid chat bot says too bad its been 45 days. Screw this company. Don't chance wasting your cash on this company. There is no customer service and they basically steal your money

Absolutely terrible company! No customer service!! If you have an issue you cannot call. You can talk to bots who give false information. Good luck trying to email or contact them via social media. They take a very long time to respond and offer zero help. They do not stand by their product and do no offer refunds for missing products or mistakes on their part. Do not use this service unless you want to be scammed!

Terrible value. No customer service
I bought two Original subscriptions as Christmas gifts. In the first month’s box, the sample products were minuscule; there was nothing deluxe about them. That these tiny samples were allegedly worth up to $70 is laughable. Additionally, there is no “live” customer service. When I tried to cancel my subscription and get a refund, I was never able to get past the automated messages feature from both the chatbot and the customer service email account. There is no ability to talk to a real person. The chatbot opened an email ticket for me to get help with my issue. The customer service email account told me to talk to the chatbot. Both automated platforms were unanimous that I have no recourse. Both automated platforms kindly informed me that I can’t get a refund and I’m stuck for the remainder of the subscription duration even though what I received in my first box is nowhere near what was advertised. These subscriptions are a horrible value and were a colossal waste of my $360. I’m so disappointed. Whatever you do, do not make the same mistake I did.

We had a terrible experience with Ipsy. I have 2 daughters and they each wanted a 3 month gift subscription for Christmas. They were purchased and both sent to my email address, since I'm the parent and they're both minors. I redeemed both 3 month subscriptions but instead of having 2 of them, it just put 1 6-month on my account. I have tried contacting their help desk and was basically told that there's no way they can fix it. That's ridiculous. I have some very disappointed children as now they'll need to share 1 subscription. I would never recommend this company to anyone, their support is not helpful at all.

Truly terrible customer service. I was lured into their luxury-tier subscription with the promise that I would be able to pick 3 of my own products. Did not happen. You know that quiz you take about your beauty and skincare likes and dislikes? They ignored it. In the next 2 weeks I received 1) an email welcoming me to Ipsy. 2) an email assuring me I would soon be receiving a list of products to choose among 3) an email announcing they had already mailed out my box. In other words, they skipped the part where I was allowed to choose. Instead I got a box full of junk, including 2 things I specifically asked NOT to receive-- a mascara and skin toner. The other items: 2 cheesy make-up brushes, a very strange blush palette of mostly browns. That left one moisturizer. I've never heard of the brand. Every attempt to reach customer service and point out that this was their mistake was met with another bot. Finally they said, No, we don't let you pick any products your first month. First month is the last for me.
