Left stranded
Prebooked a taxi on Thursday for Friday evening at 6:50pm to an event and also booked the return journey. Received confirmation. However no taxi arrived, at 7:05pm on Friday received a call to say there were no taxis in the area and both bookings were cancelled. This left us already late for our event and stranded. Absolutely disgusted. Why on earth did they take our booking?

Seamless pick-up from delayed holiday flightMy husband and I were met at Newcastle…
My husband and I were met at Newcastle International Airport by a very respectful young driver (029) after a very long, delayed, flight from Corfu. The company Triton travel had organised this pick-up. The drive was through very heavy traffic on the A1 but the driver was careful and diligent, listening to our holiday adventures!! and delivering us safely to our door. Extremely happy with this young gentleman.

Safe caring driver
We could not have had a better taxi driver.Abi is a safe driver. We had to collect something and she waited and brought us home. She could not have been more helpful. Nothing was a problem to her. We would highly recommend her. We will most certainly be using her again.Newcastle upon Tyne.

SCAMMERS used by SCAMMERS!!
SCAMMERS used by SCAMMERS!!Veezu are plastered on a website called RUSHPAY.CO.UK who have scammed people and stolen their money. The owner of Rushpay has closed his app and locked people's money inside probably gaining financially. He partners with companies such as Blueline Taxi's and a few others as their logo can be found on their website. I am starting to this these taxi firms are used as part of a huge operated money laundering system. Get Scott to reinstall the Rushpay app immediately

Don’t use Blueline Cars - UNRELIABLE
My friend booked a taxi at 10:50 pm on Friday 22nd November, from Knaresborough to home in Harrogate. We were told that the taxi would be 5 minutes and to wait outside, which we did in freezing temperatures. In spite of three further phone calls it took a total of more than 35 minutes to arrive. We are both in our 70’s and vulnerable to the extreme cold (in fact it is now snowing (morning after Saturday 23rd November)The taxi driver told us that he was dispatched from a call centre in India!!Shame on you BLUELINE. I am a Harrogate resident and have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, but will now be changing my allegiance to another Harrogate Taxi Company. Shame on you again Blueline - You need to be truthful to customers and give them true pick up times to save them almost freezing to death.Take my advice - don’t use BLUELINE TAXIS because they are unreliable and give unrealistic pick up times!!!!BEWARE.

Confirmed taxi on its way then cancelled and turns out taxi was never coming
Booked a taxi for 5 people from the airport. Tried to pay upfront but the app said this was not working but got booking confirmation.Got an update to say taxi is on its way to airport. Got a reg and a tracker link. Then it was cancelled a minute later. Called the office and they said they had no 5 people taxis available. So we were left at the LBA with 3 kids at midnight (Arrow had a cab for us in 20 minutes).I get the feeling there is a lack of effort and an over reliance on apps that don't really work.

Cancelling bookings without warning or contact...Booked wheelchair taxis to and from a party. Got confirmations I happened to check the app the day before and the home journey had been cancelled (without any contact being made). I tried to book return slots earlier and later than the original time, which were also confirmed and then cancelled later in the day (also without contact).I ended up having to cancel the outward journey as they had messed me around too much and we couldn't go to party without any way of returning home.Disabled people need reliability and planning. We can't just ring round last minute and sort something out.Disgusting customer service.

Very poor service and communication
Booked a taxi for next morning to take my child to school due to car issues. 1 minute before taxi due to arrive text to say delayed. Called them to ask details. Taxi delayed by at least 15 minutes because very just. Not acceptable service when pre booked.

Incredibly poor service and customer relationship. If they weren’t monopolistic in the area they would not stand the chance of competition, considering price and communication

Complete rip off charged almost 5x amount of normal journey!
We were picked up by a blueline taxi driver from Grantley Hall on Sunday 11th June and taken back to the Unicorn Hotel in Ripon - which is approximately 10 mins. The driver charged us £47 which we had to pre pay. We spent ages trying to get another taxi company and the hotel weren’t able to ring us another company. The others we tried didn’t pick up and we don’t know the area. We were backed into a corner to pay the £47 when taxi to Grantley Hall was £10. We have spoken to a colleague who visits Grantley often and uses this firm. He said even from Harrogate to Grantley (which he regular does) it only costs him £20 and that’s to be collected too.I have raised this with Blueline Taxis and I am awaiting a response

Rude, unprofessional service
I do not usually complain however I must make the public aware of the highly unprofessional service I have experienced at the hands of this company.I pre-booked a taxi to arrive at a certain time however the taxi was 25 mins late. When I phoned to report this the call handler was highly unprofessional, rude and shouted at me before explaining her personal situation and hanging up on me.The gentleman who dropped us into Harrogate (Andrew) genuinely seemed to care about his customers and advised me to make a complaint to the general manager (Clive)Clive couldn’t have been more disinterested in offering any resolution to the matter and himself hung up on me after a time. I am absolutely appalled. A general manager hanging up on a customer?Rude, unprofessional company. DO NOT USE.

My son approached 4 Blue Line taxis…
My son approached 4 Blue Line taxis parked outside the Central Station and asked to be taken to Heaton. He was refused by all the and told that the fare wasn't big enough. Can you please inform your drivers that is illegal to refuse a fare.Unfortunately he did not get any of their numbers, so we are unable to complain to the taxi licensing authority.

Such an unhelpful taxi firm
Such an unhelpful taxi firm. Had issues with them before over the last year - not turning up at all / being v late, and just tried to book a taxi for in a few weeks time, which I had been assured I would be able to do when I called a few days ago, only to have the phone put down on me by and incredibly rude and unhelpful lady - you wouldn't think they want to keep running a business. I wouldn't usually complain or write a bad review, but I have had so many poor experiences with this taxi firm over the last year now.

I have personally experienced an abusive, vile, intimidating Blueline cars driver who used sexually provocative language towards me today. I will never use them again and have notified all of those I know locally not to either. AVOID!

Unreliable & overcharging taxi firm
It’s rare I consider myself to be genuinely ‘ripped off’ but Blueline Cars did just that last week. The key is to not tell passengers about the level of surcharges that exist if you travel outside Harrogate – and then announce it when you arrive so you have no choice but to pay. The web site does say ‘Call out charge may apply for other Village pickups’ but the lack of transparency almost feels like a scam as there are no clear details on how much these surcharges are. We booked a cab for where we staying, 16 miles outside Harrogate. We received only a text confirmation with no details about that the surcharge was. We called and texted the number back for more information but no one ever responded. The driver was over 15 minutes late, which wasn’t a good start, and he didn’t say anything about a surcharge and simply started his meter. We traveled ONE MINUTE and ONE MILE. The driver announced he was charging us £30 for the journey despite his meter reading £5.50. No matter what we said he was adamant about the charge despite not mentioning it at any point until we were being dropped off. Later we saw we'd actually been charged £31.50, so even more. At £31.50 per mile this was the most expensive taxi fare of my entire life.I spoke to the manager who simply kept mentioning the surcharge but clearly had no interest in the lack on information on how much surcharges should be. Any firm should warn their customers about this level of charging and not doing so could be construed as being deceptive – like ordering a bottle of wine in a restaurant for £5.50 and then being charged £31.50 once you’ve drunk it. I would never use this firm again. Unhelpful, over charging, lack of information or transparency – and the driver was 15 minutes late too. Very, very poor on every possible level.
