Extraordinary TABLET
I’ve been a TABLET client since the company started & have booked hundreds of hotel stays with them for both business and pleasure.They are exceptional in every way and I deal with them exclusively.The entire team is a pleasure.Professional, efficient, truly concerned and above all ➖ competent.I have very discerning clients whose needs are particular and desires quite specific.The TABLET staff understands the nuances of luxury and deals with every request and concern with discretion and efficiency.I most recently stayed in Amsterdam and Nicolas was superb in handling a few things that came up…I was impressed by his grace and diplomacy in addressing everything almost immediately.I could not recommend TABLET more highly.

I have been a member for years and…
I have been a member for years and years and have never had an issue canceling a reservation before. I called the help desk and they were able to cancel my reservation and reimburse me over $600 for the "non-refundable" reservation I didn't realize I booked! Thank you, Tablet!!

Tablet has a wonderful bespoke…
Tablet has a wonderful bespoke selection of hotels and were so easy to book with; and following a legitimate cancellation request they acted swiftly to liaise with the hotel to cancel my reservation without a penalty. The best part of the experience was that a human being (Didier) at Tablet quickly answered the phone, was delightful to speak with and incredibly helpful.

Great Customer Service
Tablet have been absolutely fantastic to book through. Obviously they have a great selection of hotels for one thing but their customer service is what really stands out. The hotel we booked had made an admin error and it caused a problem with our booking at the last minute. Alyssa from the New York Office and Didier from the Europe office both worked to solve this problem as quickly as possible and came to an excellent resolution with little hassle for us. What could have been a very upsetting experience ended up being smoothly handled by Tablet and not the hotel. Where the hotel failed to take responsibility, Tablet was there and willing to ensure we didn’t suffer as a result. Alyssa was extremely understanding and so, so helpful in this experience.

after joining TabletHotels, prices for hotels go up
after joining, the prices offered are at least $200 above Priceline or similar companies. They mention a welcome gift such as chocolates. We got a very small piece of chocolate that was stale. The benefit of guaranteed early checkin and late checkout is not worth it. They don't make it easy to figure out how to cancel your membership and did not respond to help. I am not sure where all of the positive reviews came from.

I have relied on Tablet as my hotel clearinghouse for years. The app is my first stop when I am planning a trip and whenever possible I only stay at a property that has been included in Tablet’s results. I have found countless amazing properties and the upgrades and perks are well-worth the Tablet Plus membership fee. Most importantly it is such a time-saver to only sort through a handful of properties that I know have been vetted by like-minded reviewers rather than the hundreds that might show up on kayak or some other site. Lastly the customer service is amazing and it’s such a reassurance to have someone you know you can go to when you might encounter an issue traveling abroad.

I relied on the Tablet team for last minute reservations in Portugal
I relied on Tablet hotels to help me with some fairly last minute reservations to Portugal this September, 2023. Their reservations team was helpful, responsive every time I asked for assistance. I did not book at all of the hotels they recommended, but my experience with the reservation team was outstanding. When traveling, I usually check Tablet first before looking at other hotel sites. Have not been disappointed with any of the Tablet Hotels where I have stayed.

Useless site with rigged reviews
I booked a hotel through tablet and it was so bad we couldn’t stay. Not only did the room smell, it was shabby and dirty. Tablet did nothing about it and blocked me from writing a review even though I paid for the room- beware- they do not have transparent business practices.

Fresh and smart alternative to commercial hotel sites
Tablet has always impressed me with their curation of properties, enlightened and "unique perspective." They don't cater to the masses. Over the years we've have a few off choices, but typically refer to them first when looking up hotels. I'm posting this review in support of their good work but as a way of saying thanks.

They delete bad reviews & pressure you to remove them on other sites, too!
Michelin's Tablet Plus / hotels suppresses bad reviews. Whenever I book a hotel though them and the review says something negative, they don't post the review until I follow up several times (over many months). Lately they've started asking me to remove negative reviews from TripAdvisor and Google too! Very unethical. Their reviews and rankings can't be trusted at all.

Urgent need for 11 people to Italy solved
I know this sounds crazy but we are a 3 generational family of 11 who had a trip book at a small inn in Tuscany in June. About 3 weeks before we get a note from the Inn saying it’s not going to be open on time. I quickly emailed Tablet hotels on a Saturday with our urgent request and she immediately went to work. She came back with 3 amazing choices - luckily we found Locanda Rossa- which turned out to be the most perfect resort for all of us. A “pre-shopped” destinations that are stylish and comfortable with amazing service is what Tablet Hotels offers. Thank you again for all your help!
