Don’t waste your money on Bottega Veneta

I am extremely disappointed with Bottega Veneta. I bought a bag and bracelets, paying a lot of money for what I thought was luxury quality. But the colour on all my items is already fading and peeling after very little use. This is completely unacceptable for such expensive products. The quality does not match the price at all. I will never buy Bottega Veneta again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before spending their money.

God awful service!

Their customer service is truly atrocious. How is this label considered one of the best? I tried to purchase a belt from the store in Lisbon, Portugal as a Christmas gift and the experience felt like I was dealing with a government department more than a high end luxury brand. Totally disinterested staff and no follow up to my queries on its availability. My queries were entirely reasonable as well. I felt like I was begging them to take my money. Screw that.

What a terrible customer service — I’m so disappointed. It took over three (!) months to have the zipper on my bag repaired. No one could tell me how long it would take, and every question I asked was met with the same answer: “we don’t know.” Such a high-end brand, yet such poor service. Unbelievable. On top of that, the bag has been wearing badly at the corners — and that within just two years. Apparently, they “couldn’t do anything about that”…Bottega Veneta: never again!

Goodbye BV, you are no longer luxury to me

I ordered a purse via their online website and paid $35 for overnight shipping. Unfortunately, I received a completely different bag. Given that I had issues with wrong products in the past, I always record myself opening expensive purchases so I can always use it as evidence in case there is a problem. I took videos of myself opening the bag, finding the wrong product, and then packing it and sending it back, even photos of the FedEx drop-off confirmation. I talked to their customer support over the phone regarding this problem and then, according to their advice, I sent it back the same hour I received it. Three months later, there is no refund or exchange. You cannot call yourself a luxury company if you cannot quality check prior to shipping out goods that are worth thousands of dollars and take months to complete the exchange or refund. I would not recommend the customer service at Bottega Veneta and will no longer be shopping at this brand.

The botega Venetta store in Tucson, Arizona are not paying their employees on timeSeveral of the cashiers, mainly females and mainly single have not been paid for a period of time.HR told the girls to mind their own businessThey also said that the person who makes out the checks is trying to clean up his checking account and they will have to wait a week.The person that I know that works, there has not eaten in five days.

Bottega Veneta sunglasses

I bought a pair of sunglasses from Bottega Veneta. The sunglasses case was made of such poor quality material that it warped, peeled, and started to come apart. I told them that such a poor quality case was unbecoming of such an expensive brand and that I was embarrassed to take it out of my bag. I wrote to them to make up for it and replace it with a new case. This expensive brand responded with an email that was completely unbecoming of them. They said they couldn't replace it and that I would have to buy a new case from their website. This is truly embarrassing; I'm embarrassed for this brand.

Terrible !!

Terrible !!! My bag leather peeled by itself cause of their own quality , ı went to store for repair or exchange , they refused exchange also they wanna charge me for the repair service !!after şt came from repair they didn’t do anything it is at same peeled condition. İt is a really shame for this brand name , ı had never such a terrible service in other luxury brands, ı will never ever touch or buy again from Bottega!! İ highly recommend please stay away from this brand and don’t waste your money !

Most terrible customer service I have experienced…

Most terrible customer service I have ever experienced. Two pieces are damaged and need repair. Both are quality related issues. At first they didnt even want to accept my repair and then after they want to charge me €60 to glue my boots down? The other repair cant even be fixed because they dont have the parts anymore to fix the item.. While the item is still being sold online? Never ever buying from them again. What a waste of money.

Do not buy

Do not buy, poor quality and bad customer service! I bought a card holder which was very expensive. After 4 months the seam started to split and a whole appeared, I contacted customer service who said it was 'natural wear and tear' and offered to repair to for £80. I disputed this and got no response. Very disappointed all round.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BOTTEGA VENETA in DOHA AIRPORT

