Operation was painless
Overall good. I had Punctal plug operation , my doctor well operated though there is not a major change which he mentioned . Wrong information given , for dry eyes you should use warm compress not cold! Expensive

This has been edited from the original review! It's been almost a year since having smart lens carried out on both eyes and boy do I regret it! It would had been better for me to throw the money away rather then letting them touch my eyes. I had great long distance vision and only suffered from short sight as in reading. Now not only have I lost 60% of my long distance but still struggle with close up. They said I had a problem with my left eye with my optic nerve and that they had to put a vivity lens in the left and trifocle to right. I have since had my eyes checked three times in London and there were no problems with my optic nerve. Night time driving has become extremely dangerous due to my left eye with light starburst and right with halo's. I am suffering with extreme floaters so bad that if you stood in front of me, half your face would be missing and if I looked at something white, like white paper, i see a cluster of bubbles in my left eye. I suffered from extreme sensitivity to light for 5 months and thankfully that has now gone. I tried to speak with the surgeon numeras times and been fobbed off tohis assistance. The surgeons name is Serdar Marole and if you want to take my advice, steer clear, they have completely ruined my eyes. I have wasted money before and boy, it would had been better for me to throw the money away!

An amazing eye hospital
I choose turkey to do my clear lens replacement eye surgery. The Veni Vidi Goz is an amazing eye hospital. The staff are very helpful and friendly, extremely professional. my doctor Dr Nihat Karakaya has so many years of experience. The doctor is very calming and he did his job so perfectly. I felt very safe. Anastasia was extremely helpful. She was there to translate from Turkish to English. Made my life so much easier. Thank you so much Anastasia . ♥️I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone that would like to have any sort of eye surgery.

No Touch Laser
I had tPRK surgery 2 weeks ago (I believe the clinic calls it “no touch laser”). I communicated through a translator, Anastasia, who was polite, professional, and responsive the entire process. After consulting with Dr. Ertan Sunday on the appropriate procedure, we completed it later the same day. Doctor Sunday was very friendly, as a foreigner it was nice that he spoke English and during a process that can be somewhat nerve-wracking he and the surgery staff were friendly and comforting throughout. You need to know what you’re getting into with PRK surgery in terms of the longer recovery time vs LASIK but I would hope anyone would have done their research. At the follow up five days after they said everything looks good, I’ll be seeing them again in a week or two. As an American obviously the price was very low and good value. I’m still recovering two weeks in but I’m improving, happy I did it and would recommend Veni Vidi to anyone. Thank you Anastasia, Dr. Sunday, and all the staff!

I had a fantastic experience with Veni Vidi Goz. The Clinic was first class. My surgeon Dr Ugur Balci was amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and put me completely at ease. The staff were excellent, and everything was completely seamless, and well organized. Finally, the translator that I dealt with from my initial questions, through booking, through surgery, and back home to London was just the absolute best. She was quite literally always available for me. I had multi focal lens replacement done. It was done flawlessly. I have had results that blew me away. The recovery was so easy for me. I just can’t say enough about the complete experience.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I did a lot of research on where to have my conjunctivi nevus removed with very little success. I came across the Veni Vidi clinic online and got in touch with Anastasia who said it was possible to have this treatment done. I travelled to Turkey 2 weeks later to have the procedure done. Anastasia was very professional, friendly, super helpful, kind and guided me throughout every step. Her presence itself calmed me in every step of the process as I was super nervous but she really did well to take care of me in all aspects of my visit. I cannot thank her enough! Dr Remzi Karadag was my doctor who performed the surgery and I cannot thank him enough for making it a very smooth operation. He was very professional, kind and reassured that it will be ok. The whole team at the world class Veni Vidi clinic were amazing! Thank you all for changing my life. Appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart.

Happy patient
I went to this eye hospital as it was highly recommended by one of my Turkish clients in London. Dr Sultan Kaya Unsal was my Doctor. She was really kind and understanding. I went for an initial consultation then 3 months later i went for my surgery. Anastasia, Dr Sultan’s PA was amazing. She made sure every enquiry was answered and would do her best in all the adjustments for my appointment. Its been 8 months since i had my surgery and i must say i am super pleased with the results. I had upper eye surgery. I was quite swollen for about a week and a half, healing process is different for everyone. Dr Sultan was very reassuring, i messaged her directly and she replied very fast, which meant a lot to me. My eyes look really nice. Thanks to Dr Sultan, Anastasia and the team.

