Highly Recommend Sandra’s Cruise Tours

We have booked Sandra’s Cruise Tours several times over the past several years. I have never been given a free tour as another poster claims so that I would provide a good review and that’s kind of insulting. The first time I booked with Sandra was pre- pandemic just before the pause. Obviously, everything was cancelled and I received all of money refunded from Sandra before we got our refunds from Carnival.In June 2022, we traveled to Norway and did two of her tours. They were both wonderful and I wished I had booked a few more of her tours at the other ports. In summer of 2024, we traveled to Iceland and the British Isles. We had several tours booked with Sandra and due to European price increase she cancelled a few months before our trip. We received a refund very quickly. In October 2024, we traveled to Singapore and used Sandra for every port she had available. All of them were so great! Pricing was better than the cruise line and each tour included so many more sites than any other excursion I could find. I highly recommend her tours - they are better than the rest and priced better.

I've booked with Sandra on 9 cruises…

I've booked with Sandra on 9 cruises covering 3 months at sea. Every excursion has been what was advertised. Of the few times we left late were because if other people showing up late or we had to detour to pick up people who were left behind. Best excursion was Biting Indonesia. Started in Oct 2019 and last cruise with her Oct 2023.

Sandra is offering free tours in return…

Sandra is offering free tours in return for excellent reviews. She still has not provided refunds for dozens of us from September 2023. Anyone saying they knew the tours were not refundable due to remote location is a liar. Sandra posted in her own Facebook page that if we didn’t port it was 100% refundable. Yes we have that screenshot to prove it. Now she has her friends attacking others on the cruise and then they tell security they hit them first. She is the biggest scam artist in the travel industry. Stay away from her of you risk losing all of your money. She will lie to your credit card company. She lost her credit card privileges because of all the chargebacks against her. She now uses Zelle…illegal in Canada because she knows you can’t get your money back once you send it. It’s the approved payment of scammers. I highly burger you to check out Consumer Rescue and the articles she has written on this particular person. Months of research went into that article before it was published and is 10000% accurate.

Do not trust this Canadian Woman Sandra O Leary

The tours are mostly awful and totally not as described, people are crammed in busses as cattle.She, Sandra O Leary, has no insurance, in case something goes wrong, for example an accident happens on the road, you are totally on your own.Do not trust her ! There is no agreement not any document you can rely on because she changes her terms whenever it is convenient for her. Do not let her ruin your holiday.She gives free tours for posting a good review, there are 2 on trustpilot from people who were paid to put it on trustpilot. Do not trust her !

Very satisfied with Sandra's cruise tours

I've traveled with Sandra's tours on 3 cruises and every tour was excellent. She worked hard to make them enjoyable and each one was longer and less expensive than those booked thru Carnival. Yes, I have read about the Greenland issue and I'm on the fence about it. She always tells her customers if there is no refund so I can't imagine this tour was any different. I would book with her again.

Poor company and poor tours all around

I booked several tours through Sandras, for Mediterranean last fall. To spend that much on a cruise and go that far, I felt that she ruined my vacation! The tours did not deliver the sites and agenda as expected; not because of weather or unexpected circumstances, but due to complete overcrowding and disorganization. For example, we were told we would avoid the chaos in Santorini by going to our own boat just a short walk away and going to the other side of the island. Not true! The greeter arrived almost an hour late and just moved us like a herd of cattle onto a normal tender boat. Our bus where we were told we could leave our belongings, made a pickup and drop off of an entirely different group. The tour guide got lost coming back to the bus and didn’t even point out any sites or how to get to them. There was no tour at all, just chaotic rides from one place to another. Never again!I have heard of many customers not getting refunds for cancelled stops in Greenland. Although that didn’t directly impact me, she was accepting Greenland reservations when I booked my tours and I remember every tour had a FULL refund if the ship didn’t dock. Of course experienced cruisers would never accept NON-REFUNDABLE. It wouldn’t make sense. She scammed them.