I had an EXTREMELY disappointing experience at the Bottega Veneta store in Doha Airport.Upon arrival, I saw a bag I wanted to purchase that was on sale but when I tried to purchase it I was told I couldn’t buy it unless I had a departing ticket.I spent significant time in the store with the associate, expecting a smooth purchasing process, only to be denied at the till due to a lack of clarity in your policies.I had just arrived at the airport but I was leaving in a couple days.I explained I would be flying out in a few days and the sales associate told me she would reserve the bag.She messaged me on WhatsApp to confirm.However, when I called the store later to let them know I have my departure ticket and I can make the purchase - I found out she never reserved the bag—nor did she notify anyone of our conversation, or even let me know she wouldn’t be reserving it. I had to chase them repeatedly, racking up an international phone bill, only to be met with vague answers and zero accountability.I had the chance to buy the same bag at Bottega stores while I was on holiday but I didn’t because I trusted the staff at Duty Free who said it was reserved for me.Furthermore the bag was still available to order in to the store as I was informed by my Sales Associate in Bottega London, however Bottega in Doha airport did not make the effort to explore other options.I also asked to be informed when the next sale would happen and—no surprise—no one ever got back to me.I filed a complaint but the managers were dismissive and didn’t even apologise until I directly told them it was unacceptable that no one had apologised. They offered no solution, just told me I could return to the airport and buy any remaining bag—basically what any walk-in customer could do.This was NOT luxury service. It was careless, disorganised and unprofessional.I expected so much more from a brand like Bottega Veneta. This experience falls far below the standards of customer service one would expect from a store operating in a premium duty-free environment. No wilful apology, no solution, just dismissiveness and rudeness. This is not what I expect from a luxury brand. AVOID if you value proper service.

I ordered a bag online and paid for the $25 overnight shipping and received a different bag. I always record myself opening large purchases because you can always use it as evidence incase there is a problem. I took videos of myself sending it back and photos of the FedEx drop-off confirmation. I sent it back the same hour I received it and talked to Shakia and Ethan regarding this problem over email and the online chat feature. There was no resolution and was told it would take 10 business days to to complete the exchange. You cannot call yourself a luxury company if you guys cannot quality check prior to shipping out goods that are worth over thousands of dollars and take 10 business days to complete the exchange. Also, the return was delivered the next day and was not scanned yet because it still says "awaiting return" under my account. I would not recommend the customer service at Bottega Veneta and will no longer be shopping at this brand.

Is there anyone can help with an order from Bottega venetta. I've waited 8 weeks and the parcel has been packed incorrectly for the 2nd time and is on hold as dangerous goods. Customer Service does not help at all. Don't know what to do next?

The customer service experience so far…

The customer service experience so far for the online store purchases has been abysmal. The staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional, it is unclear why from the moment the call is answered there is immediate disdain from the staff. Poor service thus far, not inclined to spend anymore with the brand or particularly trust the service moving forward.

Bottega Veneta is a Scam fraud and its customer service are criminals

Bottega Veneta brand and store are such a scam and a fraud . They scammed me for 1120 pounds . Such a disgusting quality and on top of that theft and mistreated and manipulated.Absolutely criminals.I was scammed by Bottega Veneta.I am a victim of their fraud.I am a swedish German citizen new in London . In work as a CEO for a tech consulting company .I bought a pair of Bottega lug boots from a 3rd party called Matches Fashion. The boots were faulty. I was told by matches store to go directly to the main brand for repair.I went to Bottega Veneta store in Harrods, they took the boots for repair which took 2 months. And after 2 months they didn't really repair the boots. They lied and said the boots were repaired but the boots were not repaired.After discussion with them they said they will give ma a refund from the Bottega store in New Bond street.I went there , they took the boots, the processed the refund . But the refund never arrived to my account . I called them and spoke with them over Whatsapp and they just keep saying there's nothing they can do.I ask them for a refund ARN number but they refused to give it to me . No one to really help you or tell you why refund not processed as they promised. They refuse to help or answer or give me refund or give me ARN number .This was a total Scam and a fraud .Avoid this brand and store .SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. Criminals.Currently no shoes and no refund . But going to court .ABSOLUT CRIMINALITY. I will take these criminals to court for sure.

My husband bought a small Jodie bag…

My husband bought a small Jodie bag online for my birthday. It came without a certificate of the craft. My husband called the customer service and talked to someone named Ethan. He promised us it will be sent in a week. Never heard from him again. We called and this time talked to someone different saying that we’ll hear back from them in a week. Again, we didn’t hear anything. Finally today ( a month later ) someone else answered the phone and said we’ll never get it because we didn’t create a login when we ordered it and we can not return the bag. They are TERRIBLE !!!!! I will never ever buy from BV ever again neither should you!

No (anti) child-labour or (anti) slavery statement to be found on the website? Not to mention something about high quality standards etc. I do expect that at that price point TBH. It's not Primark or Shein after all.

The worst Customer Service I have ever…

The worst Customer Service I have ever encountered. I handed over two bags for refreshment and repair at the beginning of February, and to this day - the beginning of August - after nearly half a year of waiting, the bags have still not been sent back to me. After five months of waiting, the esteemed service informed that the bags would not be refreshed. Okay, things happen, but waiting almost half a year for such an assessment is a bad joke and a lack of respect. The contract I received stated the completion date of the repair to be 03.05, today is 01.08, and yet no bag has reached me. I am considering legal action. I advise avoiding this "luxury" brand.