Antalya Veni Vidi - Trifocal lens replacement surgery disaster
The worst decision of my life! Since the RLE operation, my life has felt like I had a car crash. I had a routine checkup and consultation a year ago at the Antalya Veni Vidi, with advancing presbyopia but NO cataract. After 10 min check, Dr U Balci suggested trifocal lens replacement surgery promising brand new eyes. I got operated on the same day! There was NO explanation about possible side effects, recovery issues/length, possible risks, or lens options suitabilities before the operation. Haloes/Glares are so bad I can no longer drive a car in low light. I now have excess floaters, chronic extreme dry eye, pain, burning, sting, itch, and headaches. Digital displays are impossible to read from a distance. My eyes have been so blurry since the first week. I can read just about without glasses but the quality of my vision is so bad beyond comprehension. My vision quality is destroyed. My life has been a rollercoaster since the operation. I had to quit my job. I am so depressed near suicidal.The doctor said it is psychological and it is normal post-operation side effects which he NEVER mentioned before the operation that I’d have such issues. If he told me 10% of the side effects, I would never agree to have this operation. I was grossly misled. This was a commercially motivated decision rather than what’s best for me. It is extremely unethical to operate people's eyes that is irreversible without fully informing them about possible complications in person during the consultation. I asked for a contract to see what kind of risks I was taking on but they wouldn’t give it to me till I paid in full. I had to chase 3 days to get a contract copy.

Trustworthy and professional
I have waited almost 4 weeks before writing this review. I wanted to review the healing process as well as my experience with veni vidi. I initially chose Veni Vidi as I have friends in Turkey who verified that they were a reputable and competitively priced organisation. When I made contact with Veni Vidi I communicated via Whatsapp with Anastasia. As this was my first contact with this hospital, I was very impressed by her efficiency and speed of getting back to me with answers to all my questions. Upon arrival to Istanbul airport, I was met by the arranged transfer service (included in price). She was there to meet me on each of my 4 trips to the hospital and stayed with me throughout. The entire team of technicians were incredibly friendly and polite and professional. My surgeon was highly qualified, experienced and informative. Dr. Firat helvacioglu explained the process and results of the many eye tests his colleagues had performed.. The process was totally and absolutely painless and finished in minutes! As in previous reviews, my vision improved immediately. I had to purchase 4 types of eye drops from the pharmacy next door for £26. This was far cheaper than the price I would pay in UK. I did go back and buy extra eye drops as I had some wastage when trying to instill. Eg. 1 x brimonidine, 3 x dexamethasone, 1 x antibiotic, 2 x theoloz duo will aneable usage for the duration. Four weeks later, the halo effect on lights is still present, the scratchy effect in eyes has diminished and my vision is getting better and better. In summary, I am hugley pleased and satisfied with my new eyes and the entire Veni Vidi experience!

She was quite literally always available for me. I had multi focal lens replacement done. It was done flawlessly. I have had results that blew me away. The recovery was so easy for me. I just can’t say enough about the complete experience. Finally, it was less than half the cost of doing one eye here.

Perfect Vision
If I could give six stars I would. The Veni Vidi Eye Clinic was superb. As soon as I got there all my concerns disappeared. I was there for cataract removal surgery on both eyes and insertion of premium lenses. Anastasia organised all the transfers from airport to hotel and to the clinic. She was with me every step of the way through my procedures. Dr Ertan Sunay was wonderful and I had confidence in his judgement and recommendations on lenses. The whole process took only 4 days and it was reassuring to have my operated eyes checked by Dr Sunay next day. The results have far exceeded my expectations with great vision near and far. No need for glasses with the new lenses feel totally natural.

Hello, everyone.This is the first time in my life something like this has happened.I don't know how to begin, because whatever comment I write, it will not be enough for what I experienced in Istanbul with Doctor Akin. Ladies and Gentlemen... this is a magician who in just 3 minutes changes your life in such a way that you cannot believe it yourself. I wore glasses since I was born, and so did my girlfriend. I was also on the verge of going blind, let me be more specific: I wore glasses with minus 7 and minus 11, and my girlfriend minus 5 and minus 8. I think you can draw your own conclusion how bad it was. This wizard, Doctor Akin, made a magic that now allows us to see better than a person who did not wear glasses. I cannot be any happier with the results of my surgery. I had tri-focal lens implants by doctor Kadir who is excellent and the results were impressive as I was able to read without wearing glasses right after my surgery. All this wouldn’t have been possible without the coordination of Anastasia. I live in the U.S, I came across Veni Vidi after an extensive research online trying to find the best eye clinics in Istanbul. I’m very thankful that clinic assigned Anastasia to be my coordinator. She is very professional and accommodating. She made me feel very comfortable with the whole process and helped with all my inquiries prior arriving to Istanbul, throughout my visits to the clinic and surgery as well as post surgery check ups. She also did a wonderful job coordinating my transfers between the clinic and hotel. I highly recommend Veni Vidi to anyone thinking to get eye surgery in Istanbul. I also highly recommend asking for doctor Kadir as your surgeon and Anastasia as your coordinator.

Thanks a lot. I was made a correction by KADIR ÇOLAKOĞLU and I'm very happy. I have -6.5 on both eyes and now I see brilliantly. I'm from Belarus and I'm living in Georgia, but a comfortable transfer from an airport solved this problem. And Anastasia really help me, she always gets in touch and if I have any questions she'll give me all answers.

I had a laser eye surgery my mother and aunt had upper blasphemy. From the transfer from the hotel to our last check up everything went very smoothly.
