I ordered 5 gallons of SP930 Swan Porcelain Slip $74, but the product I received was extremely watery with zero clay sediment at the bottom. More importantly, it is highly caustic. After briefly checking the consistency with my bare hands, it caused a chemical burn sensation and left visible pitted marks around my pores. This is not normal slip behavior. Be very careful with this batch—it feels more like a bucket of harsh chemicals than pottery slip. Highly disappointed.

After seeing several SPS videos about the 184 electric kiln and how it's perfect for the home studio, I went ahead and ordered one. The sales associate who helped me on the phone was knowledgeable and let me know there would be some lead time because it would be built after I ordered it. We live in Southern Oregon and we had it shipped. They kept me posted as to when they were shipping it. The videos on the website and the information packet are very helpful. I have the Genesis Spark controller on my kiln and it is so easy to use. It keeps track of every time I fire and if there were any error codes.