I booked with Sandra O'Leary in…

I booked with Sandra O'Leary in Greenland 2023 and knew prior to booking that Greenland tours were not refundable. She made it very clear that this port will not refund her the cost of tour if ship doesn't dock. I would of liked to see Greenland, but you can't blame the weather on her. I have booked tours through Sandra O'Leary in the past and will continue in the future. I think her tours are 100% better than the cruise ship and cheaper too.

Sandra O’Leary of Sandra’s Cruise Tours…

Sandra O’Leary of Sandra’s Cruise Tours is not a respectable or trusted tour company. I booked 2 different totes with her prior to her having a website. I booked it based off of her Facebook page which stated “if the ship does not port a full refund will be issued” so we booked with her. The first tour was booked via payment through PayPal using my credit card. She refused to give refunds stating Greenland was a remote port and was not eligible for refunds as stated on her website. I provided proof of her promises to PayPal but they couldn’t issue a refund as she had closed her account in order to avoid chargebacks. Our second tour was also booked prior to the website being live. The second tour was in such demand, I booked our entire party of 8 using our AmEx card to ensure we got spaces. This she refunded immediately stating that since we booked before the website was live, we were entitled to a full refund as the remote port exclusion had not been activated. After speaking to our AmEx representative, we found out she had too many disputes and was close to losing her merchant account with AmEx. I used my receipt from the PayPal tour booking showing it was booked prior to the AmEx booking along with her explanation of the reason the refund was returned and showed her it was also booked before the website going live. I used her reasons for the refund and logic to request the second refund. Both tours were eventually refunded but it took hours of my time and 30 plus emails over nearly 6 months to receive my refunds. I have dozens of friends who did not get a refund. All in all, I 100% do not recommend purchasing tours from this company.

Sandra cannot be trusted

Sandra cannot be trusted. We missed a port and although the tour stated clearly refundable she did not refund us the money. Side note which makes it even worse, she kept all of her clients money and never paid the original vendor.Do not book with her.

We booked three excursions with Sandra…

We booked three excursions with Sandra in Europe 2023. Sandra did not even sail on our trip, and instead got amateur volunteers to run the show. The Porto tour stated we would visit a vineyard and instead we went to a winery. The La Coruna tour failed to visit the Roman lighthouse as promised and the guides didn’t even tell us about this. We had to ask about it when we clearly were returning to the ship without making the stop. I would never use this company again. Incompetent and false promises.

She’s a scam artist!!!! Don’t book with her!!! Our ship didn’t even make it to port and she wouldn’t refund us!!!! We have proof stating she would before we bought it!! Sheister!!!

Less than zero should be an option

Less than zero should be an option. We were booked with her tour group for an excursion in Greenland. The ship did not dock there due to a hurricane. Her refunds were not forthcoming; she suggested we file with our insurance company. Later, she amended that, and was only offering 50% back minus business fees. When we booked, her policy was 100% refund, if the port is missed. Later, she changed the website.

Do NOT USE this tour company

Do NOT use this tour company. In September the Carnival Legend did not make it to Greenland. As a result the tours for those 2 ports were cancelled. Over 800 passengers are fighting for full refunds from Sandra. She has stated she did not receive a full refund from the boat tour operator. She received all but $7.50 pp. She did encourage him to keep 3, 4, or 5 thousand dollars and she would work with him for 2024. She told him we were all getting free cruises to make it appear he would be getting all that business next year. This is theft and deception of our money. At the time of booking the website had no refund policy. It later changed with no notification to any of us. It then changed again after the cruise to being non refundable due to the remote location. This is the paperwork she is sending to the banks to be used to determine the chargebacks. The information is incorrect. It goes to her character, honesty, integrity and accuracy of her claim. If you even think of using this tour company be sure to get in writing whether she is bonded, licensed and insured. Why insured? Because her insurance company should be paying out, not yours! Get the refund policy in full in writing. Screenshot the website, refund policy and your descriptions with the date visible. Then run as fast as you can the other way. There are other reputable companies out there. Find them, give them your money.

