A company with no customer service
A company with no customer service!! Do not buy off this company. Bought a refurbished Nextbase dash cam from velocity electronics through eBay on 17/6/21 so it is still under guarantee. Now faulty and useless to use. After contacting eBay with great difficulty they said to contact velocity but no response to many emails with all the details enclosed. Very difficult to contact as basically they do not want you to!! Avoid this company if you want to avoid problems if something goes wrong!!

Purchased a Nextbase 522gw refurbished off of Velocity ebay shop.Product was quickly dispatched. Product was as described well packaged but missing a couple of items. A quick email via ebay resulted in a immediate response from Lizzie customer services who was quickly able to rectify issue. This company cares about customer service and I would have no difficulty in recommending them as I will be using them again in the future.A big thank you to Lizzie.

Refused to refund postage
I bought a soundbar from this company on Ebay - big mistake. On finding that the volume on the remote control didnt work at all I contacted the company to return the soundbar via ebay. I received a post paid packing slip which was impossible to print - contacted Velocity only to be fobbed off and told to speak to ebay. Long story short I had to return the soundbar at my own expense hoping Velocity would refund me for my trouble but Velocity point blank refused. IF YOU BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU BETTER MAKE SURE YOU DONT NEED TO RETURN IT

This company are an authorised dealer for Nextbase dashcams. I purchased a dashcam via eBay that was brand new/ sealed unmolested from another eBay member who had had this particular dashcam as a replacement against a faulty one he had bought. I bought it in December 2020 he had it in October 2020. I purchased a rear view clip on camera (Nextbase via Halfords). Unfortunately when I connected it to the main camera it did not work. For some reason the main camera would freeze and not allow any access to the settings menu via the touch screen. I followed the advice given to me by the Nextbase help desk, but again no luck. I contacted Velocityelectronics as the original sellers and explained the issue.They have refused to honour the Nextbase warranty on the grounds I was not the original buyer and that it is within the Nextbase warranty terms. Well, I ve gone through the Nextbase warranty terms, (1) at no point does it mention or exclude claims from a 3rd party. (2) what it does state is that from day 29 to day 365 of the 12 month warranty the item is able to be returned to Nextbase OR their authorised dealers where a repair or refund would be offered.Velocityelectronics are now not answering my messages exposing them for what they are: a company with low morals who lie to customers who are asking for an issue to be resolved amicably and professionally. For a company who were recognised in a prestigious sellers award for sellers, they certainly makes me wonder how they got it.Advice, deal with them if you wish but be prepared to be ignored if anything goes wrong. A very very unscrupulous set up.

Must give Velocity Electronics the best positive rating possible, I purchased a Roberts Internet Radio RS1 Wireless Tuner Receiver which was competitively priced and received a super quick delivery. I was so pleased with the item that I ordered a second one, which again had a super fast delivery. There was a software upgrade available which was downloaded but it failed to load properly on the RS1 receiver. The problem was quickly solved the same day by Velocity Electronics, I spoke to Roberts Radio and they gave me a reference number confirming that the receiver’s software was corrupt, this was passed on to Velocity, they sent a Freepost label to return the faulty RS1 receiver and within 3 days a replacement had arrived. I received courtesy and prompt service in dealing with my problem.

Would have given no stars if possible. Worse firm I have ever dealt with in my 63 years. Bought item from them on ebay. Post office admitted non delivery. Velocityelectronics said chase the Post office up. I said that they were under obligation to do so as the contract of delivery was between them and the post office. I did anyway. Post office confused matters but admitted they were at fault and the the seller could make a claim and refund the buyer(me). They refused to do this and then stopped communicating. It was a simple matter made nearly impossible by the seller not abiding by refunding if non delivery of goods (uk consumer law) I ended up making a claim back on my mastercard which presumably cost them a lot more.ConclusionIn my view this firm does not care about its customers. This could have easily been resolved. Had I not paid with my credit card I would not have been refunded for non delivery. My advice is to stay clear of this firm and if using ebay then check there negative feedback. Also use your own credit card to pay.

Stay clear of this company - faults with Hoover
I bought a brand new Hoover vacuum cleaner in November 2018, only to be returned due to a fault with the cleaning head. After returning the cleaner Velocity Electronics no longer stocked my type of model, so a cheaper Hoover replacement was sent out. However within a few months this vacuum wouldn't charge on a daily basis. It appears the vacuums in stock will only work for a few months, before developing a major fault. Stay clear of this company, as they also don't reply to emails.
