Do not use this company
I took an offered deferral at the beginning of the loan. They increased my payments from 40 to 98 bi weekly payments that increased my total by over $20k. They did not provide a new TIL, nor did they indicate at the point of deferral the total cost of the deferral. After over a year of payments not one cent was applied to principle. If you use them, do not ever defer a payment or else you’ll end up in a debt trap. **Edited after Rise response ** Please note that I did contact Rise numerous times, as well as filed with the CFPG. Their responses were that due to the deferrals they did everything correct because I accepted the deferral. However, the extreme increase in total was not disclosed prior to accepting deferral. I did talk to one representative on the phone, Fernando, who agreed with me that this should not have happened, however every email I received from the company stood by their practices. Do not be fooled by their attempt in their response to make it seem like they want to try to fix it because they won’t and didn’t.

The loan was a positive experience and a quick one. I needed the loan to assist with some financial emergency. All I can say is WOW! The interest is high. But if you are in need of finances right away. This is the business to do a loan with. This is quick and easy and honest.

I thought I was helping my situation.
Totally feel like I was manipulated into thinking this was a good idea. My extra payments do nothing. I was working to improve my credit, now I just signed over my soul. Pardon me if that is harsh. Too anyone who applies, do your research so you can decode the paperwork and know what your really paying.

On the surface....apr appears to be extremely high.... however....monthly repay options are designed to moderate fairly based upon speedy pay back. Funds were deposited fairly quick during bank holiday delays...Nice loan processing system. Very convenient...

Very easy to apply,quick response time.

If you need a loan .My Loan was approve…
If you need a loan .My Loan was approve right away and check was mailed out in less the 24 hours. You can get your money deposit in checking account. Which would have been the next day! So I would try them out for sure!

Customer service is very very poor and RISE misleads you making you think they will help you. I applied for a loan and instead of them just telling me No so I could move along that asked me for my life history and 2 weeks still stringing me along they denied me and the very next day I applied at another company and I was not required to send in my life history and I was approved in a hour and the money was in my account the next day. ( DON'T MESS WITH RISE CREDIT).

No matter how desperate you may be
No matter how desperate you may be, please don’t go this route. There’s no way I should still be paying on a $2,000 loan that has already reached over $5,000. I will NEVER again seek help from this company.