Owner will change terms and tour and not offer full refunds

I booked a tour for the day we would be in Greenland. I had asked the owner, Sandra O'Leary, on her face book advertisement if the tour was refundable if the cruise ship did not port. She replied if the cruise ship does not port the tour is refundable. Well due to weather we did not port. She is now stating the tour was always non refundable. this was no where on her web old site on terms and condition or tour description. She then started a new web site and completely changed the tour description to state non refundable. I booked march 3, 23 and have screen shots of her tour description dated march 30th, 23. she started the new web site april 17th, 23. the information and tour description chanced in may. She has refused to return the 100% minus the 15$ the terms and conditions stated but is offering only 50% with the possibility of more. per her own terms all refunds will be processed in 60 days. it is over 60 days and she has not returned 100% to everyone. She is also sending the new terms and tour description to the credit cards instead of the terms and description that was in effect at the time of booking. the date of her terms and tour description she sent to the credit card was Oct, 4, 23. after the port was missed september 8, 23.

What’s less than Zero?

We, and 100+ others, are trying to get money refunded on cruise excursions that never happened due to the ship not docking. When we booked we were reassured multiple times that the tours were refundable if the port was cancelled. After the cancellation the delays and excuses started until the website could be changed and the tour description now reads “not refundable.” Outright lies to banks, insurance companies, vendors, and customers followed along with threats of lawsuits and promises of 50% refund if credit card claims are not filed. Meanwhile the owner is cruising nonstop and enjoying her casino time.DO NOT USE unless you enjoy paying for a stranger’s vacation.

Buyer beware, avoid this company at all cost!

I wish I could rate this company zero stars. This company is dishonest and keeps your money even when she sells the tour as 100% refundable. She changed her website to non-refundable after our ship failed to port due to weather. She offered 50% refund if we agreed to not file a charge back on our credit card. We have everything in writing and screenshots of her terms and conditions and she is still fighting to keep everyone's money. She is telling everyone to file a claim with their travel insurance so she can keep our money. The tours we did get to go on thru her company were very disappointing. Unorganized, not what was advertised, and a waste of money. Buyer beware, this is not a reputable company.

Sandras cruise tours by Sandra Oleary…

Sandras cruise tours by Sandra Oleary is not a business I would ever do business with again. We booked a tour for Greenland with her on March 3, 2023 No where in her terms and conditions did it say it was non refundable I would never have booked with her just for this reason alone.Our cruise to Greenland never made it to Greenland because of weather. When hundreds of people started asking for refunds she changed the terms of service to Non Refundable to not pay us back. We have filed chargebacks with our credit card companies and she has provided them with fraudulent documents claiming to the credit card companies and the vendor that Carnival cruise line is giving us a free cruise next year. We are NOT getting a FREE cruise. The only thing Carnival gave us was 400 per stateroom to use on the ship while we were sailing. You can decide for yourself if this is the type of business that you want to do business with. But Buyer beware.

Poor Tour Operator

I did several European Cruise tours with Sandras Tours. Sandra O'Leary had the worst planned cruise tours I have ever been on. Many missed the whale watching because the boat left 30 minutes before scheduled. The Iceland tours had the worst tour guides ever. I really didn't care about the tour guides 7 kids by 7 fathers or her trouble with alcohol. I really wish I had learned more about the country than the guides personal life. Avoid. No one ever knew where to meet either.

Please beware of Sandrascruisetours

Please beware if you see tours offered by Sandra O'Leary or Sandrascruisetours. Hundreds of us are fighting to get refunds for tours we never got to do because the ship didn't dock. When advertised these tours were guaranteed to be 100% refundable if the ship did not dock but she has since altered these t & c s and disputes our claims. She continues to sell more tours and spends her time cruising around the world...it feels like we are paying her way. 😢
